00:19Rodríguez emphasized that mining has become a fundamental element in the growth of the
00:24gross domestic product, ranking as the second engine of the economy after hydrocarbons.
00:29The Acting President also assured that the nation's mineral wealth is intended exclusively
00:33to guarantee the well-being of the Venezuelan people and to protect national sovereignty
00:37from external interests.
00:46Also the Acting President of Venezuela, José Rodríguez, presented the balance sheet of growth
00:51in gold production and explained how these resources are allocated to the social and sports
00:55development of the nation.
