Thousands of people protested against US President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown in Minneapolis on Friday, after a five-year-old boy and his father were detained by ICE agents.

00:00Thousands of citizens took to the cold and icy streets of Minneapolis on Friday to protest against U.S. President Donald Trump's ongoing crackdown on immigration.
00:13In a day of coordinated action across Minnesota, hundreds of businesses shut their doors to defy the weeks-long federal immigration operation underway across the state,
00:26where an ICE agent shot and killed a U.S. citizen earlier this month.
00:33The protesters were further energized after five-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was detained along with his father on Tuesday.
00:41He has one of at least four children to have been detained in the same area this month, the administrator said.
00:49Minnesota has sought a temporary restraining order for the ICE operation in the state, which, if granted by a federal judge, would pause the operations.
