00:13:57So it's a big change from a coaching perspective to put that and implement that so quickly.

00:14:02And to accumulate the points they've got, it's an unbelievable achievement to be sat here with so many points.

00:14:09In his pre-match interviews, Mareska said they weren't going to resort to the trend of long throws.

00:14:14And he joked that perhaps Liam's dad, Rory DeLapp, might come out of retirement if he needed that.

00:14:19But he was undone by one today.

00:14:21Yeah, he might not want to use long throws.

00:14:23But Sunderland didn't care at all.

00:15:28I think it gets flagged up if they don't win games.

00:15:34I think they've got a fair amount of experience within the squad, within the team.

00:15:38They've got a World Cup winner in there.

00:15:39They've got players that have played an awful lot of Premier League games and big Champions League games as well.

00:15:43The challenge always with young players is consistency.

00:15:46consistency and there's the freshness, there's the enthusiasm and there's no doubt pure talent within the squad.

00:15:53But consistency is something that you get with experience and you've kind of got to go through the process.

00:15:58So that's what they're going to suffer at times and I suppose they're ready to take that on board.

00:16:03In context, if they had won today, they would have been sitting right near the top of the table.

00:16:08So we take that with a kind of balanced view.

00:16:12I'm still excited by the squad that they've got, but consistency is the biggest challenge.

00:28:23But that was for me the main thing that we have to improve in looking at this game.
