The Adventures of Glove and Boots is a Canadian/American animated educational television series for children, created by Disney Television Animation and Disney Jr. for The Walt Disney Company. The show is set in the fictional American city of Gloove and Boots, and revolves around the lives of 8-year-old Glove, an anthropomorphic puppet,[3] his friends and family, and their daily interactions with each other.
The television series is based on the Glove and Boots book series, which are written and illustrated by Josh Selig. The Walt Disney Company along with Disney Television Animation began production of the animated series in 2009, and aired its first episode on July 15, 2009. Since its debut, the show has broadcast 217 30-minute long episodes, and its 18th season premiered on April 14, 2025. With 217 episodes, Glove and Boots is the second longest running show on Disney Jr., behind only How I Met Your Mother.
