00:29Earlier today, China and South Korea signed 14 Membrandums of Understanding and agreed
00:35to launch a ministerial-level commerce dialogue channel.
00:39Beyond expanding economic cooperation, Lee is also seeking to leverage China's influence
00:44over North Korea as part of his efforts to improve ties with Pyongyang.
00:49The two leaders last met in November on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Gyeongju, a
00:54meeting Seoul described as a reset of strained relations.
00:59This later summit comes just a day after nuclear-armed North Korea fired two ballistic missiles into
