00:00In today's episode, we are diving into a topic that explores two very different parenting steins.
00:14I want to see my experiences and make a little bit of help from teachers.
00:21This absolute thing doesn't work.
00:23If I need to be patient, I need to first see her point of view, then react rather than reacting first, expecting her to.
00:32So I think, yeah, a middle ground.
00:35With experience, being neither too straight nor too aloof and, you know, kind of becoming friends with children, winning their confidence.
00:49These are very small things.
00:50But they go a long way.
00:51They say, teachers, teachers are the second mothers is what I'm all in me saying.
00:57And I think, especially when I've seen my kids, after mine, the second approval that my kids look for are teachers.
01:03So that way, schools and parents, they have to work hand in hand.
01:07So you, for bringing the best out of each child.
01:11Because children today are pressurized.
01:14From all the size, so near that children leave the schools and they head straight towards the coaching classes.
01:21That is a societal pressure you are going through even today.
01:24And I will not deny, I do have my moments of doubt.
01:28You need a lot of courage to do that because using today's lingo, FOMO.
01:32You know, you must be going through that, you know.
01:36So I could be hands on, you know, or rather trying to tell them from my experiences on where they could go wrong.
01:45Yes.
01:45Then I leave it to them.
01:46And I think, give them space to make their own mistakes.
01:51And it's always good that they do things and experiment in front of you.
01:56Rather than, you know, hiding and doing it behind your back.
02:00I have seen at times even parents feeling a bit lost, you know.
02:04And I think that is where we have to equip ourselves with a lot of knowledge and information which is available all around us.
02:12So that children are at least confident that if I talk to my parent, I will get the right direction.
