00:05has told a court he believed he was arrested over anti-ULES posts he made on Facebook.
00:11Kevin Rees, aged 63, was arrested by counter-terror police after a low-sophistication
00:17improvised explosive device damaged the camera in Willesley Avenue, south-east London, in December
00:232023. Rees told Woolwich Crown Court he had no involvement and thought he was being detained
00:30because of his participation in anti-ULES Facebook groups. Rees denied one count of causing an
00:37explosion likely to endanger life or cause serious injury to property and three counts of possessing
00:42prohibited weapons.
