00:00These products, in fact, because as I said, it is highly rich in the nutrients, they are rich in fibres, and since they are all from coconut, cocoa, and because they are all more like organic products, so I think since they are highly nutritive, I think anybody can take these products, they can commercialize, and the consumers will get the benefit.
00:24Any other research of a coconut?
00:26A lot of research is happening, because I think every year we are releasing one or two products, and we are coming out with, in fact, see, I think yesterday also we commercialized one variety, and similarly, I think in the days to come, we will come out with more varieties, and we are looking for the different agro-techniques.
00:46They are very suitable for climate resilient technology.
00:50Similarly, now we are coming out with, because yesterday also we told that we want to, especially for the pest and disease management, the application part is very, very difficult.
01:00So I think we are now going for drone-based, satellites-based, at the same time, we are developing a pole-based, target-oriented application of this pesticide and disease management techniques.
01:13So similarly, in the value addition also, we are coming out, going to come out with a number of technologies.
01:18Sir, what is the aim of the symposium, the three-day symposium?
01:21Yeah, this three-day symposium, because I think, see, I think every year, every once in two years, this symposium is held.
01:28And this is the 26th edition of this symposium, that is a plantation crop symposium, wherein all the plantation crop institutes, they will be sitting together and discussing.
01:39You know that last one year, the price of most of these plantation crops commodities is very good.
01:48But farmers could not get the benefit, mainly because in most of the crops, this productivity is less.
01:54It is attributed mainly to the climate change, as well as the pest and disease problems.
01:59Now, I think we all are sitting and working out how to tackle this problem.
02:06See, I think there are some institutes have some advantages in some areas.
02:11Others may not be having that.
02:12So now we are sharing this knowledge.
02:15And across the institute, we have to work out how best we can tackle these problems,
02:19so that farmers should not get the benefit and they should get maximum benefit of the high prices it is available in the market.
