00:00Hello and welcome to episode 4 of the Traitors Uncloaked, your official visualized companion podcast with me, Ed Gamble.
00:07This show is a spoiler sensation, so if you haven't watched episode 4 of the Traitors yet, go and watch it now,
00:12and then come back to join us for more deception, drama, and druids.
00:16Coming up, we'll be discussing the shock reveal of the secret Traitors' identity.
00:21The latest player to be banished, Ross, is with us to dissect the surprise roundtable and the secret he's been keeping this whole time.
00:27Plus, we're about to have our first face-to-face murder, which I'm going to unpick in detail with superfans Angela Scanlon and Max Belegde,
00:35Series 1 Traitor Wilf, and Series 2 Faithful Turn Traitor Miles.
00:44We have to start with the biggest revelation of the series so far.
00:47Fiona is the secret Traitor. Your reactions to that?
00:52Little red riding water.
00:54With a little basket and everything.
00:56She's welcome.
00:58It is, of course, Fiona.
00:59I mean, I was willing it to be Fiona.
01:02From episode 1, I was like, please let it be Fiona.
01:06Did any of us suspect that it was Fiona?
01:08Angela, did you have any suspicions?
01:10I had, like, hopes that it would be Fiona, because she's so unassuming.
01:15I mean, obviously, everyone was like, oh, she's playing a good game, being a bit ditzy and kind of clueless,
01:20as if that was a pretense.
01:21But I thought, oh, that's actually quite an obvious kind of line to tread.
01:25But I just love her voice and her insight and how sweet she looks outside.
01:33And then she sits in that chair and she's like, they haven't seen me coming.
01:37She's like rubbing her hands together.
01:40She's a beast and I love her.
01:42I love it.
01:42Yeah.
01:42What about you, Max?
01:43Did you suspect?
01:44I suspected her when she was in the car and she brought up Rachel's name.
01:48Because up until that point, nobody had really suspected Rachel.
01:51And then out of nowhere, she brings it up.
01:53But she didn't try too hard.
01:54And I thought, you know something here, love.
01:56You know.
01:57And she did.
01:58Yeah.
01:58She did.
01:59I thought, to be honest, it was like, it was so obvious it could have been her,
02:02but it couldn't have been her.
02:03Yeah.
02:03She's so cute and so innocent looking.
02:05She's the perfect pick for it.
02:06She's perfect.
02:07Oh my God.
02:08And then she went so hard for Hugo, I thought, maybe she's not.
02:11I was watching it going, surely that it's not going to be another Welsh person.
02:16So many Welsh people.
02:18We've had Amanda.
02:20Amanda.
02:20We've had Andrew.
02:22And then we had Charlotte.
02:22We've had a fake Welsh traitor.
02:24And now another real Welsh traitor.
02:26And Hugo was Welsh as well.
02:27So this has done a lot to ruin the reputation for Welsh.
02:31Were there any clues that could have led us to Fiona?
02:34We've got the handwriting.
02:35Did anyone notice similarities with the handwriting, with the murder shortlist and the slates?
02:41That was one thing.
02:42Oh, I didn't even think of that.
02:43Well, I did think the handwriting was so good that a younger person might not have done that.
02:50You know what I mean?
02:50I just think like we use, like younger people use technology a lot.
02:53Speak for yourself.
02:54I've got a useful handwriting.
02:55But I was like, it's an older person.
02:58That was my initial thought.
02:59I definitely thought it was going to be a female.
03:01Yeah.
03:01It's going to be a female.
03:02Because she was going for the lads all the time.
03:03The men were on the chopping block for a long time.
03:06So it's like, yeah, it's going to be a good lady.
03:08So in episode one, on the way to the mission, I don't know if anyone else picked up on this.
03:13James says that no one in the car that he's in does he suspect to be a traitor.
03:17And Fiona's in that car and does a quiet little sort of smile out of the window.
03:22Just glances off.
03:23I missed that.
03:24Did you catch that?
03:24I did catch that.
03:25I did catch that.
03:26But I think Fiona always looks like she's like, got the sun shines a lollipop.
03:30So she's just looking around and just having a great old time.
03:33I think she's played it beautifully.
03:34She is.
03:35There was also, and I mentioned this on a previous episode of Uncloked, my biggest clue that Fiona
03:40was the secret traitor, the comment of saying, at home, I've got a red bather that's a thong.
03:46Your husband's not going to recognise you when you get home.
03:48You're doing all the text.
03:49How's it going to be?
03:49I'd be like Cindy Crawford.
03:52Be on their watch, ready for their watch.
03:54It will.
03:55Yeah, I will.
03:56I've got a little red bather, which is a thong.
04:00Oh, dear, Fiona.
04:02Don't think I need to know that.
04:04That, to me, is the biggest clue.
04:06Yeah, 100%.
04:07There's no way they're including that in the edit.
04:09It's not a huge clue.
04:11And she threw it in on purpose.
04:12She's like, I'm going to mention red and I'm going to do it.
04:15Give it a little one for me, Hobie and Hobie.
04:18Little wink.
04:18Love her.
04:19Husband's thinking, I've never seen that.
04:21That's not fair.
04:24She's all talk.
04:25As a former traitor, how do you rate her gameplay so far?
04:28It's 10 out of 10, isn't it?
04:29It's got to be 10 out of 10.
04:30As long as she tones it down at some point.
04:32It's just great.
04:33And it's entertaining.
04:34It's really entertaining to watch somebody who's fully in the role and just enjoying it.
04:38Like, obviously, I cried all the time.
04:39So it's like watching somebody who's just enjoying it and taking it as a game.
04:43It's nice to watch.
04:44Yes.
04:45And Max, as a super fan, this has obviously been our opportunity to play the game at home.
04:49Have you enjoyed that?
04:50Loved it.
04:51Because I was dissecting everybody's glances.
04:54Everybody, even the tone of their voice when they would say certain things.
04:57I found myself this season more than ever really paying attention.
05:00And it just kind of showed to me how hard it is as a job of being a faithful.
05:05Let's talk about Fiona's relationship with the other traitors now that she's revealed herself.
05:11It's a little icy in here.
05:14Look at you, Volta Knight Hugo.
05:16Do you know what?
05:17He messed up big time.
05:19So I had to go gun ho on him.
05:21Okay.
05:21It had to be done.
05:22I basically have done your job for you for the last few nights.
05:30She's already got the villain's laugh.
05:32She's phenomenal.
05:34Unbelievable.
05:35So brilliant.
05:36I think that that could be her biggest downfall is like Rachel actually said earlier in the show,
05:41no two traitors have ever won it together.
05:44So you've got to have your fellow traitors on side really to get to the end
05:47because they can throw you under the bus just as easily as you can throw them under the bus.
05:51Well, Miles, you know that more than anyone else.
05:54Take a minute's silence.
05:55Throw them under the bus.
05:56What do you make of the heightening tension in the turret?
05:58I think the thing is, I think Rachel is very much like she said,
06:01was the driving seat, kind of had Stephen under her thumb.
06:05And then Fiona's come along now with this kind of powerhouse,
06:08especially with the attitude.
06:09And so the alliances are kind of shattered
06:11because then Stephen's the kind of one in between the two ladies.
06:14And I think it depends on how it kind of falls.
06:16He just needs to let them fight out, doesn't he?
06:18Yeah, just don't get involved.
06:19But I think you do need your traitors.
06:22Your traitors need each other at certain points.
06:24And as soon as that kind of starts crumbling, as you saw.
06:27Especially this early in the game as well.
06:29It's very early.
06:30It feels like they need to stick together for a little bit.
06:31I mean, obviously, in series three, we saw a fairly united traitors turret.
06:36It feels like things are crumbling pretty quickly.
06:39But I think Hugo being chucked so quick
06:41has kind of made them all a little edgy maybe.
06:45I think Hugo was the kind of common enemy, wasn't he?
06:47He was like, he's not going to last.
06:49Easy time.
06:50He's not going to last.
06:51And the faithfuls were annoyed by him and so were the traitors.
06:53So you've got no chance, mate.
06:55Now, speaking of Fiona, as we have been for pretty much the whole episode,
06:58her take on the mission was rather relaxed.
07:01She could not care less.
07:05I love it so much.
07:06She's walking around.
07:07She's literally trolling him.
07:09What would you say then, Angela?
07:10If you was in that box.
07:11I'm about to die.
07:12I'd be like, Fiona, babes, love you.
07:14Love your pace.
07:15Generally enjoy the way you exist in the world.
07:19But get your arse in gear.
07:20You're not spreading an ankle.
07:21I'm not interested.
07:22The mission as a whole was quite a brutal display of allegiances
07:25because people had to pick the people they were protecting.
07:28Poor Sam.
07:30Poor Sam, completely alone.
07:32No one picked him.
07:33Apart from Rachel electing Amanda over fellow traitor Stephen,
07:37were there any other pairings that you found surprising?
07:40I think they were quite random, to be honest.
07:42From what we've seen, there weren't too many alliances that I could tell.
07:46Are we surprised that Sam was the one who was left out?
07:48No.
07:49No, I was.
07:50No, I wasn't.
07:52I think he gives that vibe.
07:53Yeah.
07:54I even thought he was a secret traitor for a while.
07:57Because he gives off that vibe, like, I'm playing the game by myself.
08:01Well, soon we'll be getting Ross's reaction to the secret traitor twist,
08:04which, unbeknownst to the faithful,
08:06has been controlling the castle since the start.
08:09But first, we finish this episode with traitors Rachel and Fiona
08:12having to put their differences aside
08:13and decide who to kill to take suspicion of fellow traitor Stephen.
08:18So their choices are Sam, Rhys and Maz.
08:22Protect Maz at all costs.
08:24What I love about Maz, he's clearly such a sweet man.
08:27Yeah.
08:28And when he finds out he's on this, you know, big shortlist or whatever,
08:31that he's one of the people who could be murdered,
08:34he's like, oh, this is awful to be on the murder shortlist.
08:37And you want to go, brother, you've been on that list every day.
08:40You've been dodging them day in day.
08:42If only you, Fiona has been whacking you on the shortlist every single day.
08:47Why? I don't understand Fiona's problem with that.
08:50He's so innocent.
08:51Yeah.
08:52But I liked how when he was in the cage,
08:55he's like, I was in the police force.
08:57This is whatever happens here is granted.
09:00Clearly, everyone is involved in the police force.
09:03Quite a lot.
09:04Maz needs to go.
09:06I'm really sorry.
09:07How dare you?
09:08Rhys already has suspicion on him.
09:10So you'd leave him in because they're going to banish him at some point anyway.
09:13Yeah.
09:13So you'd get, like, I'd get rid of Maz because people would be like,
09:16what's going on?
09:17Why would they get rid of Maz?
09:18It would just cause a bit more confusion.
09:20Then they'll look at Rhys a little bit.
09:21And Sam's got a lot of suspicion on him as well.
09:24Yeah.
09:24So I think that's really sad to say.
09:26I'm sorry.
09:26I love Maz as well, but see you later.
09:28Do we think murdering Sam takes the spotlight off Stephen at all?
09:31Because Sam led the Judy banishment charge
09:34and he's been a bit quiet ever since.
09:36Sam just acts like a traitor sometimes.
09:38Yeah.
09:39He kind of gives that traitor confidence, maybe.
09:42Not too much.
09:43But I think if he kind of calms it down and becomes a good faithful,
09:46I don't think he seems like he's got a good alliance with many other faithfuls.
09:49Still really handsome guy.
09:51Oh, Alex.
09:51Alex.
09:53Because everyone thought he looked like you, that's why.
09:56Oh, what?
09:56Did they?
09:57Sorry.
09:59I'm not on socials very often.
10:00Let's look at murdering Rhys as an option.
10:05Because it was neck and neck between him and Ross at the round table.
10:08He basically just got absolved of a lot of suspicion on him
10:11because he got so emotional.
10:12No, but the fact that Stephen saw that happen,
10:15as a traitor, I would then go,
10:16guys, this happened in the kitchen.
10:18Murder Rhys.
10:19You know, Harriet saw him crying
10:20and she was a big force in getting rid of Hugo.
10:22She no longer has any suspicion on him.
10:25It's kind of useless.
10:25We may as well get rid of him.
10:26Yeah, that's interesting.
10:27But, yeah, I suppose in that moment,
10:30Stephen is not deciding who to murder, of course,
10:33because he's locked in a cage.
10:35I mean, I'm gutted for Stephen
10:36because this feels like a huge mistake.
10:38Did anyone spot the particular slip-up at the round table?
10:42Let's have a little reminder.
10:44There's just one point as well that I wanted to make.
10:48These murders in plain sight, right,
10:50they are designed to give us clues, okay?
10:53Because you're asking the traitors to do something
10:55whilst everyone is running wild around the castle, okay?
10:58Yeah.
10:59So, who was the last person I saw at that painting?
11:02Yeah.
11:03And I've spoken to you before, Maz, through this process,
11:06and so I was thinking to myself last night,
11:09you know, oh, sorry, this morning,
11:11after we found out how, you know, the thing was done.
11:14Dude.
11:16Dude, he's got to be more careful.
11:17And he was so confident.
11:19He was like, I'm going to smash this.
11:21One of the tells, though, I noticed on that
11:24is that he finishes every sentence with okay,
11:26which I think he's giving himself a breather
11:27to get my next sentence with you.
11:29It's not enough of a breather, though.
11:30Okay.
11:31So, last night in the turret.
11:33He had a full night.
11:34We were talking in the turret last night.
11:36Okay, so I'm a traitor, faithful.
11:38Well, banished faithful Ross joins us next,
11:41but first, let's see how he reacted
11:43when he found out the identity of the traitors
11:45just after he left the game
11:47at Claudia's surprise morning round table.
11:49It's frustrating having been voted out
11:57as, honestly, I had a perfect theory.
12:00Come on now, like, literally,
12:02we know one of those five
12:04has to be a traitor,
12:06and they've set me up.
12:08And ultimately, I could tell on that round table
12:11they just were not listening
12:12to the facts that I was laying down.
12:16Traitors-wise, I think there were four.
12:17And at least one of those five
12:20who heard Ben's dying words is a traitor.
12:24And of those five,
12:26Ellie, I think, is a traitor.
12:29Stephen, I think, is a traitor.
12:31And then Fiona.
12:35It's so hard.
12:36It's so hard.
12:36But I do think Fiona is a silent assassin.
12:40Final one is Harriet.
12:42And it's just because of her behavior
12:46on that last round table.
12:47It didn't make sense
12:48that she wasn't listening
12:49to what I was saying there.
12:51Is this now...
12:51Is this the point where I can now
12:52find out who the traitors are?
12:55All right.
12:57Oh!
13:02There we go.
13:04Oh, mate.
13:04Okay.
13:05Stephen, I did know Stephen was a traitor.
13:17This makes me feel so good
13:20because I knew it!
13:21That's a win for me.
13:22I'll give you that.
13:24Right.
13:25Oh, do you know what?
13:25I'm a bit worried
13:25to see who the next one is.
13:26Rachel.
13:38Rachel.
13:40That has stunned me.
13:43Oh!
13:46I'm not going to lie to you.
13:47Rachel was completely off my radar.
13:50I just thought
13:51she was just being
13:52unnecessarily stubborn.
13:54Ultimately,
13:55the traitors' plan
13:56was to get me out
13:57at the round table
13:58and she guaranteed
14:00without suspicion
14:01I'd always get
14:02at least one vote.
14:03I am super surprised
14:05Ellie's not on this list.
14:07She was really weirdly quiet
14:09at the round table.
14:10That was really weird to me.
14:11That surprised me.
14:13She has been a faithful
14:14and I was wrong.
14:19And Ross is with us now!
14:20Yay!
14:24Welcome to Uncloaked, Ross.
14:26Thank you so much
14:27for having me.
14:28It's a delight
14:28to have you here.
14:29Under sad circumstances,
14:31of course,
14:31you've gone out quite early.
14:32You know what?
14:33I'm actually really happy
14:34with my run, honestly.
14:35I feel like
14:36a blaze of glory, you know?
14:37Yeah.
14:37It was a huge blaze of glory
14:39in a way.
14:41Jilted!
14:42Jilted!
14:43We'll talk about
14:44your whole game
14:45but first,
14:46I do want to hear
14:47why you thought
14:48your own secret girlfriend
14:50was a traitor.
14:51Listen,
14:51so you lot
14:52don't know
14:53who I ever have at home.
14:54And so,
14:55she'd be like
14:56freezing up,
14:57I'm really nervous.
14:58I'm like,
14:59I'm literally
15:00under fire here.
15:01Who's got
15:02a chance?
15:02Who's nervous?
15:03Yeah.
15:04And so,
15:05I just couldn't empathise
15:06with her finding
15:07the experience
15:08so intimidating.
15:10Was there beef and onion
15:10when you got home?
15:11No, no, no, no, no.
15:12Maybe a little bit, yeah?
15:14It was more,
15:15I was like,
15:15you know what?
15:16I didn't want her to go crazy
15:17but I was like,
15:18a little...
15:18A little drag.
15:20Sorry.
15:21A little left hook.
15:22Yeah.
15:23Like, a little defence
15:24or leading the charge
15:25in an opposite direction,
15:26maybe.
15:27Don't get me wrong,
15:28the plan was,
15:29you know,
15:29we're working for the household,
15:30don't sacrifice yourself.
15:31But I was like,
15:31don't do nothing.
15:32Yeah.
15:34Buck me up a bit over here.
15:36But I did see later on
15:37in some bits
15:38that actually,
15:39you know,
15:39she was,
15:39she had my back.
15:40Do you know what I mean?
15:41Well, she must have felt,
15:42she must have felt quite sort of torn
15:43because she was also watching you
15:45have the most stressful game
15:47anyone's ever had.
15:48I think because it was
15:48as soon as you got out of the car
15:50when normally you can relax
15:51and sort of take the castle in,
15:52Nettie runs towards you
15:54and from that moment on
15:55you were under suspicion.
15:57At the time,
15:58I'd seen Nettie
15:59like early,
16:01let's say 20 seconds before.
16:02Yeah.
16:03And so I was like,
16:04yes!
16:05I've got a secret ally.
16:07Not another one.
16:08It's supposed to be 22 strangers.
16:10It's 20 plus Ross and Nettie.
16:13And Ellie.
16:14And Ellie.
16:15Yes, and Ellie.
16:17Be for home.
16:19Definitely be for home.
16:20And Nettie's gone,
16:22Ross!
16:23And I was like,
16:23no, no!
16:24And so I've frozen
16:25because I'm like,
16:26oh, this is not good.
16:27And she's run
16:28and she's jumped into my arms
16:29and the problem with that
16:31is also that I'm like,
16:33everyone was like,
16:34oh, Ross,
16:34how was,
16:35you know,
16:35it looks really suspicious.
16:36I'm like,
16:36I don't care about you lot right now.
16:38Someone who,
16:39my partner who has no idea
16:40who they are
16:41just jumped into my arms.
16:43You guys have got
16:44the wrong priority.
16:47Oh, really?
16:48You've got some explaining.
16:49Is there footage anywhere
16:51of Ellie finding you
16:52in the castle
16:53and going,
16:53who the hell is that?
16:56That's what my actual
16:57initial fear and worry was.
16:59And so what's annoying
17:00and frustrating is
17:01I'm trying to hang it up
17:02and be like,
17:02oh my God,
17:04who is this?
17:05I can't believe.
17:06It's my platonic friend
17:07from years ago.
17:09Exactly.
17:10Wasn't a platonic friend.
17:11Yes, yes, yes.
17:12Okay.
17:13Just for a clarinet.
17:14No, no,
17:14it's actually generally innocent
17:15but it looks terrible.
17:17You guessed Stephen
17:22and we also saw in that clip
17:25you guessed Fiona as well.
17:26You referred to Fiona
17:27as a silent assassin.
17:29Yes, that's true.
17:29You couldn't have been much closer,
17:30you know,
17:31secret traitor,
17:31silent assassin.
17:32I just noticed she'd,
17:35like,
17:35I've spent a lot of time
17:36with Fiona.
17:37She's switched on.
17:38She's really,
17:39really switched on.
17:40So when she'd say stuff
17:41every now and again,
17:42like,
17:42what did he say?
17:44What did Ben say?
17:45I was like,
17:47you,
17:48you're asking a question
17:49you knew the answer to.
17:49Yeah.
17:50And so,
17:51for me,
17:51I was like,
17:52that was a flag
17:52but it wasn't like a,
17:54yeah.
17:55And,
17:56I mean,
17:57we're talking a lot
17:57about the Library Five
17:58so the people who heard
18:00Ben's final words
18:01to look at you
18:02if he died
18:02and so you suspected
18:04Stephen because of that
18:05and Fiona was also there.
18:06It was two of the Library Five
18:07are tracers.
18:08That's true.
18:09And so,
18:10in my eyes,
18:11it was those three.
18:13I knew that,
18:15this is going to sound
18:16a bit arrogant
18:16but I felt like
18:17Fiona would not kill me.
18:21And so,
18:21because of it,
18:22I was like,
18:22there's no point
18:22actually going out with Fiona.
18:24I'm obviously not going
18:25to ruin the household.
18:26Yeah.
18:27And so,
18:27Stephen was actually
18:28the only viable person
18:30of that five
18:31who was like,
18:32yeah,
18:32you can go.
18:33Yeah.
18:33And so,
18:34it just made sense.
18:35So you were so adamant
18:36it was LA.
18:37Like,
18:37you were like,
18:38I was,
18:40I couldn't,
18:40at that time,
18:41I could not think
18:42of any other reason
18:43for her to be so
18:44out of character.
18:45Like,
18:45if you know,
18:46if you guys,
18:46I would say if you know any,
18:47she's actually a,
18:48like,
18:49wild,
18:50like,
18:50I'm actually the calm one.
18:52Really?
18:52Yeah.
18:53She seems so quiet.
18:54That's it.
18:55And so,
18:55I was more like,
18:56who are you?
18:57Like,
18:58I was,
18:58I was,
18:59She's only chill
18:59when her boyfriend's
19:00under the threat of banishment.
19:01That's the only time
19:02she takes a back seat.
19:04You know what,
19:05after watching
19:06the first episode,
19:07I did now notice
19:08that basically,
19:09other than us two
19:10on the train
19:10where she's smiling
19:11and a bit like,
19:12every other scene
19:13was like,
19:15Yeah.
19:15She's terrified.
19:17Can we talk about
19:18the moment on the train?
19:21Obviously,
19:22you're trying to conceal
19:22that you're in a relationship.
19:24I'd say,
19:25it's the most obvious thing
19:26I've ever seen in my life.
19:27That conversation,
19:28the,
19:29I'm from London.
19:30Is it?
19:31Is it?
19:31I went,
19:33is it?
19:34Hey!
19:36That was a good moment.
19:37Is it?
19:38I think is it
19:39will be your legacy
19:40on this show.
19:41I hope so.
19:41No one's ever been
19:42that surprised
19:43to hear someone's
19:44from London.
19:46Well,
19:46Ellie's claimed
19:47that she's going to
19:48avenge your banishment.
19:49I hope so.
19:50Yeah.
19:50I hope so.
19:51She should be.
19:52She's got,
19:52I feel like I've laid
19:53the clues,
19:54you know,
19:55with evidence.
19:55So,
19:57beautifully articulated
19:58and very calm.
19:59I just,
20:00yeah,
20:01but then Rayter went,
20:02what was the turret like?
20:03And you were like,
20:03oh!
20:04Oh my God!
20:06I don't know
20:06what anyone would say
20:07in that situation.
20:08I know.
20:09You pretending
20:09that you didn't know
20:10what the turret was
20:11was brilliant.
20:11We should talk about this.
20:13Let's remind ourselves
20:13of that moment.
20:15Can I ask you a question?
20:16Please.
20:17Was Hugo this dramatic
20:18in the turret?
20:19Was Hugo this?
20:22I'm sorry,
20:22I don't understand.
20:23Was Hugo dramatic
20:24in the turret?
20:25I didn't,
20:27what turret?
20:31Oh,
20:31she's so evil.
20:32And she's like,
20:32I rest my case.
20:36I mean,
20:37a brutal move
20:38from Rachel,
20:38I think.
20:39Wild play.
20:40And then she tries
20:40to claim it was a joke
20:41afterwards.
20:42She's like,
20:42I jokingly said this.
20:43It's like,
20:43your face wasn't showing that.
20:44That was the little
20:45jokey joke,
20:46I haven't seen.
20:46But then,
20:47I mean,
20:48I felt bad for you
20:49for this whole game,
20:50Russ,
20:50because from minute one,
20:52you're like,
20:52no one else is under suspicion.
20:53You get out the car,
20:54Nettie runs up to you
20:55and the game
20:56never slowed down
20:56from that point.
20:57Sadly.
20:57So I understand
20:58there's so much going on
20:59at this point,
21:00you're going to go,
21:01what turret?
21:02But have you worked out
21:03what the turret is yet?
21:04I do now.
21:04Yeah, yeah, yeah.
21:06Oh, hats off to you.
21:07He's had the hardest start
21:09I've ever seen anybody have.
21:10It's the most brutal
21:12Rachel V. Ross
21:12since Friends season.
21:17It's such a leading question
21:18though as well,
21:18isn't it?
21:18I thought
21:19that was her slipping up.
21:21So what's really funny
21:22was when that was going on,
21:24I was like,
21:24brother,
21:25have you just
21:25outage yourself?
21:27And also,
21:27what I didn't want to do
21:28at the time as well
21:29was say traitors.
21:30I don't know why,
21:31in my head,
21:31I just thought
21:31if you say traitors,
21:33people will associate you with.
21:35And I was like,
21:36bruv,
21:36and I still thought
21:37it was a weird thing to say,
21:38but I understand now
21:39the game
21:40was a powerful thing to do.
21:41Max,
21:42how would you cope
21:42in that situation
21:43if you were at the round table?
21:44I think I would cry
21:45and run away.
21:47I don't think
21:48that would raise
21:48any suspicion whatsoever.
21:50Yeah.
21:51Ross,
21:51why did you and Ellie
21:52decide to go
21:53into the game together?
21:54Oh,
21:54so actually,
21:55Ellie was the one
21:56that applied for us
21:57and we loved the show.
21:59Yeah.
21:59So we'd watched
22:00two,
22:03season two and three
22:03and then when she said
22:05we should try for it,
22:06I was like,
22:08you sure?
22:09Because obviously,
22:10so many people,
22:10it's such a popular show,
22:12so many people on it
22:12and so yeah,
22:13I'm not really lucky.
22:14Has it brought you
22:14closer together?
22:16Yes.
22:16Yes.
22:18Or,
22:18or has it exposed
22:20some serious flaws
22:21in your relationship?
22:22Love Island in addition.
22:25I have,
22:26yeah,
22:26to be fair to you,
22:26I've seen a lot more,
22:28I've seen a lot more
22:29really actually,
22:30if that makes sense
22:30because I think,
22:32especially in a relationship
22:32where I don't know
22:33if you're competitive
22:34but she'd keep her
22:35guard up quite a bit
22:37so now understanding,
22:38oh,
22:38that's what that face means
22:40has been really,
22:41really helpful
22:42because like,
22:43no,
22:44it's been good.
22:44I've seen your own
22:45reactions on TV.
22:46It is.
22:47Oh,
22:47that's what my face
22:48looks like.
22:49Were there,
22:50were there any moments
22:52when you're in the castle
22:53that you nearly slipped up,
22:54that you nearly sort of
22:55revealed a little bit
22:56of the secret relationship
22:57to the other players?
22:59No,
22:59I was actually
23:00really playing with it.
23:01Weirdly,
23:02our relationship
23:02was the most fun
23:04and comfortable thing
23:05for me personally
23:05because I just,
23:06I don't know why,
23:07arrogantly,
23:08I knew nobody would guess.
23:10Yeah.
23:11And especially,
23:12obviously,
23:12after the Nettie scenario,
23:13I was like,
23:13bruv,
23:14we can do whatever.
23:14But there was no,
23:15there was no point
23:16at like the end of the game.
23:17It's going to get you.
23:19At the end of the day,
23:22you didn't like
23:23accidentally kiss her
23:23on the lips
23:24and then have to
23:24kiss everyone on the lips.
23:28That's why he got banished.
23:30It's not an excuse anymore.
23:32Yeah,
23:33we're going to have
23:33to get rid of Ross.
23:34He keeps snocking.
23:37It's obviously out there now
23:39that you and Ellie
23:40are in a relationship.
23:41But when the first
23:42three episodes
23:43were going out,
23:44have you been
23:44trying to not be seen together
23:46or trying to keep it sick?
23:48So,
23:48yes,
23:49we've had to leave
23:50the house
23:50at separate times
23:51where we went
23:53to go watch
23:54the first episode
23:54that my family's together.
23:56Ellie took a big jacket
23:58and sunglasses
23:59and like,
24:00we're going over the top
24:02and I get it,
24:02to be fair,
24:03because we live
24:03where we live
24:04and so we don't want people
24:05just to ruin the fun.
24:07Yeah,
24:07yeah.
24:07And so,
24:08yeah,
24:08we've been doing
24:08every bit extra
24:09which has been a bit long
24:10but it's fun.
24:12And so,
24:12also,
24:13and telling friends,
24:14bruv.
24:15Yeah,
24:15because I was going to say,
24:16the neighbours next door
24:17like,
24:17hey,
24:18yeah,
24:19they're neighbours,
24:20they're my neighbours.
24:20I've been using this emoji
24:21non-stop
24:22and then everyone else
24:23has been like,
24:23keep it to yourselves.
24:24And also,
24:25because it's fun,
24:26you get to share in the secret.
24:27You're in the circle.
24:29Yeah,
24:29yeah,
24:29yeah.
24:30Who do you think
24:31is going to survive
24:32tonight's face-to-face murder,
24:33Ross?
24:34We've obviously got...
24:35Stephen.
24:36We've got Stephen.
24:36Stephen will survive.
24:39Really?
24:40Are you alright?
24:41We should survive
24:42because obviously
24:42if I was a traitor,
24:43I'm keeping him to hell in.
24:44Yeah.
24:44I'd probably kill Maz.
24:47That's what I said.
24:48I said that.
24:49But we love Maz.
24:50I love Maz.
24:51I'm sorry, Maz.
24:52Explain yourself.
24:53I love Sam,
24:54but Sam has rubbed
24:55some people
24:56not the right way.
24:57Yeah.
24:57So,
24:58the wrong way.
24:59Ross is so nice,
25:00he won't even say
25:01the word wrong.
25:01I'm obsessed with him
25:02the incorrect way.
25:04Yeah.
25:05You've rubbed me
25:06not the right way.
25:07A little feedback
25:12for you there.
25:14Yeah.
25:15The turret.
25:16What turret?
25:17Yeah.
25:18Ross,
25:19although your time
25:20was cut savagely short,
25:21you've entered
25:21the Traitor's History books
25:23because you are
25:24the second Ross
25:25to be in a secret relationship.
25:26The other one
25:29with his mum.
25:29Yeah.
25:31Watch that season.
25:33You follow
25:34in the footsteps
25:34of secret son Ross
25:36to Diane,
25:37who is, of course,
25:38Miles' murder conquest.
25:40Congratulations.
25:41We'd like to commemorate
25:42that here on Uncloaked.
