00:00In the Dominican Republic, a massive, solidified demonstration with Venezuela was held, demanding
00:05the freedom of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Silvia Flores.
00:09During the event, the importance of national sovereignty and the rejection of foreign intervention
00:13was emphasized, demanding justice and support for the struggle for self-determination of
00:19the region.
00:20In this sense, attendees demanded the immediate termination of military agreements with the
00:23United States, arguing that these alliances compromised national sovereignty and used
00:28the Dominican Republic as a spearhead against the peoples of Latin America.
00:32In this context, participants also expressed their support for Venezuela through slogans
00:37and banners in Simón Bolívar Square, rejecting the kidnapping of the constitutional president
00:42of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

00:51We have said that the actual government has degraded the Dominican Republic to the status
01:03of a colony, an agreement has been signed that allows the United States military and government
01:12to use military bases and other infrastructure in the country to enforce agreements.
01:20Many drug traffickers within the ruling party have been denounced.
01:25We want, to once again, demand the official termination of these agreements that turn the Dominican Republic
01:40into a military base, for attacking Venezuela, for attacking Cuba, for attacking Mexico, Colombia,
01:52all Latin American peoples, and also, we subscribe to the message, that the Caribbean and Latin America,
02:02are zones of peace.
