00:00The hubbies have entered the chat. After Ashley Tisdale accused her Hollywood mom group of being
00:05mean and toxic in a bombshell essay for the cut, it's only getting messier. While she didn't name
00:11names, Page Six reported that the alleged mommy clique included Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, and
00:16Meghan Trainor. Now the husband of one of the celebrities in the crosshairs is seemingly speaking
00:21out. Hilary Duff's husband, Matthew Coma, eviscerated Tisdale on his Instagram stories
00:27by posting a mocked-up cover of himself for New York Mag's sister site. The fake headline snarked,
00:34A mom group tell-all through a father's eyes. When you're the most self-obsessed,
00:39tone-deaf person on earth, other moms tend to shift focus to their actual toddlers. Ouch.
00:46But that's not all. Ashley Tisdale's husband, Christopher French, also stirred the pot
00:51with a cryptic post of his own. On Tuesday, he re-shared to Instagram stories a November
00:562025 post from graphic designer Tyler Spangler. It read,
01:01It's your choice whether or not to engage. The fallout comes after his wife, who famously
01:07played Mean Girl Sharpay in the high school musical movies, penned a scathing essay for
01:12the cut. Published on New Year's Day, it was titled, Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group.
01:17In it, she reflected on feeling not cool enough after being excluded from her mom friend's
01:22hangouts. I realized that there were group text chains that didn't include everyone,
01:27which led to cliques forming within the larger group. And after the third or fourth time of
01:31seeing social media photos of everyone else at a hangout that I didn't get invited to,
01:36it felt like I wasn't really part of the group after all. At that point, I had to ask myself,
01:41why am I still showing up for this? Now, with two of their spouses getting involved,
01:46it seems this messy mom drama is far from over.
