00:06Well, that's basically what we're going to do today with wrestlers,
00:10but far less mean and life-changing.

00:17That's right, this is 10 wrestlers who are in the wrong promotion.
00:22Number 10, evil.
00:23A lot of people don't like evil and the house of torture in New Japan,
00:26and I understand this.
00:28And if you're not up on all of it, it's because nearly every single one of their matches
00:33ends in shenanigans and it ends in distraction finishes,
00:36or there's interference, or there's just some kind of nonsense going outside of the ring.
00:40Now, if you predominantly watch Western wrestling, which is fine, by the way,
00:43you are allowed to pick and choose.
00:45This may sound par for the course, but New Japan doesn't really head down this path,
00:50although for the last few years, it most certainly has.
00:53People also think that people in the group, like Sho, Dick Togo,
00:56and, of course, evil are being wasted because of this.
00:59And if this is what NGPW does want to do,
01:02why don't we just take all these guys and put them in the WWE setting?
01:07Let's be honest, let's be truthful with each other.
01:09When it comes to Vince McMahon, he does that kind of finish all the time.
01:13And that's why I think you can argue maybe it's okay for New Japan,
01:16because it does mean we're doing something a little bit different.
01:18And that's also not true, because my word, this really has gone a little bit overboard.
01:24Number 9, Brian Cage.
01:25I am intrigued to see what is going to happen with Brian Cage in all Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor,
01:30because recently, of course, Cage did pop up in ROH and seems to be treated like a big deal.
01:35Ever since he did leave Lucha Underground and Impact, though,
01:38it kind of feel like he's been trying to find his way.
01:41Like when he debuted for AEW, it was like,
01:43oh man, that makes sense.
01:45But over the last few months, he hasn't really done much of anything.
01:47This, of course, leads people to go, well, why doesn't WWE sign him up,
01:51given that he is the sign of a house?
01:53But just go and listen to every single conversation Brian Cage had with World Wrestling Entertainment.
01:58And honestly, if I was him, I'd be a little bit upset too.
02:00This is why it comes back to a promotion we've already mentioned, or Impact Wrestling.
02:04If he did return to that, and once again, we made him the super duper dominant world champion,
02:09that nobody could be beat.
02:11I mean, you'll have to excuse my language, but he could basically be their Roman Reigns.
02:15But like I've already said, we don't have to worry about that for the time being,
02:18because it does seem like he has a new lease of life for Ring of Honor.
02:21I like Brian Cage.
02:22I did an interview with him a few years ago, and he very nicely talked to me about protein and lifting weights.
02:27So I'm rooting for him.
02:28Number eight, the Varsity Blunt.
02:30Now, I just want to get this out of the way straight away.
02:32I really like Brian Pillman Jr., and I really like my man Griff Garrison.
02:36I think they get better each and every single week,
02:39and in the future, are going to be one of the best tag teams on the planet.
02:43The only real issue they do have at the moment in AEW, which is a really great problem to have,
02:47is that there are so many good tag teams on the roster.
02:50Sometimes they're on Dynamite, sometimes they're not on Dynamite.
02:53The point is, it's difficult to get some TV time.
02:56This is why if they were to get an offer from WWE, or once again Impact Wrestling,
03:00maybe it would be a really good idea to jump ship,
03:02because they could get a bunch more experience,
03:04increase their star power before returning to their home of homes,
03:08and everybody waving their Varsity Blunt flag.
03:10So what I'm basically saying is that any single North American promotion,
03:13or someone like New Japan, could probably pick them up,
03:16and they'd have themselves a damn good tag team.
03:18But even if they do stay in AEW,
03:20once again, I am putting my money where my mouth is,
03:23I bet sooner or later, they're going to fly.
03:26Number 7, Ricochet.
03:27Now, I totally believe that Ricochet could be a success in WWE.
03:31The problem being, that WWE doesn't really seem to want to make him a success.
03:35I mean, he was the Intercontinental Champion during WrestleMania 38,
03:39and they didn't even put him on the damn show.
03:42And even though it's now months removed from WrestleMania,
03:45I still stare off out my window and go,
03:47wait a minute, Ricochet is a great wrestler,
03:49the Intercontinental title is brilliant,
03:51why didn't we just put these two things together?
03:54He is always going to struggle in World Wrestling Entertainment too,
03:56because they have a very specific style,
03:58which doesn't really allow him to show all his super duper good moves.
04:01So imagine he did go to New Japan where he could do crazy stuff with Will Ospreay,
04:06or of course, there's the obvious one, AEW.
04:09Because do not forget, that is the USP.
04:11When it does come to Ricky, he can do moves the likes that you've never seen.
04:16So he really should be in a company that goes,
04:18here's what we want you to do.
04:19Go out there and show the world that you're probably not human.
04:23Number 6, Butch.
04:24All right, it is honesty time once again.
04:26Butch, as I'm saying these words,
04:28has been on SmackDown for around about three or four weeks.
04:30Yes. And he's won me over.
04:32I know it's stupid, and I know it's weird,
04:35but do I look forward to seeing him?
04:36Yes. And do I find it entertaining?
04:39Yes.
04:39The thing is, though, if you do know Pete Dunne's history,
04:42and just how good he is in the damn ring,
04:44you're going to have to figure that this character may hold him back a little bit.
04:47Like, are we ever going to get to the WrestleMania main event,
04:50where the announcer goes, and the winner, Butch?
04:53Probably not.
04:54So really, he does need to be somewhere where he can constantly remind you
04:57that he is the bruiserweight.
04:58So once again, we can throw AEW in there.
05:00Oh, yes.
05:01New Japan.
05:02I mean, there is no bad fit for Pete Dunne,
05:04as long as he is allowed to go in the ring.
05:07Once again, I don't have a leg to stand on.
05:10I've totally bought into the sports entertainment presentation of him.
05:14So maybe I should just go walk into a door.
05:16Number 5, Chad Gable.
05:17Now, this one is a lot like Butch,
05:19because if we do look at the last few months,
05:21Chad Gable is one of the best people in all of WWE,
05:24and he has been doing terrific work.
05:26The thing is, eventually his whole shoosh and thank you gimmicks
05:30are going to come to an end,
05:31and if WWE, repeating myself here,
05:33doesn't allow everybody to see how good he is in the squared circle,
05:38well, he may once again find himself on main event,
05:40and I don't want this.
05:41Which is why this time,
05:42I'm just going to throw out the initials NJPW,
05:45because they have so many good workers,
05:47that when I think about Ospreay vs. Chad Gable,
05:50or Tyler Hushy vs. Chad Gable,
05:52well, I get excited in my tum-tum.
05:54There's also Zack Sabre Jr.,
05:56and I tell you,
05:56if they ever are able to wrestle,
05:58and they're allowed to do whatever the flub they want,
06:01I bet straight away people are going,
06:03oh my gosh, it's a match for the year contender,
06:05because both of those guys,
06:07well, they just operate on a different level.
06:09Number 4, Gunther.
06:10I don't want to get ahead of myself here,
06:12because Gunther slash Walter,
06:13slash whatever you want to call him,
06:15has only just arrived on SmackDown
06:16of me saying these words,
06:18and he does fit the WWE mold,
06:20e.g. he's flipping massive.
06:22So we do need to be patient,
06:23and we do need to wait and see,
06:25because if all of a sudden,
06:26he is fighting for the top belt,
06:27and allows to chop the ship out of people,
06:30I'm going to be invested.
06:31But when it comes to Gunther Walter again,
06:33whatever the hell we want to call him,
06:35it shouldn't be a wait and see,
06:36it should be,
06:37right, you know all those matches he's done in the past,
06:39let's just replicate them on the biggest stage puzzle.
06:42This is why I would actually like to see him
06:43in Ring of Honor.
06:44It's much like a Samoa Joe situation.
06:46Would I have tuned in to ROH
06:48if I didn't have familiar names?
06:50Maybe, maybe not.
06:51But if all of a sudden Joe is there,
06:53and all of a sudden Jay Lethal is there,
06:54and all of a sudden Walter is there,
06:56well, I'm going to find an extra hour in my schedule.
06:58I mean, right here,
06:59you have a ready-made,
07:00serious,
07:01main event competitor,
07:03that anybody,
07:04both new fans and old fans,
07:05will completely buy,
07:07just by looking at them.
07:09And that kind of stuff doesn't go on trees.
07:11Imagine it did,
07:12he wouldn't go outside.
07:13Number three,
07:14Will Ospreay.
07:14This one is just me being a massive nerd,
07:16a massive geek,
07:17and fantasy booking.
07:18But really,
07:19Will Ospreay has achieved
07:20every single thing
07:21he could want to achieve in New Japan.
07:24I mean,
07:24his exploits there
07:25have put him into the conversation of,
07:27oh man,
07:28maybe he's the best wrestler in the world,
07:30and you can't go higher than that.
07:31Which is why,
07:32and this is going to spark the comments,
07:34I want to see him go to WWE.
07:36Now,
07:36I do have my reasonings,
07:37I do have my evidence,
07:38because look at what they did for Cody Rhodes
07:40when he returned at Wrestlemania.
07:42I have been loving the ship out of that,
07:45and I want to see more people jump ship,
07:46and I want to feel that feeling again.
07:48Also,
07:48the dream match that nobody wants,
07:49but everybody should need,
07:51is Will Ospreay versus Roman Reigns.
07:53Like,
07:53I can't even comprehend what would happen here,
07:56which is why,
07:57I'm standing on my fantasy box,
07:59and I'm hoping that it happens.
08:00You can even put him against the likes of
08:02Edge,
08:03Randy Orton,
08:03or Brock Lesnar,
08:04and once again,
08:05I need this in my life,
08:06although I will level with you.
08:08You can put Ospreay anywhere,
08:11and he'll find a way to smash it.
08:13Number two,
08:13Kenny Omega.
08:14So this is me basically repeating what I just said,
08:16and if Kenny Omega wants to stay in AEW
08:18for the rest of his days,
08:20I will absolutely love it.
08:21I mean,
08:22he has barely scratched the surface,
08:23and I tell you,
08:24in around about five years,
08:25we're going to look at Kenneth and going,
08:27he probably won the best ever.
08:29But,
08:29once again,
08:30I want to see him in WWE.
08:31I just do.
08:32I can't help it.
08:33I have this dark side of my personality,
08:35this dark side of my stomach,
08:36because he is so creative,
08:38and he approaches things in such a mature,
08:40and such a smart way,
08:41I bet he would do something that we would never think that he was going to do.
08:45I'd also love it to be at WrestleMania,
08:47so he as well got this massive entrance.
08:49But again,
08:49it's a win-win.
08:50I can't lose.
08:51He stays on one side,
08:52I'm happy.
08:53He goes to the other side,
08:54I'm happy.
08:54And this is why it's important that we do have competition,
08:57because it breeds all this craziness,
08:59and craziness is where success lies.
09:02I don't even know what that meant.
09:03Number one,
09:04Mustafa Ali.
09:05And I still cannot believe that this hasn't happened,
09:08because a few months ago,
09:09whenever it was,
09:10Mustafa Ali said,
09:11hey,
09:11I would like my release WWE.
09:13They said no,
09:14and ever since have proceeded to do absolutely nothing with him.
09:20I mean,
09:20that just ain't right.
09:21But this happened so many times before,
09:23with the likes of Neville or Luke Harper,
09:24and it never goes the way that WWE is expecting it.
09:28So if they do want to bring him back into the fold and pushed him,
09:31hey,
09:31hey,
09:31that's a couple of thumbs.
09:32But if not,
09:33set the man free and let him fly.
09:35And he could go anywhere too.
09:36If you told me he was going to be in the G1,
09:38I'd go watch the G1.
09:39If you told me he was going to be the new champion in Impact,
09:41I'd go watch Impact.
09:42And of course,
09:43if he turned up in AEW,
09:45I would keep everything crossed at final.
09:47If finally,
09:48he was allowed to show everyone how good he is.
09:50I mean,
09:50sometimes things just don't work out.
09:53So if WWE and Artly aren't getting on right now,
09:56just let him wrestle.
09:58I don't care where it is.
10:00So tying into the name of his list,
10:01the answer is anywhere but WWE,
10:04just so I can admire his many,
10:07many talents.
