European troops arrive in Greenland as Denmark moves to strengthen NATO presence, while U.S. President Donald Trump presses his claim on the Arctic island.

00:16but they carry political weight, coming a day after talks between the US, Denmark and Greenland failed to ease tensions.
00:23On Thursday, French troops have arrived in the capital of Nuuk, with Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Netherlands and also the UK involved.
00:33France says more land, air and sea assets will follow.
00:37US President Donald Trump continues to press his claim to Greenland, which is a semi-autonomous part of Denmark, and has not ruled out taking it by force.
00:46The White House said European troops in Greenland will not stop Trump from pursuing his goal to take the island.
00:52Denmark and Greenland have rejected Trump's threats, saying Greenland is not for sale.
