00:52Thank you for joining me on the first episode of Uncloaked for Series 4.
00:55We are obviously going to be discussing everything that happened in this episode,
00:59but Lucy, first, I want to chat to you,
01:01because you were amazing in the celebrity series.
01:04How did you find watching the first episode of the new civilian series
01:07now that you're not in the castle?
01:08At first, I was like,
01:09Oh, God, here we go again.
01:12You know, like, when he's like,
01:13there's a set thing, like, oh.
01:15And then,
01:16I was absolutely hooked.
01:18By the end, I was like,
01:20they have, they've done it again.
01:22But you'll want to talk about the twist in a minute,
01:25I'm sure.
01:26We'll probably bring it up, I'd imagine.
01:27But that just is taking it to a new level.
01:31Totally, yeah.
01:33Total new level.
01:34This time round, there is a secret traitor.
01:36Not even the traitors know who they are,
01:38and we do not know who they are as we are watching.
01:41So everyone watching now is a faithful,
01:44because we need to work out who this traitor is.
01:46Yes.
01:47So you've got a theory I hear, Lucy.
01:49When we watched it together,
01:50I just had to ask the group,
01:52did they say that the secret traitor was one of that cast?
01:55Because it could be Clare Balding.
02:00So you think it's not only a secret traitor,
02:03it's someone secret within the castle.
02:05You think Clare Balding is hiding something,
02:06maybe in the suit of armour,
02:08and she's going to pop out.
02:09Well, I did say,
02:10I said publicly online
02:11that I think Clare Balding will come back.
02:14Yeah.
02:14And then,
02:15and then you can imagine how I felt
02:17when they said there's a secret traitor.
02:18Yeah.
02:19And in the cloak,
02:20when it was walking,
02:21it did look like Clare Balding's walk.
02:24And I thought,
02:25that's why you made me move up,
02:26because she's going to sit here.
02:29So you thought,
02:30we are going to reveal
02:31the identity of the secret traitor
02:33in this episode of Uncloaked
02:34and it's going to be Clare Balding.
02:35Yeah.
02:35I'm just so glad they've done this
02:37because, you know,
02:38it's so,
02:39you won't know this,
02:40but it's so infuriating
02:41when people are like,
02:43how did you not know?
02:44Yeah.
02:44I feel you with that one.
02:45It's time for the public
02:46to play this game
02:47and realise how hard it is.
02:49What was your instant thought
02:50when you saw the twist, Mina?
02:52Can I be honest?

02:54because that screams Mina energy

02:58I want to be in the red cloak.
02:59But then we were saying as well
03:01that they're going to be so anxious
03:03because even for them,
03:04it's not a comfortable,
03:05safe situation.
03:06They've not got the support
03:08of at least two other traitors
03:09when they get to the round table.
03:10They're by themselves.
03:11Yeah.
03:11So everybody's going to be
03:13feeling anxious now.
03:14You know, before it was like,
03:15the traitors have got the upper hand.
03:16Yeah.
03:16Traitors have now got to guess
03:17about the secret one,
03:19but then the secret one's
03:20going to be anxious
03:21because they're out there
03:22on their own
03:23and obviously all the faithfuls
03:24are anxious anyway.
03:25So it's just good telling.
03:27Would you have been angry
03:28as a traitor
03:28if you found out
03:29there's a secret traitor?
03:31You get there,
03:32you're like,
03:32as a traitor,
03:33you think,
03:33I want to be picked,

03:35and then you find out
03:36someone else is running the show
03:38and you're limited
03:39to who you can murder
03:40because the secret traitor
03:41ultimately gives you
03:43the options.
03:44All the power's gone.

03:46Hugo's not a happy boy.

03:50It's funny though
03:50because they get
03:51everything they wanted.
03:52Like they've obviously,
03:53they've made it to the show
03:54which is amazing.

03:56to be a traitor
03:56which they want to do
03:57and now it's like
03:58snatched away from them.

04:04because when he said before
04:05that he was a psychopathic teddy bear
04:06and I was like,
04:07this is what you want
04:08to happen to a psychopathic teddy bear.

04:14he had it all planned,
04:15didn't he?
04:15I've got a hug in my name

04:24so far as to
04:25who the secret traitor
04:26might be?
04:26We've only had one episode
04:27but has anyone
04:28spotted anything?
04:29We thought Amanda
04:29would be great
04:30and we also
04:32all warmed to Judy.

04:35but I would also
04:36happily have Judy
04:37as my mum.

04:40she'd be a really good person
04:41in kind of like
04:42a motherly instinctive way

04:45pulling all the strings

09:58are going to want

11:16from the secret traitor
11:17picking those particular names
11:18I just think they have
11:19very different ideas
11:19at this point
11:20because there's so many people
11:21aren't they

11:22so then there is
11:23there's maybe a chance
11:24that at some point
11:25the traitors
11:26start to work out
11:28who the secret traitor is

20:20like Ross and Diane
20:20had little chats
20:21on the side

20:23at breakfast that morning
20:23like mum
20:24sort yourself out
20:25kind of thing
20:26didn't he
20:26but with this
20:27it was in front of someone
20:28and she was kind of like
20:29maybe go round to the group
20:30kind of giving her advice

20:33another player advice
20:34at this point
20:35it was also with

20:46it's quite a weird thing

21:46this appears to be
21:47a genuine complete coincidence
21:49that they just happened
21:50to have met beforehand
21:51it's a long time ago as well
21:53it's not like a recent thing

21:54and Nettie's like

21:56like oh my god
21:57it's you
21:58and Ross is like
21:58whoa
21:58he's like whoa
21:59no

22:01I'm convinced
22:03that they're actually like

23:12well it was a jam-packed episode
23:14but we can't move on
23:15until we've talked about
23:16the massive first mission
23:18the coffins in the lake
23:19but it wasn't as simple
23:21as it seemed
23:22because true traitors fashion
23:23there was an extra layer
23:24of savagery
23:25whoever had a coffin
23:27with the gold symbol
23:28put into their grave
23:29that meant that they
23:31were up for murder
23:32everyone who didn't have
23:32the coffin put in
23:33technically had a shield
23:34at that point
23:35pretty brutal
23:36how do we think
23:38tactics played into this
23:39one of the groups
23:40said that they were
23:41just going for the first names
23:43that they saw
23:44which I think
23:45this early on in the game
23:47that's probably
23:47what you're best doing
23:48when you start to
23:50put people's names
23:51down for basically murder
23:53it's kind of like
23:54you're saying they're a traitor
23:55or you don't trust them
23:56or
23:57and then that's going to
23:58cause people to think
23:59well why did you pick my name
24:00I'd be upset
24:01if I was a faithful
24:02and my name
24:03was one of those ten names
24:04I'd be really upset
24:05it's like if it was anything
24:06other than just
24:07at random
24:07yeah
24:07whereas if it's random
24:09then you're like
24:09fair enough
24:10it's the first name
24:11whatever
24:11because they were all
24:12claiming random weren't they
24:13they were like
24:14just put it in the closest one
24:15well the other team
24:15there was a little bit
24:16that one team
24:17said that they had two people
24:19that they thought
24:19were maybe traitors
24:21therefore don't bother
24:23wasting it on that
24:24and then that's
24:25poor old Fiona's downfall
24:27when she got the wrong end
24:27of the ore
24:28but I'd also be upset
24:29if that was me
24:30and they'd just taken away
24:32my opportunity
24:32to have a shield
24:33I'd be like
24:33agreed
24:34yeah
24:35you're going to remember
24:36that as well aren't you
24:37it's so difficult to know
24:39whether you should put the coffin in
24:41if you suspect someone
24:42of being a traitor
24:42or you should absolutely
24:43not put the coffin in
24:44and even if you do think
24:45those things
24:46nobody wants to put
24:47stick their neck out
24:48so early on
24:49yeah
24:49I think doing the first thing
24:51yeah
24:51you see is the easiest thing to do
24:53because there's very little gameplay
24:54I think I'm just at the back of the coffin
24:55I'm holding on to it
24:56I'm saying nothing
24:57keeping quiet
24:58yeah

25:00with the new twist of the secret traitor
25:02Molly what do you think people
25:04should be looking out for
25:05on the missions
25:06in terms of suspicions
25:08the missions are going to be
25:09a good time
25:10for the traitors
25:11to look for the secret traitor
25:12I guess
25:13but
25:14anyone who's just wearing
25:16a bit of red maybe
25:17a red cloak would do it
25:18wouldn't it really
25:19that would help I think
25:20would help me
25:22first of all that
25:22the thing is the only person in there
25:24who would I think have red trousers
25:25would be Hugo
25:26and we know he's a traitor already
25:27I think
25:29the thing that
25:30people could pick up on
25:32about the secret traitor
25:33if they're a traitor
25:34is kind of anyone
25:35trying to maybe
25:36throw them under the bus
25:37and kind of give clues
25:38especially when it gets a bit
25:39deeper into the game
25:41and they need to find a traitor
25:42because it does get to that point
25:43where the faithfuls need
25:44to find a traitor
25:45because
25:46someone needs to go
25:47yeah
25:47so I think when it gets to that point
25:49and they're doing missions
25:50or even just day to day
25:52seeing who's trying to
25:53like throw you under the bus
25:54maybe might be a good way
25:55to pick them out
25:56and obviously
25:57we're narrowing it down now
25:59with like
25:59who they can murder
26:00and things like that
26:01but yeah
26:02maybe something like that
26:03could help them
26:03so who do we think
26:04is going to be the first
26:06murdered player
26:07obviously the traitors
26:07are working
26:08from the short list
26:09of James, Nettie and Maz
26:12so it's going to be
26:13one of those three
26:14oh not Maz
26:15no not Maz
26:16Maz is a sweetheart isn't he
26:17he is
26:18but I don't think
26:19it'll be James
26:19because I think
26:20he's been too vocal so far
26:22yeah
26:22therefore the traitors
26:23could do with keeping him in
26:24because he's going to be
26:25one of the hot suspects
26:26so I feel like
26:27maybe Nettie
26:29considering the connection
26:30to Ross
26:31but then do you not think
26:32there's suspicion
26:32on Nettie
26:34because of that connection
26:35right
26:35so then Maz
26:36I fear that it's going to be Maz
26:37and I don't want it to be
26:39he needs to practice
26:40his Cobra Ma
26:41yeah
26:42he wasn't quite there with it
26:44and he's not going to have time

26:47yeah I think because
26:49James has been throwing out
26:50accusations
26:51so the traitors
26:52would be silly
26:53to get rid of him
26:53because he will get himself
26:55banished
26:55that's what I think

26:57is potentially looking
26:59shifty with the Ross
27:00connection
27:01and then that leaves Maz
27:02but I don't want Maz
27:03to go
27:04and I'll be devastated
27:06if it is him
27:06isn't it funny how you

27:08like some people
27:09they're just
27:09you know not that
27:10they're not all kind
27:11but some people
27:11just radiate
27:12really kind
27:13faith
27:14there's a lot of
27:14there's a lot of
27:15very warm players
