00:00I have the impression that your film, more than a horror, is a kind of survival movie.
00:11You talk about how humanity can survive in an infected world.
00:17I mean, in essence, the film's about how we survive.
00:23And the big question of survival, the human race surviving.
00:27I think there's a big question.
00:29And now, I mean, I think we're all a bit blinkered to the real challenges of survival, which are around us anyway, for real.
00:37And, of course, within communities that are trying to survive, you know,
00:41there are always going to be the people who have a sense of care, connection, empathy.
00:48But then, of course, like in any communities, you have the people who define their reason for being by acts of violence.
00:58And destruction.
01:00And sadistic.
01:02For me, the movie's really about choice, isn't it?
01:04Like, you know, in this world where society is gone, all the things you lean on for a sense of moral right and wrong, all that stuff's gone.
01:11What do you lean into?
01:12What do you lean in?
01:13What do you lean on?
01:14And, you know, on one hand, you have, like, this cruel, violent dogma with the jimmies.
01:19And I think the movie's offering these options, saying, like, we're not inherently anything, but we can decide how we want to live when we make meaning for ourselves.
01:31And so that was really exciting for me to explore.
01:34Thank you.
