05:33person in the world. Yes. Yes. So if I could do that for a career, I don't think I would
05:45ever need anything else. Honestly, emo or scene. I don't have to go with scene. Do I think I can

06:10that's actually one thing that I want to do is start making videos more, um, to cater to
06:20the writing community because a lot of people have asked, um, about my methods and my rituals

07:10Um, do I experience any writer's block? No. I actually have not, um, not experienced that
07:17ever. Whenever I experience, um, a feeling like I am stuck, I wouldn't exactly call it
07:31writer's block because I just move on to the next bit. And then I go back to it later. Um,
07:38to that scene that I was stuck on later and there's no problem. So yeah. Why am I moving?
07:47Because my, um, I live with my mom right now and I freaking love living with my mom. Thank
07:54you. But she's like one of my best friends. Uh, and, um, she's moving to Nevada so that she
08:04can be closer to her brother. And so I'm going with her. Yeah. I mean, I totally would buy
08:12this house if I had enough money to buy it, but I frankly do not.
08:16My lack of writer's block has suddenly made you the, me, the bane of authors nationwide.
08:26Sorry. Sorry. I mean, it just doesn't happen. I mean, it's cool. I mean, I'm glad it doesn't
08:37happen. You're in the middle of reading chapter two. Yay. I'm super glad. I don't know. I'm
08:46like the first third chapters of the book I kind of wanted to establish are the most comedic
08:55out of the 30. So those are kind of the three introductory chapters. Yeah. Um, whereas starting
09:06in chapter four all the way to 30 is kind of not so good. I can't wait for you to have the
09:16book in your hands either. It's right here. I'm like holding it and just like loving it.
09:21Ah, I carry it everywhere.
09:28Is my book hard to understand if you're not in native English? Um, some parts might be hard
09:38to understand because I do tend to use some pretty big words sometimes, but, um, for the most part,
09:51it's actually a really quick read for the most part. My aura is completely different. Yeah. I definitely
10:00feel much better than I did before. Yeah. I'm just kinda, I'm just really glad. I'm just, I'm just super proud
10:11and happy and, uh, synonyms. Yeah. How many pages are there in the paperback? Well, in the story itself,
10:27there are 348 pages and including the glossary there are 376 pages. Yeah. Yeah. So there actually
10:46used to be a lot more. I don't know if you guys ever saw my process while I was, um, posting about it,
10:56but the, currently the word count is 99,799, I think. Um, the word count used to be 289,000 something.
11:14So in revising it, I took out about 200,000 words, which is equivalent to about, um,
11:26700 something pages. Um, so it took a while to revise it. You can't believe I didn't get overwhelmed
11:40by it. I did. I totally did. Um, it just, you know, if I stopped working on it, it would drive me even
11:51more crazy. So yeah. Thank you for ordering it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Um,
12:02funny story actually, not funny at all. It was actually very depressing, but, um, yesterday I
12:09published the book technically and I got a notification that said it would be three to five
12:19days until it was, um, published or for sale. And so I called Amazon like seven times being like,
12:31Hey, I absolutely need it out on Saturday, the 21st, because that's what I've been telling everybody.
12:37And every person I talked to said, sorry, three to five days, you know, it'll be up next week.
12:44And I just couldn't figure out how to tell you guys. And I was so scared. And so I just kind of
12:50laid in my bed for five hours and, um, was just sad. And then miraculously this morning it was up
13:03for sale. So I don't know what happened, but it was certainly not three to five days.

13:33I mean, they're all my favorites in different ways, but the one that I relate to the most is Ari's.

14:01How long did I write this book? Um, I started officially started September, uh, 29th. No,
14:17no, September 19th. Sorry. Uh, 2016. So almost two years. Yeah. And it's been like every single day.
14:29Okay. So in Australia, I was out yesterday. Dang. I guess I got to keep time zones in mind.

15:16Um, but I mean, I would rather just have it out and not have to worry about distribution or anything. Um, so I'll just let them handle it.
15:29Yeah. Yeah. Did I ever feel impatient creating a world that huge? Nope. Um, well, I mean, there were times of impatience. Yes.
15:46But it was more so just that I couldn't wait to get to certain points in the story. Um, but it was never really about the world at all and, or the details of the world. Yeah.

16:13What do I do now that the book is finished? I work on book two because there are six books in the series. Yeah.
16:24So this is only the first one. Yeah. There are five more. So I've, I've got my work cut out for me.

17:07It doesn't matter what percentage they give me. I doubt Disney would ever come to me because moon colors isn't exactly Disney content.

17:31So you're going to draw the characters. I would scream. I've been saving every single one of the drawings that you guys have been doing.
17:43So they're all on my phone and I was just looking for my phone, but I forgot that I'm using it to, to, um, live stream.
17:52So, so universal, I guess universal, maybe it's okay with a couple of things.
18:05Um, how much have I done for book two? I've done, um, I've done the first right for book two.
18:17So technically I have the entire book laid out. I have about 76, no, 77,000 words for book two currently.
18:29Um, but that is maybe one 60th of the whole process.
18:39So it'll take a while.
18:41If you do a cosplay of Brielle, I will cry happily.
18:47Did I have the whole plot planned out or did I just come up with something, something that went away as I went along?
18:53Um, yes, I've had the whole plot planned out from, from the beginning.
19:00Because the thing is that, um, Mooncallers was originally supposed to be one book.
19:09And so I figured out the entire, hi Beemo, my cat.
19:15I figured out the entire, uh, storyline at the very beginning.
19:25And once I got to about five or six hundred pages and was only about one sixtieth through the, the storyline,
19:35I realized that it was not going to fit into one book.
19:38Like, so, um, no, it, it, it just came, like, okay, it's kind of a complicated process.
19:50It doesn't, it doesn't just come to me all at once, I guess I, I shouldn't say that because it doesn't, um,
19:59it, it, it kind of, little bits and pieces, um, arrive at random.
20:09So it's, it kind of, one of the, the most helpful things that I can do is just talk to myself, um,
20:21as if I were establishing dialogue.
20:24So have conversations about random things, and then sometimes a piece of that dialogue will be like,
20:33oh, that would be a really good plot point.
20:36And, yeah.
20:39So.
20:41It's, it doesn't come all at once.
20:44And don't expect it to come all at once because it probably won't.
20:52How many pickles are in this story?

20:59Do I constantly go back and add things?
21:02I wouldn't say that I add things, but I did revise it a, plenty of times.

21:13It was, like, in the 30s, maybe.

21:53That's all I have planned for now because those will be very easy.

21:56What inspired me to write the series?
21:58Mm.
21:58And I wouldn't say anything really inspired me.
22:03It was just that I was very lonely.
22:06And, um.
22:08I started it by, believe it or not,
22:14I started it by, uh, writing the roleplay biography for my demon hunter on World of Warcraft.
22:21And my roleplay add-on at one point said,
22:26this is way too long and nothing else will fit.
22:30So, I copied it and pasted it onto my phone and kept writing it.
22:35And at that point, I had made so many changes to the world, uh, the Warcraft universe
22:41that I just decided to scrap the whole thing,
22:46rewrite it in a different universe that I created in 2012,
22:50using the same storyline.
22:54So.
22:55Why did I call it Mooncallers?
22:58Um.
23:00That was actually a placeholder title.
23:03Um.
23:05I did not ever plan to have it be called Mooncallers.
23:11And then I just got really, really, really attached to it.
23:15So.

23:18It was, it was just kind of a,

23:25That was, it was just really a spur of the moment.
