Pierce Brosnan and Amir El-Masry 'very proud' to work on Prince Naseem biopic film Giant

Stars of a new biopic film which follows the life of  British-Yemeni boxer Prince Naseem 'Naz' Hamed declared their pride at playing their "great heroes of the boxing world".Pierce Brosnan and Amir El-Masry star in the film Giant, directed by British-Indian filmmaker Rowan Athale.

00:00We both have empathy for these men.

00:11Both very proud to play these great heroes of the boxing world.

00:23But not only that, they were heroes unto themselves as men

00:28who did good things, who wanted to entertain through boxing.

00:40Religiously watching all his fights, 12 hours a day in the gym, working out.

00:46Not just on the fights, but also on how he moves outside of the ring as well.

00:52He's a very unorthodox man in his fighting style, very unpredictable.

00:57Doesn't really necessarily go by the book.

01:00And yeah, no sleep, no rest.

01:04But it was so lovely to just be in tunnel vision for a role like this.

01:08And just kind of hone in on who he is as a person.
