Reigning Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner reflected on a 'difficult' year after a three-month doping ban
Transcript
00:00Well, you know, last year was definitely a much more difficult situation.
00:07Because in this moment last year I didn't know exactly what's going to happen.
00:14So, you know, I tried still to enjoy it when you go out on the court,
00:23but you still have it in your head, kind of.
00:27So, it was difficult.
00:31I think everything happens for a reason and it got me even stronger as a person.
00:38It doesn't have taken away the player's part.
00:41The person I've become is much more mature in a way
00:47because I see things when they're not going in the right direction in different ways.
00:52And I surrounded myself with really, really good people.
00:56And I'm very happy with the people I have.
00:59So, that for me is the most important.
01:02And, you know, whatever comes on court, the result-wise, that's all an extra.
01:06And I'll see you next time.
01:09All an extra.
