00:00The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence successfully dismantled the terrorist network in Tehran where at least 16 people involved in criminal riots were arrested.
00:09The agency reported that the operation was carried out in the last 24 hours in cooperation with Tehran Intelligence and the Security Department.
00:19The authorities emphasized that during the operation, eight of those arrested were the main perpetrators of the attacks on security targets and the burning of government and private vehicles.
00:32Iranian intelligence also reported the seizure of military weapons, drugs and alcoholic beverages.
00:38The Iranian government has denounced as false the United States' accusations of executions during the protests.
00:50The Iranian prosecutor's office said that the U.S. president's statements about stopping the execution of 800 people was completely false.
00:59It explained also that no such figure exists and that the judiciary has not made any decision in this regard.
01:06The agency emphasized that it operates independently and does not away orders from foreign governments.
01:13This came after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened a military invasion of the Persian nation.
01:23And for its part, the Iranian foreign ministry stated that the resolution issued by the European Parliament on human rights violations in Iran contains incorrect allegations and unfounded statements.
01:36Tehran assured that the European Congress has not made a statement in favor of Palestine and international law despite the violations and crimes committed by Israel.
01:48Meanwhile, this resolution only reflects the flagrant contradictions that deprive the European Parliament of credibility in its statements related to human rights.
