00:00Hello everyone, Curly-Chan here. This is week 11 of the European LCS and I'm here now with
00:20N-rated from SK Gaming. You won against Fnatic a while ago, first place now is yours. First
00:29question I want to ask is about the banning phase. You targeted Cyanide instead of PK which
00:34most teams do. Why was that? We felt like there was a good point of pressuring them with the picks
00:39because Cyanide is very limited in what he plays right now and we just felt that if we get him out
00:44of his comfort zone and we ban a bit towards them we might as well just draw a ban which we did in
00:49the end with Kha'Zix. Tell me about the game from your perspective. How did it go? Well at the start
00:55we're kind of shaky. I think we should have we lane swapped and they predicted it which was good
01:00from their side but I felt like we would have had like a little bit more influence if we had Yves
01:05on top lane just early on like one or two times the pressure but I felt like the early game was okay.
01:11We couldn't have guessed the camp on top lane as well when they were waiting in the brush.
01:15I feel like at up to a certain point we were playing good enough to handle it over the early
01:21because our comp would outscale them at a certain point. So we've seen a lot of lane swaps in the
01:26recent weeks since the 4.4 patch. Are you happy with those? Do you prefer to stay on bot lane?
01:34Well everyone prefers to stay on bot lane because Drake is there so you have objective advantage and
01:39the bot tower just falls a lot earlier but I feel there are a lot of like strategical points where
01:44you can say okay we want an early invade on the blue, we want blue half control in general against
01:49certain mid champs or there's just a lot of things you can do by lane swapping and because it's not
01:54so obvious because it's actually huge investment because the top tower will fall later I feel like
02:00a lot of teams are like not considering it in the first place so once you're able to like plan around
02:06that and say you lane swap and you kind of know that they won't I feel like you can gain advantage
02:11by that and picking like weaker matchups and still going ahead in laning phase. Last week in an interview
02:17Candy mentioned that the new meta champs didn't work very well for you for the team as a whole is that
02:23why you lost a couple of games in the recent weeks? Well we had a rough time adapting to the patch because
02:30our play style was just very settled and we felt like our champs bit cut out of favor and we just had to
02:37find our style again and somehow managed to yeah to adapt to the to the to the meta again and just
02:45handle the patch in a new and I feel like right now we figured out what's op how we prioritize and
02:51that's the main thing we have we had to do and right now we're back on track and I feel the next games
02:55are going good as well. One of the things you used to utilize was the Annie and Pantheon combo and now we've
03:02seen a bit of changes about Annie uh do you still think about her as a viable choice? Right now before
03:09Annie was rather like a non-situational pick it just it was a common pick everyone picked it and it was
03:14like very versatile and no matter what you could have just picked her in basically any matchup and right
03:19now she got out of favor because a lot of matchups are bad for like Karma or Leona you basically are not
03:24able to lane versus them which is already a really bad sign so that's why she fell off out of favor but if
03:30there's a matchup where I can see an enemy picks certain support I just pick Annie into it because
03:34I feel comfortable with it but right now I wouldn't consider her just a versatile support that everyone
03:39picks just every game. So you secured your place in the playoffs and there you're gonna play in the
03:45best of three system do you think that will favor you? Right now we don't even know where we stand in
03:50the playoffs if we end up first or second we might only play semis and we're already qualified for next
03:54LCS split but right now it depends on our opponent because everyone is like kind of the same
04:00like skill level in Europe it's very clutch and I feel like it depends on our opponent and especially
04:06on our matchup and play style that we pull out against them and of course on their preparation as well
04:11I feel like we have good chances against anyone in Europe right now we just need to play our game and
04:15get the picks that we won. So the split is over almost over now looking back how would you rate your
04:23performance and do you feel you have improved? I feel like from the first weeks to now is a really
04:28huge step I feel I've improved a lot and as a team we have definitely like a different team if you
04:34compare us to the first weeks I feel that a lot of teams right now have improved as well and if you look at
04:41the Lions for example they're really in a hot streak right now even though they're lost versus Fnatic
04:47we just have to keep on doing what we're doing and improve by just steadily like going for what we
04:52what we're going for and keep practicing and we just slowly but surely even grow closer together and
04:58I feel that's going to help us in the end. The rest of your games this week are against Superhot Crew,
05:03Wolves and Millennium, care to make any predictions about those? I don't know but we are aiming to
05:09win at least two of them so we can secure first or second place. Okay anything you want to say to
05:16the fans, sponsors, anything? Well I would just like to thank everyone that was supporting us even
05:21though we got a lot of hate recently I feel like everyone that supports us and that helps us doing
05:26what we're doing right now is just a huge support and basically we're living the dream right now so
05:32I really want to continue to do that and everyone that is making me do that is just a warm welcome.
05:39Thank you. Thank you very much for the interview best of luck in securing that first or second spot.
