Machado met with Cuban-American leaders on Capitol Hill to discuss community priorities, political engagement, and the future of U.S.-Cuba relations. The meeting brought together prominent members of the Cuban-American community, who voiced concerns over immigration, economic policy, and human rights issues in Cuba.

Machado emphasized the importance of strong representation for Cuban-American voices in Washington and pledged to advocate for policies that reflect the interests and values of the community. Leaders in attendance highlighted the need for continued collaboration between elected officials and the Cuban-American population to address challenges affecting both domestic and international issues.

The discussions also focused on potential legislation impacting immigration, economic development, and the enforcement of U.S. policies toward Cuba. 00:00that moves us is the force of love which is the most powerful possible so it's a huge honor to be
00:10here on behalf of the Venezuelan people and also our president-elect Edmundo González Urrutia to
00:17tell you first and foremost that Venezuela will be free and once we liberate Venezuela we will
00:27keep working and we will have a free Cuba and a free Nicaragua and as you were saying for the
00:33first time in history we have the Americas free of communism of dictatorship anarcho-terrorism this
00:41is historic moment there's still a lot of more work to be done this is not going to be an easy
00:49task but it's a task that must be accomplished we must must get this done we must have a free a
00:58democratic Venezuela because this hemisphere needs to be the hemisphere of freedom and democracy yes
01:06I hope to meet with the Venezuelan diaspora in several parts of the United States and the world
01:12but my main objective is to return to Venezuela as soon as possible I I had a mission that I have to
01:24accomplish that's why I decided to to get out of my country with all the the implications it had
01:32but I'm looking forward to go back as soon as possible in the administration the president and
01:38the secretary of the state have been very clear that there is a process of transition and that requires a number of different things
01:47the liberation of all the political prisoners without exception and start that process but that is very clear
01:54this is a process of transition that we want to be the most short possible but again
02:03garantizing that that that process avance now that it is clear that the future of Venezuela
02:11cannot be with the regime with that narcocartel in control the first step I think is a very important step
02:20but now in this process of transition that is very clear that we are convinced that this transition
02:32is already in the way but it has to culminate with all the steps with an election libre, supremacist
02:40Well in first place I thank you very much to Trump and his administration because as I said Mario
02:49he has done a step in the 3rd of January, he started a process with a criminal structure that has been
03:00cobring thousands and thousands and thousands of lives of Venezuelans but also of
03:04American citizens and other countries, United States and other countries so this is a process that is in
04:24van a volver a casa.
04:26Gracias.
04:27Gracias.
04:28Gracias.
04:29Gracias.
04:38Gracias.
04:39Gracias.
04:40Gracias.
04:41Gracias.
04:42Gracias.
04:43Gracias.
