11:01ellie and john i am from las vegas nevada we love mexican food down there i think i'm going to get
11:08this one ellie describe your dish to chef please i have a tequila braced pork tenderloin with a little
11:15fresno on top i like the citrus touch and the toston pork is a little bit dry for me
11:21a good flavor right john please a seared pork tenderloin with chili relleno and pickled peppers
11:31chili relleno is one of my favorite favorite things to eat so let's see no pressure let's see
11:39nice right uh chef does the point go to ellie or to john ellie i think this time the point is going
11:47to go to john wow sorry chef ellie you're not going to sneak one in on me today today is my day

12:02henry i'm coming for you buddy all right henry let's start with you first describe your dish to
12:07chef i did a uh cassava puree with charred endive and then for the uh prawn basted in a little bit of
12:13butter just kind of let the the prawn do the work so to speak i would say everything on point henry
12:21thank you chef henry well done right um please alexandra i've got a shrimp diablo with some
12:27charred endive on the bottom jicama matchsticks for a little bit of crunchy garnish
12:31it works i like your casva tortilla and i thought i was going to hate it and the shrimp is well cooked
12:40as well right chef the point to the blue team the red team i'm going to give it to both wow
12:45congratulations three for three henry hell of a job guys well done next is red snapper anaya and chris
12:53it's anaya's pepita crusted snapper with chayote relish um i don't know let's compare against chris's
13:02a pickled beet salad with mangoes with alexa seared snapper this the sauce is overpowering
13:10so i'm going to give the point to the red team wow thank you chef
13:14anaya viva la mexico with both teams back to even rhode island's karen marie looks to out
13:22duel iowa's anthony with her bisteca con limon the sopapilla is a little bit overpowering but i
13:29think i think it's a good balance yeah versus anthony's grilled flat iron with mole i like it i like
13:36the spiciness at the end yes so took the dishes chef i'm gonna give it to both wow you got your
13:43nations both you yeah the culinary gods came together for me today because i finally got a
13:51point and a challenge next chicken thighs let's go with the score still tied north carolina's sydney
13:58is looking to take down jaden from massachusetts with her chicken adobo with yellow squash rice
14:04and grilled nopales i think visually it looks attractive thank you chef no salt other than the
14:10um the chicken had a little bit of salt on it i was lacking a little bit of salt in the chicken
14:16really against jaden's anchovy chicken with anchovy chili oil i do have to say that i think the chicken
14:23was better cooked in jaden's and i think that's a point well seasoned great job giving the blue team
14:31a one point lead going into the final tasting right the battle of the skirt steak let's go jada
14:37versus lisa let's go lisa bring it home jada i am very nervous chef gabriella she's up there when it
14:45comes to mexican cuisine i have a lot of respect for this woman uh chef this is not your ordinary backyard
14:50carasadas it's a citrus guajiro marinade and then you have a chayote escabiche the corn flavor makes
14:58it you know sort of rounds up the meat i like the salsa i like the freshness of your garnish very well done
15:05jada yes describe this to chef please here we have a homemade flour tortilla that's now turned into a
15:10tostada on top is going to be a charred corn as well as a chayote relish i do think it's very well
15:18seasoned i like your salsa thank you chef i appreciate it well done both you thank you

33:18lisa check them and she said they were fine too but i'm the only one that's going to be held accountable
33:23i will say i did um fail um on a few things with garnish once i got back into it the thing i was getting it
33:32right everybody fixed their mistakes well i didn't have any it didn't hold back any tickets i think it
33:36it did raw chicken is a little bit scarier than some under salted potatoes and i fixed those potatoes
33:42i mean it's embarrassing when potatoes go up and they're not seasoned it's embarrassing that he had
33:47to call jada in there you know how that makes us look jada leaves and we crumble that's a problem
33:53it's a big problem anaya just she has the floor i mean she never doesn't have the floor even if an
33:59anaya doesn't have the floor she's taking the floor the teammate that's not here anymore obviously

36:56there was a lot of issues with having a lot of things come from garnish to the past
37:00and being sent back for not being seasoned properly and missing ingredients or having wrong ingredients

37:17sydney struggled with the cook on pork chops and some of the scallops tonight and that seemed to be
37:22the majority of the fish stations issue this evening chef blue team have you reached a consensus

37:37we felt that we were getting pulled up to the past for things like fries being wrong
37:41you know at this point in the competition we felt that was a minor thing we shouldn't be up chef

37:51we thought that there was an issue with that station definitely an issue with those pork chops

38:39sydney what happened i rushed my first scalps that got sent back i definitely was not confident in my
38:45scallops at all but i knew i needed to get food to the past so i didn't let everyone else die and i
38:50should have pushed back instead of sending them up i'm starting to doubt the confidence i've got in you
38:54because if that's what you try to push out and blindside me is that a reflection of you as a chef no
38:59chef it's not a reflection of me not by any means chef i learned from my mistakes and i'm a fighter

39:14undercooked the same dish what happened tonight with you um just truthfully now truthfully chef
39:21made a mental error in the very beginning reusing the wrong cheese and then uh from there chef i was
39:25spending a lot of time remaking garnishes for recooks and it just kind of made me wobbly chef
39:31tell me why she's staying hell's kitchen chef i'm a great leader i work hard again
39:35i've taken responsibility and i own up for mistakes that i've made ultimately chef i got behind
39:40and i hold myself accountable to that and i want to get better as a chef

39:51that i'm never going to drop again you know i learned from my mistakes and not only that you
