00:00Update on LA Knight's WWE status.
00:04It's been a few weeks without LA Knight on WWE programming.
00:08But what's the status of the megastar heading into 2026?
00:11On the December 8th episode of WWE Raw, LA Knight was utterly destroyed by the vision.
00:17The closing moments of the show saw Bronson Reed hit LA Knight with a tsunami on the roof of a car,
00:22effectively writing him off television for the time being.
00:25The following week, it was announced on Raw that Knight had suffered a cracked sternum
00:30and that he was on the shelf indefinitely.
00:33But fear not, LA Knight fans, because a new report suggests the megastar will be back sooner rather than later.
00:40According to Body Slam Plus, LA Knight is expected back on WWE programming very soon.
00:46And could be back as soon as the January 5th episode of Raw.
00:50Raw goes live next week from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn,
00:53marking the first episode of the year, and effectively the one-year anniversary of the show's move to Netflix.
00:59WWE is looking to capitalize on the occasion by delivering a stacked card for the night.
01:04The lineup already includes a World Heavyweight Championship clash with CM Punk defending against Braun Breaker,
01:10a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match,
01:13as the Kabuki Warriors take on the team of Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky,
01:17and a WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship bout pitting Maxine Dupree against Becky Lynch.
01:24Adding to the intrigue, rumors continue to swirl that Chris Jericho could make a surprise return to WWE this Monday night,
01:31with his AEW contract set to expire later this evening.
01:34We'll see you next time.
