00:32I don't personify or anthropomorphize plants.
00:36The plants in my space are aesthetic objects.
00:42Oh, here's one that looks a little better.
00:45They're good for us. They're good for our soul.
00:57They're under stress because we're always pruning them and trimming them and doing things to them
01:06rather than just letting them grow like they're growing in nature.
01:09So they're really generally growing on the edge of dying.
01:14It's our job to make sure that they don't.
01:16There's something new that's opened up with this sense of what a living thing that is a plant experiences
01:31that I am now plugged into.
01:39They bring a kind of pulse to a room, a liveliness or a lifeness.
