00:00Ukraine vaporizes four refineries in eight-day deep-strike blitz.
00:05Between December 6th and 14th, 2025, Ukrainian drones struck deep into Russia, igniting refineries
00:12and testing Moscow's air defense networks. The offensive penetrated hundreds of kilometers
00:17into Russian territory and targeted refineries in Rizayn Yaroslavl, Saratov, and Krasnodar Krai.
00:24Fires and production suspensions followed, marking one of the most sustained Ukrainian
00:28assaults on Russian energy infrastructure since the conflict began. On December 6th,
00:34Ukrainian drones hit the Rizayn oil refinery, damaging a low-temperature isomerization unit.
00:40On December 12th, drones hit Slavneft, Janos, and Yaroslavl, damaging roughly one-third of its
00:4515 million ton capacity and prompting a suspension. On December 13th and 14th, strikes hit the Saratov
00:53refinery and the 6.25 million ton Afipsky refinery, causing explosions, fires, and infrastructure
01:00damage. Casualties in Saratov remained unconfirmed. Beyond energy sites, Ukrainian forces struck Russian
01:08military infrastructure in occupied territories in Crimea. Attacks damaged two command posts of the
01:1476th Air Assault Division in Donetskoblast and electronic warfare stations. Drones also hit
01:20Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile batteries and 96L6E radar stations, components of Russia's S-300 and S-400
01:29air defense networks. This systematic targeting seeks to create gaps in coverage and facilitate future
01:36operations. The refinery strikes created immediate supply pressures as facilities halted operations or cut
01:42output. Cizrin, which hit December 5th with damage to a unit accounting for 70% of capacity,
01:49stayed offline through late December. Slavneft, Janos' suspension removed substantial diesel and
01:55gasoline from Russian supply networks. Moscow mobilized spare refining capacity and imports,
02:00reallocated air defenses, declared emergencies, and rerouted fuel, but simultaneous disruptions strained
02:06distribution and forced reliance on backup depots. The campaign underscores the expanding
02:12role of long-range unmanned systems in contemporary conflict. Ukrainian drones reach targets exceeding
02:19700 kilometers from the border, striking heavily defended strategic infrastructure. The strikes impose
02:25immediate and longer-term costs. Moscow can partly offset losses, but sustained attacks create
02:31persistent logistical pressures. Repairs require extended timelines, and evolving long-range drone
02:39capabilities are reshaping protection, resource allocation, and operational planning.
