00:00The entire passenger fleet of Zamboanga City-based Allison shipping lines has been grounded.
00:06This as investigators probed the sinking of one of its vessels, the MV Trisha Kirstin III, off Balok Balok Island, Basilan, a day earlier.
00:14The move follows Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez's discovery that Allison had been involved in 32 maritime incidents over the past seven years.
00:22So I'm asking Marina, what did we do for the last how many years?
00:28Nasaan ang mga report? Ano ba yung pagkukulang natin?
00:32He also directs the Maritime Industry Authority and the PCG to conduct a maritime safety audit of Allison and its crew within 10 days.
00:40Lopez adds, the DOTR will hold those responsible to account, including government officials and the ship owner, if the probe finds them at fault.
00:48Pagdating po sa maritime safety, that is not negotiable. That is not optional.
00:58And yung sinasabi nating business considerations, that is only secondary.
