Heated Rivalry startete am 28. November 2025 exklusiv auf HBO Max. Los ging es mit einer Doppelfolge und danach erschien jeweils wöchentlich eine neue Episode. Mittlerweile ist die gesamte erste Staffel verfügbar.      Hierzulande war die beliebte Sportserie noch nicht streambar. Mit dem Launch von HBO Max in Deutschland wird sich das jetzt jedoch ändern. Der Streaming-Dienst geht am 13. Januar 2026 an den Start.      Worum geht's?  Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) und Ilja Rozanov (Connor Storrie) sind zwei konkurrierende Eishockey-Superstars. Während sie auf dem Eis ihre sportliche Rivalität austragen, führen sie hinter verschlossenen Türen eine geheime Affäre. Denn ihre Karrieren und ihr privates Umfeld lassen ein öffentliches Outing nicht zu. Die Dinge werden noch komplizierter, als die beiden wahre Gefühle füreinander entwickeln.
