Nvidia invested $2B in CoreWeave to help scale more than 5GW of AI data center capacity by 2030, sending CoreWeave shares sharply higher.

00:03NVIDIA said Monday it invested $2 billion in CoreWeave to support the data center company's plan
00:08to add more than 5 gigawatts of AI computing capacity by 2030, according to TechCrunch.
00:15The chip giant bought CoreWeave Class A shares at $87.20 per share
00:21and said the companies will jointly build AI-focused data centers using NVIDIA products.
00:27CoreWeave will integrate NVIDIA's Rubin chip architecture,
00:30Bluefield storage systems, and Vira CPUs across its platform.
00:35NVIDIA will also help CoreWeave secure land and power for data centers
00:39and align its software and architecture with NVIDIA's reference designs.
00:43CoreWeave reported $18.81 billion in debt obligations as of September 2025
00:49and posted $1.36 billion in third-quarter revenue.
00:53CoreWeave shares rose more than 15% after the announcement.
