00:00A lot of fans loved the friendship between Mel and Langdon last season.
00:04So I think they're A, going to be so thrilled when they see that awkward hug in episode one.
00:07You should always wear a helmet.
00:09Hey, nice of you to join us.
00:11Hey.
00:11Dr. Langdon!
00:15Sold to Dr. Langdon.
00:17What was it like shooting that reunion?
00:19It was great.
00:20I think Mel, you know, feels very insecure about her lack of friends.
00:24And I think to have someone she knows is on her side was, it's always refreshing for her to kind of feel like at least someone gets her.
00:36And I imagine the 10 months without him was, you know, she did fine and she befriended everyone to a degree.
00:44But just there's like, you know, with shared trauma, too, of going through mass casualty together and having him be one of her only advocates, I think is it's nice to be back in that in that space.
00:57What was it like for you to be reunited with Taylor in those scenes?
01:00I think it's it's great.
01:02I think it's a very it's a very interesting relationship.
01:04And I think it really is this sort of unlikely bond that that shows up between the two of them.
01:11I think it's probably difficult to come back in and and have someone like Mel, who I have, you know, previously felt like a big brother to and previously felt like a mentor to our role model to and realize that I've really let her down.
01:27And I think the shame spiral sort of makes it difficult to be as present for that relationship as as maybe he should or could be.
01:37But, yeah, I think coming back in and, you know, seeing all of my old friends again is a is a complicated experience.
