Scooter Braun is retiring from artist management after more than two decades. Braun, known for managing major music stars like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, says he will now focus instead on his role as a board member and CEO of the U.S. division of HYBE, the South Korean entertainment giant. He shared the news in a lengthy social media post, writing, "23 years. That's how long I have been a music manager ... Along the way I have had so many experiences I could never have dreamt of."

00:2023 years. That's how long I have been a music manager.
00:23Along the way, I've had so many experiences I could never have dreamt of.
00:27I've been blessed to have had a Forrest Gump-like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys
00:32of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen.
00:36I'm constantly pinching myself and asking, how did I get here?
00:39And after 23 years, this chapter as a music manager has come to an end.
00:43Braun rose to fame and acclaim with Bieber, who he helped discover.
00:46He helped to build Bieber's career and subsequently build a roster of A-list talent
00:50that included Grande, Jay Belvin, Demi Lovato, Dan and Shay, and many others.
00:55In his post, he gave special shout-outs to many of the artists that he's worked with over the years,
01:00including Bieber and Grande.

01:02Justin and Ariana were both teenagers when I began with them.
01:06Justin, a 13-year-old kid busking in Canada, and Ariana, a young actress on Nickelodeon.
01:11To see them both come up to be the legends they are today will forever be one of my greatest honors.
01:16As we change our working relationships now, I will continue to root for them
01:19with the same passion that I did at each of their humble beginnings.
