00:00Okay, who wants to get us underway?
00:25I think it says what we already know. He's a player with special abilities, special talent.
00:46He's been ill and every time he's been on the pitch so far with me, I think he's been outstanding.
00:54But I feel if you watch that goal, what makes me so happy is all 11 men are back behind the ball.
00:59That's why he gets the space. I don't want to talk too much about individuals.
01:03I thought it was a top team performance away from home from João Pedro pressing, Pedro Neto and Esteval from the front.
01:09The two midfield players, Andre Santos, tactically.
01:12And then the defenders had to defend really, really well against the presence of Mateta.
01:16So yeah, Esteval, so happy with him, but so happy with the whole team.
01:21First of all, congratulations on a really good performance. There was a nice moment there towards the end of the game,
01:27where you went over to the Chelsea family and you serenaded towards the end.
01:30Are you starting to feel a bit of a connection with them now?
01:33I hope so. I'm very happy to be here. It's a fantastic club with fantastic support.
01:38As I said, it's two way. I have to earn that. I'm aware of that.
01:43Not just me, my staff, the players, the team in our performances.
01:46And I hope over time they'll see that something good may happen here.
01:50But the reason I get that today was the hard work of everyone on the training pitch,
01:55the hard work of the players on the pitch. It's not about me.
01:57And hopefully I can, myself and the staff and the players, make them really happy in days to come.
02:02When you say it's a two-week thing, you're now in four after your first five games.
02:06Are you starting to feel like the players are understanding exactly what you want from them?
02:10I think today was a huge test. I changed the shape. I played. It's hard to explain.
02:15It's like a semi-four, semi-five at the back with Andre in between.
02:19For them to go and put on, from a tactical point of view, the performance that they did in two days,
02:26it makes me very pleased because pretty much 95% of the press and 95% of the positioning was absolutely perfect.
02:34So they're engaged. I think they're believing in what they're doing.
02:37But it's one game. We have to make sure that we're consistent in every game we play.
02:42Nizar?
02:43Liam, you say it's one game where it's four wins in five now for a year,
02:47and it's two wins back-to-back for the first time since November for Chelsea.
02:50So, are you relieved that it's gone so well? Because I guess in another circumstance, it might not have gone that well.
02:56Yeah, ifs and bats. I can't talk about what hasn't happened. I'm focused on the next game.
03:02I keep saying that you can't get carried away. And there's still things that we really need to correct quickly.
03:08I think it's a foul, the goal that we can see, but it's another goal from a set player. I was not happy with our last ten minutes.
03:14I felt we should have gone on to dominate the game further in that moment. But I'm not thinking about being relieved or how I'm feeling.
03:21I'm just focused on the job. That's really, really important. And we've got another huge game on Wednesday.
03:26Peter?
03:27Can I just ask about Andre's hand? It looked like he was landmarked and recognized and dropping the three, basically, at the back.
03:35I think it's not quite a bit of a part of the season. I've got one part in that regard.
03:38Are you happy with me, firstly about Andre and then give that up, but then just generally the players are adapting to this?
03:46Yeah, amazing. I'm lucky with Andre because he's done it for me before. He's done that same position against Marseille and PSG last year.
03:53But for the other players to take on board the information, that's a different shape. They've never played that shape before.
03:59I thought the front three were magnificent in their understanding and the angles of press.
04:03I felt Enzo and Moy in midfield. The view of having Andre there allowed Moy to stay in the middle of the pitch, where I love him to be, and him and Enzo were top.
04:11I'm very happy because they put into practice what we asked of them on a training pitch, and that's a really good sign.
04:18It's going to take time. Football's a game of mistakes. It's going to take time. Some of our play, especially in the second half, was magnificent through the lines.
04:35And our understanding of the build will improve with the repetition. But like I say, we want to improve, but we want to win now. And that has to be the focus on Wednesday.
04:45I think there's many aspects. Firstly, off the pitch. I know his family are here with him. I know the club have worked really, really hard for him to settle.
05:06I also know that Andre Santos and João Pedro have helped him, especially settle into this country.
05:11In terms of on the pitch, with an 18-year-old with a talent like his, you have to manage his minutes.
05:17You have to manage the games that you think are the right moments for him to have an impact.
05:21And I'll keep doing that because I want him to have an outstanding season. I want him to have an outstanding career as well.
05:27We'll finish with a question in the back.
05:42No, no, no, no. This team played great football before me. They played similar passages played before me.
05:50I'd like to see that type of football. I like to see combination play. I thought the two goals were great, team goals.
05:58I like to see a change of speed, but I also like intensity and hard work. And I was really, really pleased with those aspects.
06:03It's not about it being my team, a Liam Rossini team. It's about being a winning team.
06:08And I was really, really happy with the performance today.
06:11OK, thanks, guys.
