00:00On Venezuela, Cabello, the de facto number two in Venezuela right now, he seemed pretty reluctant to work with the U.S.
00:08And obviously he's in the U.S.
00:09They just gave us 15 million barrels of oil.
00:13The number two, the Venezuela security team.
00:15I know the number one, we just had a great conversation today.
00:19And she's a terrific person.
00:20I mean, she's somebody that we've worked with very well.
00:23Marco Rubio is dealing with her.
00:24I dealt with her this morning.
00:26We had a call, a long call.
00:28We discussed a lot of things, and I think we're getting along very well with them as well.
00:32Mr. President, is there even a new assistant attorney general position dedicated to rooting out fraud in the United States?
00:38Yeah, it's fantastic.
00:39The person is fantastic.
00:40Who is it?
00:41It's a he.
00:42I will tell you maybe within minutes.
00:45I mean, I don't know if it's appropriate to say yet because we're going through a process.
00:49But we have chosen a person who's very tough, very smart, very fair.
00:54You gave a speech yesterday in Michigan about how you recalibrated the American economy to work for workers, U.S. auto factories.
01:02We've seen core inflation is completely tamed.
01:04You lower the trade deficits, the lowest amount since 2009.
01:07American exports are growing.
01:09But we're also waiting on the Supreme Court case for the tariffs.
01:12Given the success that you've had in the first 12 months, what is at stake in this case, sir?
01:17It's a little bit like whole milk.
01:18I can't believe we even have a case.
01:19This was a case started by very China-centric people and also anti-American people, frankly, people that don't want us to do well.
01:31Tariffs have helped us stop eight wars.
01:34They've helped us get the best trade numbers we've ever had.
01:37They've helped us get $18 trillion brought into the country.
01:40And maybe above all else, they've given us tremendous national security, just the threat of tariffs.
01:46You saw that just yesterday when I put tariffs on a certain country.
01:50We won't talk about that country, but you know who it is, based on the fact that if you do business with that country, you know, it's going to make them – it's going to bring them to the table a lot faster.
02:02So we have made hundreds of billions of dollars with tariffs.
02:07We have very little inflation.
02:09Think of it, inflation's gone down and productivity, everything has gone up.
02:14We've never taken in money like we have.
02:16We've never had anywhere near $18 trillion invested in our country, neither has any other country.
02:22It's the biggest number by maybe five times.
02:26Five times, not 5%, five times.
02:29Nobody's ever seen numbers like this.
02:31We have plants going up.
02:32You know, you mentioned I was in Michigan yesterday.
02:34I was at the Ford plant where they make the Ford 150.
02:37It's one of the original plants, it's a – it was from before World War I.
02:41It's a giant plant.
02:43That plant was probably going to be closed.
02:45And two years ago, they were doing very poorly.
02:49And now they just announced yesterday that they're going to go 24 hours around the clock.
02:54Three shifts, which they rarely do.
02:57That's Ford.
02:58And Ford's having the best numbers they've ever had.
03:00General Motors having the best numbers they've ever had.
03:02Stellantis, which hasn't been here, is now investing billions, tens of billions of dollars on building in the country.
03:10We're building auto plants all over the country.
03:13We're building AI all over the country.
03:14We're leading China by a lot.
03:16And a lot of it has to do with tariffs.
03:18That would be a very disappointing decision.
03:23And especially since the people that are fighting me are people that want China to do well.
03:29And we're doing great against China.
03:30We're doing great against everybody.
03:32We're the hottest country anywhere in the world.
03:35As they say often, we're right now the hottest country anywhere in the world.
03:39And a year and a half ago, we were a dead country.
03:42Thank you very much, everybody.
03:43Thank you so much.
