19:49Honestly, I've learned to put these boundaries up.
19:54Me holding on to those boundaries have let me be happier and more centered.
19:59The main thing that I struggled with drag, I found that I put blue first and she was this beautiful
20:08creature that I turned into and was the only time that I was confident in my body.
20:12Body image has always been something that I've struggled with.
20:14But then I found drag and I just thought, the only thing that makes me happy is being this
20:20woman.
20:22And that then led me to be confused about my gender.
20:25I was so happy as blue that I was, there was this like gender, like dysphoria, I suppose.
20:32Back in my early career out there, I was working six nights a week and I was in drag for most
20:37of the day.
20:38And then like people would give me more attention and I'd be like, is this what people want?
20:42Is this the voice I've been suppressing all this time?
20:46I've been there myself and it was such a struggle for me because it was just all people wanted
20:53was this person, this drag.
20:57It's a constant battle to find your true self.
21:00For the first like half of my drag career, we would go and work and we would be like this
21:05fabulous drag queen.
21:07And you go back to your hotel room and you're sitting alone and I've had to shift the way
21:13that I perceived things because it's almost like this is the same painting.
21:17It's just a different angle that we're looking at it from.
21:20At one point I even thought I was trans.
21:22So for a long time, I just didn't understand what was wrong with me, why I wasn't happy with
21:29myself.
21:29But there was nothing ever wrong with you.
21:31Yeah, there was nothing wrong.
21:33I wasn't sure what gender I was.
21:35I wanted to be maybe trans.
21:36And I had the support of my partner.
21:38No one else knows about this.
21:39I was completely keeping it secret.
21:42A lot of things were floating about in my mind for those few years about my gender because
21:46I didn't feel like a male or a woman.
21:48In Northern Ireland, it's so far backwards that you don't learn about these things.
21:52For me, it was people on the show that finding themselves and being on the show with people
21:57like Davina, who was so well educated, made me realize like gender is such a spectrum.
22:02I don't know where I fall on it, but I know that I'm not male or female.

22:11I suppose the thing that I have learned through this whole process, all these things that you
