00:00Former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV together with the Civil Society Organization filed a new set
00:06of plunder and graft complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte. This over her alleged
00:11misuse of confidential funds during her time as Secretary of the Department of Education
00:15and as Mayor of Davao City. Trillanes and the silent majority filed a complaint with the
00:20Office of the Ombudsman on Wednesday, January 21. Aside from plunder and graft, bribery and
00:25corruption charges were also filed against Duterte for allegedly receiving funds from
00:29personalities linked to the illegal drug trade. The complaint also mentions the Vice President's
00:34threats in 2024 to have President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. assassinated. This is the second set of
00:40complaints against the Vice President. In December 2025, Father Flavie Villanueva led the filing of
00:45another confidential funds-related complaint against Duterte.
