00:00Hola, soy Alex James.
00:23hemos construido nuestro sistema anterior para poder reflejar real-world behavior.
00:27El carácter just wants to rotate so much more than I'm used to,
00:31but it's awesome.
00:33Feels like you've got a lot more control of it.
00:35The all-new EA Sports Dynamic Handling simulates the experience felt in real F1 cars,
00:40changing how the car performs while under different steering conditions.
00:44The car is more predictable, I like that a lot.
00:47But it's also more challenging,
00:49because now you also need to think about the weight of the car,
00:52and you cannot just send it.
00:55The spring and damper forces have also been revised,
00:58adding a realistic feel of weight distribution when the car is under different loads.
01:03This means players have more options when tuning their setups,
01:07and more refined control while racing.
01:10These updates of the suspension model are among the most significant we've made in the series.
01:16Working game quite a lot of time,
01:18it's definitely the exit corners.
01:20You can get your foot down if you're in the right gear a lot earlier.
01:24We've made several changes to tire wear and simulation physics,
01:32giving players a more realistic and predictable experience.
01:36An all-new thermal model provides an accurate representation on the effects heat can have on tire grip,
01:42and how this impacts overall car performance.
01:45Differences in handling, at high speed I've got all the grip in the world,
01:48but at low speed I'm fighting to hold on.
01:51A smooth driver in clean air will see their tires last longer than one who is pushing the car to the limits,
01:57in the dirty air of the car ahead.
02:00Trying to push here, build up a bit of speed, there's plenty of grip,
02:03I'm nowhere near the limit of the car right now.
02:05We're also adding a more realistic feel when driving in variable conditions.
02:10The track surface provides more driver feedback,
02:13meaning you can use it to your advantage to maximize performance.
02:21Cool your tires by driving off the racing line,
02:24and prevent them from overheating in wet conditions.
02:27The car still has a lot of grip, maybe even more than we are used to,
02:33and it's very pointy, so it turns in how you want.
02:43In addition to revolutionary tire and suspension updates,
02:46we've reworked the car's aerodynamics to add a new layer of realism.
02:51We've reworked the slipstreaming model using computational fluid dynamics,
02:55a virtual wind tunnel.
02:57This gives a more accurate effect on the forces being put through the car.
03:00When you follow another driver,
03:02you'll not only experience greater acceleration due to the reduced air resistance,
03:06but you'll also feel a reduction in grip as a result of the turbulent air.
03:11We've also improved the DRS, or drag reduction system,
03:16a crucial tool used for overtaking.
03:18It performs differently on a per-car and per-track basis,
03:23meaning a car with a broader rear wing may benefit more from DRS,
03:27due to increased drag.
03:30F124 also reflects the official team's characteristics,
03:34meaning a car designed around straight-line speed, such as the Williams,
03:38will perform better at Monza than at Monaco.
03:41We've improved aerodynamic simulation through changes to the chassis and floor profiles.
03:46Experienced players will be able to utilize ride height and performance metrics
03:50through in-game telemetry to customize setups for each circuit.
04:00The internals of the cars in F124 have been improved too.
04:03Starting with the power unit, we've redesigned how energy is harvested,
04:07allowing the driver to control energy gain in real-time.
04:12Improved throttle maps mean that players can sequentially request more power.
04:16This reduces battery wastage and creates opportunities for more advanced strategies
04:21that players can deploy mid-race.
04:24Reworks to the overtake function also improve straight-line speed performance and energy usage.
04:30For example, drivers can derate the power delivery by lifting and coasting at the end of a straight.
04:36Allowing them to save more energy for deployment later on.
04:41Whereas that detail was quite hard to pick up on F123.
04:45F124, game-changer.
04:48We're pleased to be bringing back a fan-favorite feature.
04:51ERS modes can once again be changed in all sessions from your multi-function display,
04:57meaning you can activate hotlap or overtake modes for those clutch moments
05:01where you put everything on the line for glory.
05:06Pre-order EA Sports F124 and unlock 2024 liveries in F123.
05:12An exclusive, early access content.
