Il y a dressé un bilan optimiste de la politique économique de Donald Trump, évoquant un flux massif de capitaux et une productivité en plein essor grâce à une stabilité fiscale et énergétique. En rappellant que « L’Amérique d’abord ne signifie pas l’Amérique seule » il a salué le modèle économique helvétique avant d’annoncer la venue du président américain mercredi au Forum économique mondial.

00:39President Trump has ushered in an era of parallel prosperity, a decade of an economic expansion in which Main Street and Wall Street will grow together.
00:50It's been a busy year. The President has done tax deals, peace deals, and trade deals.
00:56And as we've seen with the start of this year, this year will not move any slower than last year.
01:05Over the past 12 months, our President has delivered a historic economic comeback.
01:11Capital is flowing, productivity is surging, and prices are easing.
01:15Trillions of dollars are flowing into the U.S.
01:18We have regulatory clarity, energy certainty, and tax certainty.
01:24We are making the U.S. the best place to come, build your business, grow your business, and hire American workers.
01:32The result is an economy that everyone benefits from and everyone wants to invest into.
01:38What we are seeing is what American leadership looks like.
01:44The number of people clamoring to get into the U.S. A House this year proves that maybe the best is yet to come, as the ambassador says.
01:55The prosperity is palpable in the U.S., and most of all, it is growth, and we are taking back our sovereignty.
02:06Our nation's first 250 years have laid the foundation for the next 250th.
02:12I'm here to spread the message that America first does not mean America alone.
02:19We invite friends and potential friends to follow the President's lead for global prosperity, peace, and a restored international order based on fair trade and balanced trade.
02:42So, with that, I want to say it's good to be back in Switzerland.
02:47I spent a lot of time here, and I think Switzerland is a great model for other economies, because those of you who will spend time here can see what a big, fat, prosperous, middle class looks like.
03:00And it is largely through the work of the Swiss government, Swiss industry, their pattern, or their programs of internships and apprenticeships, which they've kindly offered to share with the U.S. as part of the trade deal.
03:18So, we are looking forward to being partnered with Switzerland for many years to come.
03:23I'm looking forward to this week, and we're all looking forward to President Trump's arrival on Wednesday.
