00:00Now as we head through the morning we see this weather front move into the southwest of England

00:04so it turns increasingly cloudy, wet and windy for Cornwall, Devon across Wales

00:08and then Northern Ireland into the early afternoon.

00:11Central and eastern areas over so much of Scotland, central and eastern England largely fine and dry.

00:16Now as we head through this evening and overnight tonight this whole band of cloud moves this way northwards

00:20and by midnight much of Northern England, Southern Scotland cloudy

00:24which is not welcome news for seeing the northern lights.

00:26So this is the forecast for the northern lights tonight.

00:30Not as strong as last night. Last night we had a G4 storm and it goes up to five

00:34so that's the highest, one of the highest we can get.

00:36But it's Northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland that we'll have a chance to see them.

00:40You need to head out, acclimatise your eyes for about 20 minutes and look towards the north.
