00:00President Trump met with Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Machado on Thursday and he left
00:05that meeting with something he has been wanting for a long time, the Nobel Peace Prize. Confused?
00:11I don't blame you. Machado was presented with that award last December in Oslo. It is no secret
00:17that President Trump had been angling to be the recipient of that very prize for months. Machado
00:22had previously dedicated her award to Trump and told Sean Hannity last week that she would like
00:27to give it to him. The woman known as Venezuela's Iron Lady confirmed that she gifted her peace
00:33prize to our president, two reporters on Capitol Hill, where she met with congressional leaders
00:37following her White House visit. She said she gave it to Trump, quote, in recognition of his unique
00:43place with our freedom. Machado's meetings at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue came just hours after
00:48U.S. forces seized another Venezuelan oil tanker, the sixth such action since ramped up enforcement
00:55of oil sanctions began. The military said in a statement that the ship was, quote, operating
00:59in defiance of President Trump's established quarantine of sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean.
01:05The White House is working with Venezuela's interim government to handle sales of confiscated oil
01:10and has already sold 500 million bucks worth of it.
