00:04the country cafe restaurant stadiums the streets a barber shop it doesn't matter they'll take care

00:09of you and i spoke to both a barber and a stadium volunteer about what moroccan hospitality means

00:14and how they've welcomed the world to morocco so i'm here in fez i just got a haircut which is

00:19another form of amazing moroccan hospitality i'm telling you these people will always take

00:24care of travelers that come to this beautiful country so i'm here with the maestro barber in

00:29fez i just want to say thank you so much for a warm welcome thank you for the haircut of course

00:35he also got his tea coffee snacks it might be a rainy day in fez but we have some bright sunshine

00:40from a person here so i just want to say thank you once again welcome brother and i see for uh

00:45every people in the world welcome to morocco and this is the the people moroccan people now thank

00:51you so much full of hospitality in morocco and we absolutely love it here thank you once again

01:01was time to link the volunteer in rabat who didn't just give us an interview at moroccan hospitality but

01:05also brought us to a beautiful luxury country club and golf course i am here with one of the volunteers

01:12at afcon at the al medina stadium but we are actually at one of the country clubs in rabat morocco so

01:18please introduce yourself and describe where we're at right now hi my name is razan i'm 26 years old

01:24and we are at royal golf darsalam and this is just some of the proof of the moroccan hospitality because

01:30we could have done this volunteer interview at the stadium at a regular cafe but instead she kindly

01:34brought us all the way to a country club one of the most serene and beautiful places in all of rabat

01:39and that i've been to but i want to talk to you about being a volunteer what made you want to

01:43volunteer and help welcome people to morocco help welcome people to afcon well i have had some

01:51friends that volunteered and also i grew up in a family of soccer players so i love to be like within

01:57the football industry so when i saw when i saw that there is an opportunity to apply i just took it right

02:04away that's beautiful and you spoke about having soccer in your family i know you have a little bit

02:08of family legacy if you want to explain that to the viewers well my uncle used to play for the moroccan

02:15national team of u20 and they won the african national national cup and it was in 1997.

02:24absolutely incredible so one thing about being a volunteer that's very important to you is moroccan

02:28hospitality and it's been a big thing that we've experienced here in the restaurants and the cafes with

02:32the barbershop that i just went to where does that moroccan hospitality come from well we just

02:38grew up like this like we're used to having family over bringing friends to our house hosting parties

02:45so it's just in our blood 100 100 and then as a moroccan what would it mean for you for your country

02:53to win this african cup of nations as the host nation yeah it would be i would be so overjoyed

03:00overjoyed uh it would be a reward a reward not just for the players it would just also be a reward for the

03:08supporters that have been here for as long as i can remember so yeah i would be really happy for

03:14sure and then one last thing on moroccan hospitality what would you tell to the americans back home on

03:20why they should come to morocco and experience this beautiful country i think we've got everything in

03:24morocco you want snow you'll find snow you want rain you've got a lot of rain this time yeah we did

03:29you'll find everything like you want to have a calm serene holiday you can find that you want to have a

03:34party lifestyle you want to have a party life no a holiday you can find it so we got everything so
