00:00Are you saying there might be another victim out here?

00:02Right.

00:04That is a lot of ground to cover to hunt for a body that might not exist.

00:08Well, it just means we need to narrow our search.

00:11I'm seeing a lot of orange golf balls around here.

00:14And some of them are brand new.

00:16They haven't had a chance to be exposed to the elements yet.

00:19Like someone was hitting this morning.

00:21Okay, so our golfer might be bare subject,

00:23but even so, these balls could have been from anywhere.

00:25Well, that's not true.

00:26The path that a golf ball takes in the distance are completely related.

00:31When a golfer slices the ball and it goes away from his body,

00:34it has less energy and travels a shorter distance

00:36than if he were to hit it straight.

00:40If a golfer hooks the ball, it goes across his body,

00:43has more energy, and goes further.

00:49So all we have to do is look at the spread of where these golf balls landed,

00:53and that way we can work backwards,

00:55and that helps us figure out where they came from.
