02:19Outside, we already tore down the old outhouse, built the new one.

02:52On the inside of Noah's cabin, we've already insulated the new picture window and replaced both of the doors downstairs.
02:57This week, we're going to update the kitchen with new countertops, as well as refreshing the inside bathroom with new flooring and a new door.

03:07Our plan this week is to build brand new bunk beds with privacy shields and create a more warm and welcoming sleeping space for the family.

04:10Yeah, here in the bathroom, we're just trying to touch things up a little bit, make it a little more cozier.

11:49I'm going to pull the nails and reinstall everything.
11:52So I've got all the V match back on the wall.
11:55Now I'm just using the old trim, milling it to fit the new window,
11:59which is a little bit smaller than the existing window.
12:01And we're going to use all the old trim pieces to put it back on.
12:04Since the top trim people have signed since the 90s.
12:07So we're going to reuse that.
12:09I mean, I could have had someone help me, but it was a lot of deciphering.

20:47I bought this solar ray Jared for my tent so I could have some lights instead of
20:56hauling at home I figured we set the lights up in the outhouse yeah I've got
21:00four panels battery maintainer and a bunch of lights if you want we can put this in
21:05and hook everything up cool yeah let's let's do it let's shed a light on this
21:10kid I've bought a couple of these small solar arrays before they're just real
21:15convenient to have because you can have lights you can charge batteries it's all
21:20pretty much plug and go it all has ends on it so you just basically plug
21:25everything in it has a battery minder you just plug it into the battery minder and
21:29alligator clip your negative terminal and your positive terminal and you got power
21:33because you really kind of want to be chasing the sun either that or we can
21:37put them right up I mean they all fit right up here in the corner so I'm
21:40starting over here it's gonna get oh the noontime one o'clock before it leaves
21:46cords long enough to come right up here yeah yeah so maybe we just stack them
21:51right in here yeah and then they're kind of out of the way on a cord back in yeah we
21:56can run I got one extension cord that will get us up to here let's see we run
22:00with technology nowadays is just really surpassing the whole off-grid camping you
22:05can pretty much equip yourself so you can stay on grid no matter how deep into the
22:09woods you go it's charging battery's got 14.4 volts last thing to do shut the
22:18doors and get on out of here yeah

22:38hold as many canoes as we can we're gonna go a-frame bend a-frame bend tie them

22:57a couple different times just a basic trust and just a basic trust we had a
23:03bunch of pressure treated six by sixes and two by fours left over chase and I
23:07had decided that we were gonna basically make two a-frames out of the six
23:11six by sixes and then we're gonna lock it all together with the pressure treated
23:16two by fours put a couple braces just a little pieces in there then stand them
23:23we'll take a look at it where does he want the canoe rack oh I was gonna put it
23:31down he had over there you probably want it so you can't see it from the road
23:34right I would say yeah probably okay do you want to carry it over where it's gonna
23:38go okay you ready oh looking good I know we're almost done with the kitchen and

26:46Noah also mentioned that his boys are into archery and they would love a safe area where they could
26:51shoot their bows and arrows and we had a couple of tires that sidewalls are slashed they were no good
26:57Jedi had a great idea of turning that into a target
27:00our face is not gonna be on this target either are they never so we have these blown out tires
27:10they're not old we've just have been going through tires like crazy on the trip so instead of hauling
27:17them out of here Jared and I came up with the idea that we were gonna just fill it with the rigid foam
27:22insulation maybe put some plywood or some boards on the back and then we can hang the target on the
27:27front and we'll have something clean to shoot at this trip has eaten tires on both ends our subs and
27:34ourselves basically had a bunch of rigid foam left over and we cut the backside of the tire out stuffed
27:40it right full of foam we were able to utilize what we had on hand and put some wood on the back and we
27:45were able to make a kind of like an easel type of target out of it all my bug stickers came the green
27:51stickers it's there like a citronella smell which is supposed to help where's my bug bag with the bugs
27:56Heidi must have grabbed this stuff what did you get we got our delivery what color is that for oh this
28:03is for my other bug thing I ordered this ball thinking that it was gonna be blue and then I
28:08was gonna apply the goo well the ball came black so I ordered some blue paint same idea you paint the
28:14ball the bugs are attracted to that ball then you put view on it and you just kind of hang it in a
28:19common area and all the horse flies will go to that instead of here I even have some rope inside
28:24give me one minute you've got this project by yourself in one second yeah totally that's code
28:29for uh she abandoned you she I'm not painting these right oh yeah no stop no you are you're done but

29:39$20 sticker that my wife bought 50 of that's supposed to keep the mosquitoes away but I don't
29:44know if you just roll the footage back two seconds see all the bugs above me
29:46so this was already naturally here Chase you just cleaned it up yeah sweet that area for the kids
29:55is absolutely perfect this family is gonna be so excited this is like the coolest love that it's
30:01hidden so that then we can surprise them with it because they are going to freak out it's the middle

30:20I hit the target the idea to make the target out of an old tire that he busted and then with some
30:26extra insulation board that they had lying around and then the extra wood it's such a great idea

30:44that still needs to be moved in I cleared all the vehicles out so that we can pull it out of the

38:57touch with the red hats for the cabin masters to still have a touch of the old camp and bringing
39:11in the new and it's just amazing we had two weeks and forty thousand dollars we had a lot of fun up
