02:31Hey Josh, you alright mate?
02:36I'm seeing all the pictures.
02:40Two and a half minutes.
02:42Yeah they're all coming out now.
02:44A few more coming there, a few in the gym but they are slowly coming out.
02:52Yeah mate, they're all charging out now.
02:53I don't think that one is here too long.
03:02Yeah mate, they're all charging out now.
03:03I don't think that one is here too long.
03:09Yeah mate, they're all charging out now.
03:10Yeah mate.
03:11Yeah they're all charging out now.
03:12I don't think that one is here too long.
03:16Yeah they're charging out now.
03:17I don't think that one is here.
03:18Yeah.
03:19I don't think that one is here.
03:20Okay.
03:21Okay.
03:22I'm going to go to the gym.
03:23Ninety seconds. Anyone in this project you really want to pick out?
03:28No.
03:53No.
05:23Yeah, good morning to you, Tom.
05:36I am actually here, I'm stood behind our cameraman who's just focusing on the players and the
05:41coaching staff who have just walked out for their warm-up before their flight over to
05:46Frankfurt this afternoon.
05:48So, permutations are quite simple for Tottenham.
05:50If they are to win that game, they will be automatically through to the last 16, thus avoiding a playoff
05:58place.
05:58Now, with results going certain ways, a draw could well be enough, but they would be relying
06:04on quite a few other results from some of the bigger teams, certainly in the Champions League,
06:10to drop points themselves.
06:12But their focus tomorrow will just be getting three points against the Frankfurt side, who
06:18sit 33rd in the Champions League table, have no chance of qualifying through to the last
06:2416.
06:24I mean, they've had a really difficult season, their manager's been sacked recently, they're
06:29due to announce a replacement, perhaps after the game tomorrow night against Tottenham Hotspur.
06:35So, for Thomas Frank, the focus is simple, three points in Frankfurt, and they'll be riding
06:40through to the last 16 of the Champions League.
06:49Look, it's interesting, Tom, isn't it?
06:52Because it all feels very similar in certain aspects to last season under Ange Postacoglu,
06:58and the fact that their European form is going so well, but their league form is not.
07:05And, you know, you have to say they've done everything right in the Champions League this
07:09season, and that's certainly something that Thomas Frank will focussing on.
07:14The league form hasn't been good, 14th in the league table, two wins in the last 14th,
07:19and then the hope has continued to be quite dire.
07:22That goes back to last season, just four wins in the last 25 in the Premier League and the
07:28Champions League, they've been great at home, and they've been picking their points up.
07:32You have to say that's definitely amazing, Tom, to help us on this round.
07:37In terms of the pressure that's on you, but we know in the Spurs hierarchy they've got to
07:41give in time, they want to make changes, they want to have this project that they're working
07:46on, they want to make changes, they want to make changes to the players, and they want
07:51to make changes in the future.
07:52That's a nice thing, I think, that's it, that's it, that's it, that's it, that's it, that's it,
07:56I think that's his squad number, 19, 19.
08:10I'm trying to find them for you, Tom.
08:25Mickey Van Den can't really see him at the moment either.
08:29So there's a few players not out there.
08:31That doesn't mean they won't travel to Frankfurt.
08:34That's a good question, Dara.
09:00Actually, I've been covering Thomas Frank a lot from his time at Brentford,
09:06and also quite a few times this same happy-go-lucky chap that he built that reputation on at Brentford.
09:14I think if you asked every single journalist who covered multiple Premier League sides,
09:18certainly last season, the one person you enjoyed talking to more than any was always Thomas Frank.
09:24He was so open, so friendly, and we haven't seen that at Tottenham.
09:28It's felt like since he started the pressure was clearly there.
09:32It is a step up. We know that. He will know that too.
09:35But at times he's looked tired. He's looked worn out.
09:39He himself has said it's been affecting him.
09:42He's, you know, feeling this, feeling the heat.
09:45He knows what's going on. He knows he needs to turn it around.
09:49He's been a little bit, I would say, coy at times.
09:52I would say he keeps his cards closer to his chest than he ever did at Brentford.
09:56If I go back, Dara, to when Brennan Johnson was sold,
10:00it was very obvious that we knew the deal was agreed between Crystal Palace and Tottenham at the time,
10:06and he still wouldn't be drawn on it.
10:08He still would say that Brennan Johnson's in his plans and in his squad
10:11and then a day later he was sold.
10:13So it's those sort of moments that just shows a different side to Thomas Frank.
10:17But I would say Dara with Thomas Frank, he's a fighter and he believes in his own ability
10:21and he'll believe he'll be able to find a way of turning this around.
10:25Yeah, it's not ideal, I must admit.
10:38If you're looking to pick up points and you've won just twice in the last 14 in the Premier League
10:43and you look at February and go, right, there must be some breathing space in February.
10:47Well, that starts Super Sunday at home to Manchester City.
10:51It then moves on to Manchester United and then Newcastle United and Arsenal.
10:56Now, for most teams, John, three home fixtures out of four,
11:00they'd be quite happy with that.
11:02But because of how bad Tottenham's form's been at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,
11:06I don't think they'll prefer that.
11:08I think the fans, I think the players, I think everybody surrounding Tottenham
11:12would prefer those games to be away from home
11:14because that's where they've had their success in the league this season.
11:17But it doesn't get tougher than that.
11:19And you do fear, look, there's been so much noise surrounding Thomas Frank's future,
11:25particularly after the defeat to West Ham.
11:28What, a week and a half ago now, and obviously backed up.
11:31They got the picture against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League
11:34but then could only pick up a point through Christian Romero's last-minute equaliser
11:39against relegation battle in Burnley.
11:42If those games in February don't go well, first of all, you fear for Thomas Frank's future.
11:48Secondly, you fear where that's going to drag Tottenham in terms of the relegation battle to.
11:54First of all, you have to do a battle too.
11:55First of all, you have to go down, lift up, lift up.
12:00Work two on the right, two on the left.
12:02Down, lift up.
12:03Great.
12:04Then, walk two, one, one, three, two, one, one, three, two, one.
12:06Come on.
12:07Go from there, go behind, kick up.
12:09There we go.
12:10Work your two.
12:11Two right, two left.
12:13Perfect, relax.
12:15Good intensity there, work your shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle.
12:18Put your push up, let's go, jip, jip, jip, jip.
12:20Good, ready.
12:21Work your feet forward, back, forward back.
12:23You're going to jump, jip, jip, jip, jip.
12:25Breathe.
12:26Same again.
12:27Quick, quick, quick, quick.
12:29Another break.
12:30Yep.
12:31Pull it back, you're seen, you're seen.
12:33That was good.
12:34Good last couple, you're up there, both back.
12:36Let's go up.
12:37You're on the back, everybody.
12:38You're on the back.
12:39Let's go up.
12:41Good last couple.
12:42Good last couple, everybody.
12:43Good last couple, everybody.
12:44Good last couple.
12:45Good last couple, everyone.
12:46Good last couple.
12:47.
13:16Yeah, got you, Tom. Sorry.
13:17Yeah, look, just quickly on one thing.
13:19We have spotted Christian Romero.
13:21He is out there now.
13:22So, fear not talking about your captain is around, is available.
13:27Look, the plan is at the moment, as soon as the time's up,
13:30we'll be asked to step away.
13:32They'll probably ramp up their preparation now for Frankfurt
13:35before flying across.
13:37We'll be hearing from Thomas Frank in his pre-match press conference.
13:41While he's in Frankfurt, we have our reporter, Jamie Weir,
13:44heading out there for us.
13:46And then it will be all guns blazing ready for tomorrow night.
13:49And this is where, I guess, the Champions League gets quite excited,
13:52doesn't it?
13:53This new league phase where everybody kicks off at the same time
13:56and the permutations will be confirmed.
13:58Who makes it through automatically to the last 16
14:01and who has to go through the dreaded playoffs.
14:04But for Thomas Frank and Tottenham, they'll be hoping a win in Frankfurt
14:08will send them automatically into the last 16 of the Champions League,
14:11which will be some achievement for his side.
14:14Brilliant, thanks, mate.
14:26Alright.
14:39Right.
