00:00Samsung's new Freestyle Plus projector uses AI to light up your wall.

00:05Samsung is rolling into CES 2026 with a refreshed Freestyle portable projector,

00:11now called the Freestyle Plus,

00:13and it's basically a brighter, smarter version of the cute little can-style projector you've seen all over TikTok.

00:21Samsung says the Freestyle Plus is now twice as bright as the last model,

00:25hitting 430 isolumens, which should make a noticeable difference

00:29if you're trying to throw a movie on a wall that isn't perfectly dark.

00:34You still get the same compact design, 180-degree swivel, and 360-degree audio,

00:39so it's meant to be tossed around the house or taken on trips instead of living permanently on a TV stand.

00:45Earlier Freestyle units already did autofocus and autoleveling,

00:49but Freestyle Plus leans harder into Samsung's AI stack with what it calls AI OptiScreen.

00:54That adds 3D auto-keystone for fixing warped images on janky or uneven walls,

01:00real-time focus when you move the projector,

01:03automatic screen fit with compatible accessories,

01:05and wall calibration to tone down visual noise from whatever surface you're using.

01:10It will also plug into Samsung's Vision AI companion,

01:14so expect more software tie-ins on the smart features front.

01:18On the audio side, Freestyle Plus supports Samsung's Q-Symphony feature,

01:22meaning it can sync with select Samsung soundbars instead of relying only on its built-in 360-degree speakers.

01:30For anyone already in the Samsung TV-slash-soundbar ecosystem,

01:33that makes this feel less like a toy projector

01:35and more like a flexible extra screen for the setup you already own.

01:40Samsung isn't talking price yet and isn't giving a firm ship date,

01:43but it says Freestyle Plus is slated for the first half of 2026 with a staggered global rollout.
