00:31Today, Mr. Wedding entered a not guilty plea to both indictments that he's been charged with.
00:37The indictments are not evidence. They're just an accusation.
00:42He didn't surrender. He was apprehended. He was arrested.
00:45And so any spin that the government in Mexico is putting on this that he surrendered is inaccurate.

01:12He was arrested in Mexico City on Thursday.
01:15Prosecutors accused him of directing the murder of a federal witness in Colombia last year
01:19before he could testify against Wedding.
01:21He is also accused of directing two murders and an attempted killing in Ontario in 2023
01:27and another murder in Canada in 2024 over drug debts.
01:31If convicted of the most serious charges, he could face a sentence of life in prison.
