00:00I definitely invented Y2K fashion.
00:02She walked so all of us could run.
00:04Ahead of Paris Hilton's Infinite Icon movie premiere,
00:07I scampered over to the pink carpeteer from the queen of all icons,
00:11though she's inspired over her lifelong career.
00:13As a woman with that talk proudly tattooed on my leg,
00:16you can only imagine how excited I was to sing Stars Are Blinds with my fellow Slivings dance.
00:22Wow. Oh, this means something to you.
00:25Have you done your interview about Paris?
00:27Do you have a Paris Hilton tattoo?
00:30The most iconic trend, I would have to say, would be in the 2000s.
00:39Y2K?
00:40I definitely invented Y2K fashion.
00:42You're thinking of her wearing the Dior with the Von Dutch, and it's all mixed together.
00:47The whole color of pink is Paris Hilton, so I don't really know how you can beat that.
00:52Purr.
00:53We had to do pink for the princess.
00:55The best trend she started is her perfumes.
00:58I love her perfume.
01:00I have every single one.
01:01She's been making perfume for over 20 years.
01:03Understanding the power of building a personal brand and doing, you know, what people are doing now, but many years ago.
01:11And always being ahead of my time.
01:13Paris was the OG influencer.
01:14She came first.
01:15She walked so all of us could run.
01:16Just showing that you can be unapologetic and shine and sparkle, and you don't have to live inside a box.
01:23You can make your own box.
01:24She really started all of them.
01:26That's hot is the most iconic phrase Paris has ever said.
01:30It's got to be, that's hot.
01:34That's hot.
01:35I have a lot of phrases I love, but that's hot is just like the original.
01:41It's iconic.
01:42I love it.
01:42If a meal is good, that's hot.
01:44If you look good, of course, that's hot.
01:46But it could just like really apply to anything.
01:48But everything she says is iconic.
01:50That's hot, for sure.
01:51Easy.
01:51We love her so much.
01:53She has two.
01:54One is that's hot, and the other is sliving.
01:58Sliving.
01:59And sliving because it's a lifestyle and a movement.
02:02That's how I live my life.
02:03Paris!
02:04Paris!
02:05Paris!
02:06Paris!
02:06Probably making a sausage of myself on TV and probably crying.
02:10I feel like that's iconic sometimes.
02:12Yeah, I'm not very good at it.
02:13I think people recognizing an era that in that moment wasn't loved.
02:21Some of the outfits I'd wear would be judged so harshly.
02:26Now this generation loves what I wore.
02:29For people to go, oh my god, I remember you wearing this outfit, and I loved it.
02:34I loved those bell bottoms you had on and the little crop top.
02:39And it just, that to me is really cool.
02:41Oh my god, there have been a lot of viral James Charles moments online.
02:46I think my most recent one has got to be Coca-Cola Hello!
02:49Came out of literally nowhere.
02:51It's just one of those moments that somebody happened to be recording, and it turned into
02:54a cultural moment.
02:57Whether you love it or hate it.
02:58I wore a toilet to a red carpet one time.
03:01Being here today for my new film, Infinite Icon, my premiere, and that it's going to be
03:09in movie theaters all around the world January 30th, like that is iconic.
03:13I wish everybody knew how amazing of a businesswoman she is, how good of a friend she is, how well
03:19she communicates.
03:20But you know what?
03:21That might only be with me.
03:22Just watching Simple Life, that I was like, oh my lord, this is the greatest TV show of
03:28all time.
03:28Happy where I am today, if it were not for people like her, literally being able to make
03:32a career out of being hot, being present, being famous, doing fun things, trolling a
03:37little bit, running around with a paparazzi.
03:39I've just seen the evolution of Paris, and she's such an inspiration to all, honestly.
03:44And she's still the coolest person on earth.
03:47Been such an open book in the past years, since my first documentary and my memoir, and
03:53now people are going to see an even deeper side.
03:55So I hope they can see, just especially my fans, just how much I love them and how much
04:02their love and support has gotten me through so much in life.
04:05She contains multitudes.
04:06She's not just one thing.
04:07She's a real icon.
