00:12:31I think what we're doing on Survivor is very similar to what you're doing.
00:12:35It is a social experiment.
00:12:36What I love about Beast Games is you use money to ask a very simple question.
00:12:41What will you do for money?
00:12:43A lot of our inspiration came from Survivor.
00:12:45I mean, you're the godfather of challenges.
00:12:47And so, I just wanted to shake your hand.
00:12:49You're a big inspiration.
00:12:50You want to get into it?
00:12:51Yeah.
00:12:52I'm ready.
00:12:55We have a challenge set up.
00:12:56It's going to run five on five relay style.
00:12:58So, each player is going to run through a twisted net and then you will each complete
00:13:03one individual task.
00:13:04The first person will toss coconuts until it's heavy enough to drop a key.
00:13:08The second person will sort through tiles.
00:13:10You'll get another key.
00:13:11The third person will try to land a ball on a very narrow perch.
00:13:14The fourth player will follow this table track and maneuver that ball until you drop it in the target.
00:13:19Then that fifth player will finish the Mr. Beast puzzle.
00:13:22First team to finish moves on to the second challenge.
00:13:26And the five of you on the losing team will be out of the running to win the island.
00:13:31It feels like we should do a schoolyard pick.
00:13:35Step forward if you think you should be a captain.

00:28:01out there i love being in the city right now and there's people from pretty much every alliance you

00:28:23most of them are gone and they're on the island i am getting to branch out make new connections which
00:28:29is good i think it's going to help me later in the competition but some players back in b city

00:40:56dream right here and it's a dream that has has grown into something special where my dream of
00:41:03not only final tribal council but it's beast games tribal council it's the best of both worlds
00:41:09you know as a kid i i would sit down with my uh my nine siblings and i would watch survivor and my mom
00:41:17and dad was there and i could see myself sitting right here and being able to pitch my case you
00:41:24know i'm an emotional guy and uh for a long time i tried to keep that in but you know my mom before i
00:41:31left said that being emotional is not a weakness in a man and that i should be true to myself so i'm
00:41:38super proud of of you tyler my my man up top turning down a million dollars for me you know that means a
00:41:44lot you wouldn't be here if he didn't do that because i know what it would do for you and your
00:41:49family and um same nick jeff and hannah you guys up top i give you guys all the credit in the world
00:41:56but just being here i am fulfilling my dream in my dream i thought coming on the show was
00:42:04to be at the end of beast games the champion but i'm realizing that it's this moment so going forward
00:42:10if you allow me to win this i am here for you if there's ever a moment going forward that you
00:42:16need me to self-eliminate you need me to run through a wall you name it and i'm there for you and
00:42:25i worked at a corporate america job for 14 years six to seven days a week for 14 years they abused
00:42:32me they kept me there and it made me feel as though if i was not able to do anything else
00:42:39the money that's in my bank account right now it's never been as close to zero as it is right now
00:42:44and so me coming here was a major risk a major risk and i i said i got a job to do i told my wife and
00:42:51i said i'm i'm gonna bring home something for us so that we can you know live comfortably as a family
00:42:56so like i i honestly i love all you guys and you know i know it's a tough decision jc's a great man
00:43:03you know i think you've done wonders for your reputation coming on and you know may the best man
00:43:08win it's a lot to take in but appreciate you being open and transparent with everyone thank you
00:43:18jc when you're ready i'd like to start off by saying that i feel honored and blessed to be here
00:43:23with you guys i don't come from a life of privilege everything that i've worked for in life everything that
00:43:29i've wanted i've sacrificed for i was reflecting over my life and in my 51 years i have never crossed
00:43:36that finish line i've never been in first place i've always been close but not close enough good
00:43:41but not good enough and this is an opportunity to change my story but more than anything i look back
00:43:49at season one and i have to learn from that experience i messed up i i made a bad decision
00:44:00i was inconsiderate and being in season two allows me the opportunity to fix the parts of myself that
00:44:09are broken to look back and reflect and say hey this is not who i am i need to do better i'm the underdog
00:44:15in this competition i'm the dark horse you know i've had to work twice as hard just to kind of
00:44:19rebuild that trust this is the only one i really need i'm there to support you guys and get you
00:44:24through the rest of the challenges i give you my word on that the moment my my sons were born i looked
00:44:31into their eyes and and i promised them that i would give them a better life i'm just fighting for my
00:44:36family and my fate is in your hands i'm hoping you allow me to fulfill that promise for them
00:44:41does the jury want to ask either of them any questions anything you want to know jc i have a
00:44:49question for you yes sir when we're up on the polls you had the opportunity as well to take the fifty
00:44:55thousand dollar bribe and you turned it down and you know i think the elephant in the room here in
00:45:00this decision-making process is that season one you've already won 650k i mean at this point what would
00:45:07the 1.8 million prize help you further accomplish so the 1.8 allows me to set my life up for my
00:45:29children create college funds for them create a little bit of generational wealth for them the money
00:45:34that i won in the first season paid off all my bills i didn't buy anything fun so it's just a
00:45:39matter of me creating a nest egg for them so that when i'm not here they're taken care of to you ian
00:45:45as well you had the opportunity at 50 000 that'd be enough for me if it was just me i probably would
00:45:49have taken it but it's not enough for my wife and kids i'll be honest i was falling when you took that
00:45:57bribe and i know you didn't have to you know i asked you to full transparency everybody i asked him
00:46:05to i asked him to drop because i need it you know would you have dropped if he didn't ask you
00:46:14i don't know do you regret your decision now you've had some time to think about it i do regret it
00:46:19so if you could go back in time you would have stayed up there oh yeah i think so takes a man to
00:46:26admit it mm-hmm yeah that moment i just didn't like it with ethan he looked the most comfortable
00:46:31and it looked like he was getting manipulated a little bit i get it it's part of the game

00:47:11now you're sharing it i've had a lot of time jeff to reflect on on my decisions that's something i
00:47:20live with and i'm trying to be the best version of myself i can possibly be and it's it's looking back

00:49:22of these two and i've heard a lot about ian and his family and 100 he deserves this like he is a family

00:49:37want i mean this is fascinating to watch it play out with a different set of people in a different
00:49:41environment but the same behavior comes out and if y'all help in like friends of n are my friends too
00:49:48it's clearly not just about need on this side it's about need over there as well several of them have
00:49:55said they're on the fence now you got to close the deal you can't make the same pitch again they've
