00:00If the criminals survive a hundred days together,
00:02I will give them half a million dollars.
00:04What's going on?
00:05Nice to officially meet you.
00:06Nice to meet you. Lenny.
00:07Ian.
00:08You guys want to be uncuffed?
00:10That'd be great.
00:12Now that that's out the way,
00:14if either of you decide to leave,
00:16you both get nothing.
00:18Have you guys ever seen half a million dollars in real life?
00:20Never.
00:21Well, I owed half a million when I got out of prison.
00:23Does that count?
00:24How long were you a cop?
00:2517 years.
00:26How long were you a... criminal?
00:30Three years in federal prison.
00:31How do these compare to the prison you're in?
00:33These are a little thicker and we have a pillow.
00:35You didn't get a pillow when you're in prison.
00:36They don't give you a pillow.
00:37Well, aside from the pillow,
00:38this prison is a one-to-one replica
00:41of what an actual prison would be like.
00:43Dude, he's got the real prison toilet.
00:45Wow.
00:46We're gonna feed you guys three times a day.
00:48We're gonna cut the lights off at the same time every night,
00:50and we're gonna give you a wake-up call every morning.
00:52Good luck.
00:58These seats are cold.
00:59Uncomfortable.
01:00Cold.
01:01Hard.
01:02As always, we have a ton of cameras monitoring their every move.
01:04They're looking for everything that we're saying,
01:06so anything that we say...
01:07They're gonna get ideas.
01:08Today was the first time that this cop
01:09and this criminal have ever met.
01:11And we didn't know it yet,
01:12but over the course of this video,
01:13Ian and Lenny quickly became enemies.
01:16There's gonna be stealing.
01:18I am now the smuggling combat.
01:20So because I'm not religious, it's an issue?
01:22Whoa, I didn't say that.
01:23We're gonna need a DMT.
01:24We're gonna need a DMT.
01:25And even betrayal.
01:26You're Lenny the Snitch.
01:27This is brutal.
01:28Will they make it the entire hundred days?
01:31Or will one of them screw the other?
01:33All I wanna do is go home with all the money,
01:35and if I have to strangle a cop, so be it.
01:37Dibs on bottom bunk.
01:39Nah, I'm taking the bottom bunk.
01:40Whatever old man.
01:41In prison it goes by the elder respect,
01:43so whoever's older gets to decide first.
01:45What if he snores at night?
01:47I do.
01:48Good night.
01:49Hey, what about a warning?
01:51Alright, criminal, get some rest.
01:58Good morning.
01:59It is way too early.
02:01This stupid cop was snoring all night.
02:03Snoring kept me up.
02:04He did?
02:05Yeah.
02:06So I think it's like judging by the sky
02:08like maybe 6 or 7 a.m. right now.
02:11The first night.
02:12Jimmy, I gotta say,
02:13that really did feel like prison.
02:15The most important question,
02:16what were you locked up for?
02:17Brought in money laundering,
02:18so I started lying,
02:19borrowing money from this person
02:20to pay this person.
02:21Lost everyone's money,
02:22but the problem became
02:23I lied about the losses.
02:24So I ended up with $500,000 of debt.
02:27Which, coincidentally,
02:28is the same amount of money
02:29they could win in this video.
02:31Meal time.
02:32Guys, we got our first meal in prison right here.
02:35This actually looks better than prison.
02:36Ian, the criminal, seems to be right at home here.
02:39It's actually pretty cozy down here.
02:40While Lenny, the cop,
02:41is fighting to adapt to prison life.
02:43I've locked people up my whole life,
02:45so it's weird to be on the other end of it.
02:46I'm telling you what time I gotta go to sleep,
02:48what time I'm gonna be waking up,
02:50and what time I'm gonna be eating.
02:51Like, that's a wild, crazy adjustment for me.
02:53Good morning.
02:54Ian and Lenny's relationship
02:56was off to a bit of a rocky start.
02:58I think I might sleep on the floor for the snoring.
03:00Probably so annoying.
03:01That was so annoying.
03:02I've officially moved my bed,
03:04and hopefully it will deflect Mr. Lenny's snoring.
03:07Even with the tension between them
03:08and Ian's lack of sleep,
03:10the cop and criminal had to do something
03:12to cure their boredom.
03:13They worked together to create a basketball hoop
03:15with their bed frame.
03:16This is a dope idea.
03:17And even utilized it as a pull-up bar.
03:20I was not athletic my first prison go-around,
03:22so I'm making it up my second one.
03:24There we go.
03:25They heard that they wanted some workout equipment.
03:27I'm trying to turn a jail body into a beach body.
03:29And as usual,
03:30I had something for them on day 10
03:31that might help them out.
03:34Officer Beast reporting...
03:37Officer Beast reporting for duty.
03:39Let's see how our prisoners are doing.
03:40How's it going, boys?
03:41Board and Jimmy!
03:43I see you dismantled the bed here.
03:44Well, I'm living with Snorlax over here.
03:46Snorlax?
03:47What, you snore?
03:48Apparently, but I don't believe it.
03:52What do you think the day 10 offer is?
03:54Personal chef.
03:55Above.
03:56A library.
03:57What if it was none of the above?
03:58Oof.
03:59Follow me, boys.
04:00This locked door is the first of many restricted areas
04:03that I will reveal throughout the course of this video.
04:05Guards, unlock the door.
04:09Right this way.
04:10Welcome to the prison yard.
04:12Out here, you'll have everything you need
04:14to stay fit for the next 90 days.
04:16Yeah, let's go.
04:17For one hour a day,
04:18you'll have access to a pull-up bar, a basketball goal.
04:21Just soak it in.
04:22This would make time go by so much faster.
04:24Oh, it feels great seeing the sun.
04:26Are you ready to hear the offer?
04:27Yes, we are.
04:28Yes.
04:29All right, come on in.
04:30I'll lock the interrogation room.
04:31Area.
04:32Unlocked.
04:33All right, come on in.
04:34Have a seat.
04:35All right.
04:36Now that you're in separate rooms
04:37with no ability to communicate with each other,
04:39the day 10 offer is.
04:41If you guys want the recreational area,
04:43it's gonna cost you $50,000 of your prize pool.
04:46If you both accept it, it's yours for 50 grand.
04:49Well, where this gets interesting
04:50is if one of you accept it and the other doesn't,
04:53you still pay the 50 grand for the prize pool,
04:55but only one of you gets access to it
04:57for the rest of the video.
04:59This is not what I was expecting.
05:01You've had 10 days in this prison
05:03to get to know each other,
05:04but can you predict what the other person will choose?
05:07Oh, my goodness.
05:08It's a big decision
05:09because this affects the next 90 days.
05:11I'm tired of looking like the bad guy in life.
05:13You know what the good guy would do,
05:15but being the good guy for 90 days kind of sucks.
05:18I don't want to cry.
05:19All right, you've both made your decision.
05:21They have no idea what each other chose.
05:24Want to kick us off?
05:25I said yes.
05:26I haven't told him what you chose yet.
05:29Say yes.
05:34My view on the money aspect
05:36has changed drastically.
05:38I'm willing to spend money
05:39to live more comfortably
05:40to get through this time here.
05:41Who knows?
05:42We might not make it to the end
05:43if we pass up the things
05:44that could make our situation more comfortable.
05:47Some money is better than no money.
05:48That's the way that I see it.
05:49Good morning.
05:52Good morning.
05:53It was crazy to see that
05:55in our day of recreation time
05:57made them feel like they could stay here
05:58for a hundred days.
06:00Wow.
06:01Freedom, baby.
06:02Definitely worth the 50K.
06:0350 grand well spent.
06:05Over the next couple of days,
06:07they took full advantage
06:08of everything the yard had to offer.
06:10Gonna come out of here
06:11looking like savages.
06:12For now, it seems like the wreck yard
06:14allowed them to tolerate each other
06:16enough to survive.
06:17But there were some things
06:18about this challenge
06:19that they didn't handle so well.
06:20Because I built this set
06:22to be just like a real prison.
06:24And we all know prison food
06:25is not that good.
06:26This is Warden Jimmy's version
06:27of a meatloaf.
06:28Like a frozen burger,
06:29probably defrosted
06:30with some gravy on it.
06:32This food is absolute butt cheeks.
06:34I had no idea the people
06:35I arrested were eating this.
06:36I really don't know
06:37how much longer I could eat this.
06:39I would not wish this upon
06:40my worst enemy,
06:41what's going on right now.
06:42And that's why on day 20,
06:43I had the perfect thing for them.
06:45Are you ready for the day 20 offer?
06:47Yes.
06:48Yes.
06:49Let's go.
06:50Kitchen unlocked.
06:52In this kitchen is all the ingredients
06:53and cooking equipment you'll need
06:54to cook delicious and healthy meals
06:55for the rest of your time in this prison.
06:57You can continue eating the prison meals
06:58which you don't like,
06:59or if you don't like.
07:00Or if you don't like the prison
07:01is going to have to make the decision
07:02that you have to live with.
07:03Is going to have to make the decision
07:04for both of you.
07:05Which one of you
07:06wants to make the decision
07:07that both of you will have to live with?
07:09Alright, I'll just let you rock.
07:10Okay.
07:11Oh really?
07:12You trusted that much?
07:13Of course we did.
07:14Okay.
07:15We talked a lot.
07:16Yeah.
07:17Okay.
07:18prison meals which you don't like or take this kitchen and eat whatever you want for breakfast
07:23lunch and dinner every single day you just have to give up your yard time every day
07:29do you know what the offer is it's trade the wreck yard for a kitchen me personally i would
07:34rather have the food could have fun cooking throughout the day we can make creations do we
07:38have any meat do we have any meat what do you think we got some beef patties some hot dogs
07:44everything you can want okay okay but here's the thing you're not just deciding for you what do
07:49you think your partner would think oh man i don't know what he'd want me to do well i'll give you a
07:53minute to choose ian i gave your roommate the choice to trade the recreation yard for a fully stocked
08:03kitchen i already know what he picked he picked keep the yard time yeah he didn't even consider
08:07my offer guys every single day you complain about the food i thought you're gonna take it you know
08:11what i that was a little easier than i thought day 30 i'm gonna make it not so easy on you guys
08:17oh all right bye warden jimmy not giving up this rack yard for nothing another day in paradise it's
08:27been a full 24 hours since my bunkie and i made the decision to turn down the kitchen we're not feeling
08:32the least bit of regret you feeling any regret over there none we're so happy we're not cooped up all day
08:38i can't wait to see my wife's reaction she's gonna be like ain't no way that you didn't take that
08:42basketball court ain't no way you didn't take being outside despite being happy with the results of
08:47their challenge they were also beginning to think about what they were missing outside of the prison
08:51what i have to remember is why i'm here and what my purpose is winning that money for my family is
08:58the ultimate goal i got my wife i have a beautiful family i can't back out of this because everybody else is
09:04dependent on me it must be nice having a wife and kids
09:11i did a year without my family i mean i saw my dad once in that year for two days
09:18once i didn't see my brother or my mom for a year really that's that
09:28limited to an hour of yard time a day can't wait for yard time
09:32they grew restless and found creative ways to pass the time before the next challenge
09:37catch up dodgeball get out of here copper
09:41we're gonna need a dmt wrap me up officer am i gonna lose it i'll lose a breath
09:49our inmates have now been living in this prison for 30 days let's see how they're doing what up boys
09:54hey warden jimmy guys you're a month into it how's it been it's been good come on inside fellas
09:59there's a new area of the prison that we're going to unlock right now unlock the library door
10:06are you serious seriously and there are literally hundreds of books in here we got
10:10magazines wait hold up here's the catch access to this library is 100 free but only one of you gets it
10:19for the next 70 days one of you will get to go in here for an hour and read the other will not oh for
10:26an hour every day and you can't bring the books out and not bring the books out that is strictly
10:30forbidden what's what else is included in there all right we'll do a tour you have lots of books in
10:34here they got a bible look at this this right here will get me through this is the only book that i
10:39need what's the computer you gotta i put that back leave it to him to try to steal book this bad boy will
10:45play tetris and minesweeper got some more books over here oh man this is tough disrespectful i'm gonna need
10:51you guys to step out i'll give you guys a couple hours to negotiate amongst each other good luck
10:56deciding i'm not happy with this are you guys like reading this much have you ever been locked up no
11:01actually we're dying in here okay i'll be back in two hours for your decision one of us always has to
11:06suffer in mr beast prison we got to talk it out just like we do everything else hopefully it doesn't
11:11come down to me putting him in a headlock after i left ian and lindy kind of avoided each other this
11:18sucks agonizing over my offer it was literally so close i'm not asking for any other books i just
11:24want one we have to come up with something we can't just do nothing this library i mean it's meant
11:30obviously to pit us against each other so what's on your mind you're the philosophical one i think
11:35that we have no choice but to take it because it's a freebie it's too good to pass up the question
11:39is though is who takes it right now i'm shooting hoops and i'm still pretty happy with the decision
11:46that we made in regards to that so i'm going to put the bowl in your court because you put the
11:51bowl in my court for the last one oh sorry trying to kill me out here bro it seems like a fair trade
11:57to put the library decision on ian but there was one thought that lenny just couldn't shake i should
12:02have my bible with all honesty why do you think that you deserve the library more than me just like
12:08what i need to help get me to 100 days you know you possibly wanting to cop out as a result is
12:13i don't know what makes you think you deserve the library then
12:20it's not just for entertainment so because i'm not religious it's an issue whoa i didn't say that
12:26i just feel like you're changing up on me out of the blue for no reason right now then we just go
12:30with no books if that's the way it's got to be bro all right it's whatever bro it's just really
12:35making me second guess honestly this whole thing's getting ridiculous too bad you don't have a book to
12:40distract you i think we're ready for the warden at this point guys it looked like this cop and
12:44criminal might have landed back at square one but nonetheless their time was up all right i'm ready
12:52for your decision is it you or is it you that is getting library time every day for the next 70 days
12:59jimmy the thing is
13:04looks like i'm gonna be getting that library time you are yep you're giving it to him i was a little
13:09concerned it's been a hard last couple hours why did you give it to him when it came down to the yard
13:15i said yes without hesitation he was cool he was in 25 000 that's the only thing that he's wanted so i had
13:22to do him the justice you're lucky he's a good man he's a good cop i didn't expect that from a cop i was
13:27wrong i feel like that wasn't necessary he just gave you a library
13:35it was ian's first day with access to the new library and right away he got to work to ensure
13:40that lenny wouldn't be left out i believe this is what he's looking for i know how important the bible
13:45is to lenny so i'm writing down quotes from it that i can share with him thank you i appreciate it
13:51i gotta live through you care asleep through me you know the fact that he's sharing it shows that he's a
13:56good bunkie but no later than the very next morning did ian begin to test the limits found a
14:02little artwork we can hang up somewhere said we can't bring books out but i'm just smuggling pages
14:07out wow that's pretty cool and over the next couple days it wasn't just ian having all the fun
14:12we got some artwork and the prison began to change making this place look nice and even with cameras
14:19aimed at them 24 7. ian's inner criminal finally came out there was no way i was gonna leave him
14:26out there struggling with no bible no books nothing to do and i was in here enjoying myself this thing
14:31is a beauty that's all i need while i'm in here they carried on as if they'd never be caught enjoying
14:36the materials my new name's smuggler bick the smuggling convict i literally have books hidden
14:42everywhere here in the bathroom look at that in here we're just gonna keep getting as many books as
14:47possible hidden all over this place it's day 40. how's it going guys we have a surprise but we can
14:53only take one at a time you guys have to decide who goes first rock paper scissors shoot he got me he goes
15:02we've opened our very own shop you're gonna have some decisions to make we come through all the
15:08prisoners conversations and stock this store full of the items that they wanted and it ranges from this
15:13mystery box which could literally have anything inside all the way down to this handball that in
15:17the outside world would cost a dollar but in this prison every single thing here is 10 grand a handball
15:23for ten thousand dollars but of course they were only allowed to spend the money that they were competing
15:28for and i have to decide now yeah i'm gonna take the mystery box ten thousand dollars pleasure doing
15:35business with you and while lenny was happy with just the mystery box ian's criminal spending habits
15:40resurfaced oh wow this is actually pretty cool if i spend too much money lenny's gonna get really
15:45mad getting a little nervous here this is a hundred percent gonna be my first purchase of the day
15:49see the thing is at least he knows what he's getting i have no clue what's in it this is a great
15:53package for 10 grand don't buy too much ian i'd like the melatonin and the clippers
15:58we're gonna have some fun in here buddy but how much did you spend 30 000 and honestly i am so happy
16:04right now i got clippers for us i got you the sleep mask if i really needed those things i would have
16:09spent the 10k on them listen i went to prison for spending a lot of money so i couldn't resist there
16:14was just dollar signs everywhere do you want to see what's in the mystery box
16:2120 grand come on he's making money i think now we have enough to keep us busy to the point we don't
16:29need to spend anything else and now that the boys had some of the items they wanted they were able to
16:33pass time more easily they made art with the ten thousand dollar colored pencils and my first of
16:39the colored ones for the walls
16:46somebody can get this guy new level of boredom did they have a diagnosis with adhd
16:54and lenny gave in the most expensive haircut of his life now the guards will finally be afraid of me
17:00and eventually lenny came to appreciate what ian bought from i gotta keep it real with you these
17:06earplugs and the melatonin they definitely come through in the clutch really helps me get some extra
17:11rest thanks you're welcome buddy but they still wanted one thing that they couldn't buy in a store
17:16tomorrow's day 50 challenge day hoping it's family or a phone call toughest plot is being away from my
17:22family would you spend money on a phone call yeah i'd spend money on a phone call which is why i have the
17:27perfect offer for day 50. boys it's day 50. before i reveal the day 50 offer i need to show you two
17:40some clips let's do it here's you one day smuggling the books into your pants eventually you started
17:47carrying so little that you literally threw the books out of the library and then you just flat out
17:52walked out of there with the books day 50 is a huge milestone your families are sitting outside
17:58in a prison bus and we were going to celebrate it by bringing in both of your families for free but
18:04because you broke the rules only one of you gets to see your families instead of both of you
18:10and this will be the only time that you can see your family before the end of the hundred days
18:16warden's playing dirty the only thing i think i've been very consistent about to see in my family so
18:21who's it gonna be my man's gonna see his family today really appreciate that how does that make
18:29you feel i just see him honoring me just like i honored him it's like i'm gonna be getting that
18:33library time and uh he's kind of also the reason why we're being punished this man is working with
18:41the cops right now are you kidding me confiscate all the perfectly serious oh and there's one more twist
18:47you can keep your family as long as you want but he doesn't leave solitary until they leave okay
18:52wow this is brutal taylor take him to solitary i'm happy but i feel horrible at the same time
18:58yeah just don't sneak books out man i'm gonna keep sneaking the book tower
19:02spoken like a true criminal close the door have fun oh man this is brutal come on inside
19:08lady's waiting to see you guys that's so freaking adorable
19:26what's it like seeing your dad in orange instead of blue very weird
19:33your family can stay in here as long as you want just know your partner doesn't leave solitary until
19:37they leave have fun everybody thanks
19:45i'm happy to have my family here with me apparently i could keep them here as long as possible it's
19:50definitely going to be a recharge for me as well and make me want to push through to get to day 100.
19:55i want everybody in the family to be proud of me not just the people that are here
19:59we're all counting on you i got you hearing lenny and his family out there just chilling and i'm stuck
20:06in here locked up like a dog every minute i'm standing in here i just get more and more mad
20:12that i'm sitting in the solitary it gives you ptsd it sucks ian got some time to think about things
20:18but as the hours went on lenny spending more time with his family only made ian more mad
20:24ian your time is up i'll tell you what i figured out your nickname while i was in there though oh yeah what
20:30what you got you got you're lenny the snitch he's kind of also the reason why we're being punished
20:35you're adding me out of my book supply bro look at this i got wiped cleared come out here laying
20:41down the law why's that i'm a little upset bro i've been stuck in there you're having a good meal
20:45you know what i got i got nothing bro you volunteered to do it so why complain you threw me right under
20:50the bus saying it was my idea for the smuggle everything was on video but i'm just saying you could
20:54have just we could have stand united you snitched everybody i didn't snitch you out they did not know
20:59it got under the bed bro they have camera footage what are you talking about they have they have
21:03camera footage go under the bed so you want to hear me talk or you you just want to express your
21:08feelings or you just say you just all i'm saying is this watch what you say that's what i'm saying
21:14okay well you made your decisions i make my decisions it is what it is you know you snitched me out
21:21i'm just definitely feeling in a bit more of a somber mood today i got to see my family
21:31ian did it definitely changed the atmosphere as a result of that they didn't want to play any chess
21:36they didn't want to play basketball lenny and i have definitely been talking a lot less he has his
21:41routine i have my routine and that's all there is kind of really to it even with the divide lenny couldn't
21:47help but worry about his friend you're right buddy i'm depressed what's the matter i'm ready to go home
21:53not enough even though it was only halfway through the challenge ian was ready to call a quiz oh man
22:00i can't wait to go home all i want to do is go home i'm just fed up lenny will have to find a way
22:06to rekindle their friendship because they can leave at any point and if ian goes home they both lose
22:11everything gentlemen board and jimmy i have good news for the both of you our day 60 offer that
22:20will help bring you back together hey chandler bring it on in here we come oh tv look at this thing
22:29i know this tv is old but it's what you're getting since you are in prison and you can watch these
22:34movies on it over the next 40 days were you guys born in the 50s with some of these movies well you
22:39don't want to watch movies and the board games are included of course you can have all this for
22:44one hour a day for the measly price of thirty thousand dollars i think this man's losing it
22:50i don't know it's kind of tempting okay an hour a day an hour a day for 40 hours of entertainment jimmy
22:56you can't even watch a movie in an hour you just watch an hour of a movie we take it away and then the
23:01next day you watch the other hour of the movie the movie selection not really my cup of tea this is a
23:05terrible deal hard no no no no hey i thought you guys were bored no worries chandler wheel it on
23:12out ah man hold up chandler pat him down i didn't do anything pat him down oh my gosh in the underwear
23:20and he's looking for sympathy after the last time he broke the rules get it out of here before he
23:24steals anymore bye tv bye vcr bye titanic ian was not happy with the offers which was making lenny
23:31worried that ian might leave i just feel like i'm getting brutalized every 10 days now no family
23:37not even a phone call pretty miserable honestly i could definitely feel myself having a bit more of
23:42a short fuse kind of gets annoying there's always something to complain about with this guy i feel
23:47like i got hit by a bus a second time i do not want to be here anymore i'm definitely starting to
23:52get worried he's gonna quit i want to go home i want to go home he says i'm just gonna be thinking
23:57about that dogging he dogged me on that last challenge i got dog dog dog dog dog dog man i
24:03wish this guy would shut up already but because i had my biggest offer planned for day 80 i decided
24:08not to give them anything on day 70 so that they'd have to heal the divide themselves
24:15you're actually in this thing when you're in the belly of the beast it's hard been very depressing and
24:20sad the last few weeks all you could do is read work out play chess it's definitely mentally
24:25challenging i just want to go home what are those days huh i'm saying he feels like he wants to go
24:31home it's going to be an uphill battle just got to keep this guy on board because either one of these
24:35contestants can leave at any time lenny was continually worried that ian would leave early
24:41and lose them both all the money they have worked for what time is it time for you to get a watch i was
24:46gonna ask if you want to play chess but i'll go back and have a seat his name's leonard aka the
24:51snitching convict you've snitched on yourself you gotta correct himself up yo we got the snitching
24:59convict you're the real convict not i it became clear that ian wasn't going to let certain things
25:05go here there was only an option for a visit once and only lenny got the visit desperate to stay in the
25:10challenge lenny knew he had to lift ian's spirits if they were going to make it to the end life is good
25:15no which makes me miserable but things only got worse i don't think i would have any problem
25:21walking out of here early being here with ian i'm feeling negative the whole time i feel frustrated
25:28if they give me an offer to take less money i'm gonna take that what to leave yeah i'm out of here
25:33at this point with only 20 days left it looked like they were about to fail so i had an idea my next
25:40offer was an opportunity to rekindle their friendship or the final factor that could bring
25:46this entire video to an end oh boy oh what do we got here what the in front of you is a 2 000 pound boulder
25:54inside of which is a key that will unlock a box containing 100 000 if you want that money you will
26:01have one hour a day for the next 10 days to break this rock open and get the key by accepting this risk
26:07you give me that 50 000 right now but if you complete it i will give you a hundred thousand
26:13dollars if you guys want a shot at pulling this off you will have to work together i'll give you guys
26:19some time to decide we just got to grind it out you know yeah i know you don't like to sweep but you're
26:23gonna have to put in your work on this one are we both gonna be able to whack at this thing no we're
26:27gonna be good you gotta we just we'll be fine there's no way letty i feel like this is a highway robbery
26:34now do you guys think you have what it takes to take on this challenge we got this
26:41we got this do we absolutely all right you brought this on yourselves boys take away the
26:46fifty thousand dollars just be easy with it because we're gonna get that back soon it's gone
26:50be easy with it inmates your first hour begins now for the entire first hour they hammered the boulder
26:57non-stop this is hard i think we just lost 50 grand i hate it here we have nine hours left to get
27:05through this rock but despite their lack of progress the next day they came outside and got started right
27:10away we got a hustle we don't got no time to play three minute counts there it is and even though it
27:16was only their second hour with the rock ian was already settling into more of a hype man role come on
27:23lenny oh there we go there we go lenny everything we got on this lenny and ian watched from the
27:28sidelines all the way through day four oh man very disappointing day all i know is i'm spent yeah
27:37i'm pretty fried we have to work as a team i think ian could tell that lenny was disappointed because the
27:45next morning he had a pretty big shift in his mindset let's go yeah boy and when lenny tapped out
27:51ian stepped up let me try hammer it so we can get that key now it was both of them together versus
27:56the boulder someone's putting in that work we got a real chisel we're getting major progress right here
28:01as you can see there's giant cracks there you go there it is oh she blows
28:08we got hope now boys they call me the rock slayer you got 18 minutes we're gonna be close to this thing
28:14and even though they were working as a team an hour a day for 10 days is a pretty tight deadline
28:20inmate your sixth hour is up one for the rock zero for the inmates for today we made no progress no
28:27progress there is a thing that's gonna help us get that key to get that hundred thousand dollars
28:34each new day they swung hundreds of times but the rock wasn't budging we did a lot of work no major
28:40progress we might not make it i'm not sure if we lose that 50 grand i'm gonna quit ian realized that
28:45force wasn't enough what they needed was knowledge it's gotta be an answer in here oh a book about
28:50rocks i ripped out the pages that had to do with our exact task it says we need to use leverage you
28:57think it could fit under this oh yeah push it that way so i could stack weights under too hold
29:04but they still couldn't even put a dent into the rock this is a grind i'm tired of you rock sickness
29:09the rock was too heavy to lift so with two days left ian went back to his book to search for more
29:15answers there's another uh picture right here i was able to find it looks like we're supposed to use a
29:20chisel on a weak point in the rock this is kind of the weak spot oh it's coming apart look at this
29:26just split money dude the whole rock split it off yeah we might literally make a hundred thousand dollars today
29:36not getting any movement your ninth hour is up man we had a good momentum but we ran out of time
29:43we are almost through this thing it's going to be the final day this rock is no joke no it's not
29:51way harder than i expected it to be i think at this point it's 50 50 if we get through this thing
29:59i'm ready to go inmates it's wreck time suit up it's rock sling time
30:07this rock is going down ladies and gentlemen your final hour starts now
30:11it's going to be a little deeper yeah we gotta go a little deeper that's a thick freaking slab let's
30:18get this thing out of here look at this you got a key yet there's hope yeah the key's got to be in
30:24here you have 15 minutes remaining you better hurry up on this this concrete's the only thing in our way
30:30from us and 100 grand put this puppy open it's breaking baby oh my god the key's out oh baby
30:42one hundred thousand dollars right there get it
30:51a hundred thousand dollars is official here let's go let's get it let's go
30:58top and con top and con baby for life are you guys ready to hear what the day 90 challenge is yes
31:05yes what i'm about to offer is actually
31:10nothing because on day 99 we have something especially brutal planned for the two of you i'll
31:16see you then well what's happened in day 99 all throughout this video ian has stayed true to his
31:25convict ways time flies when you're stealing books well on day 99 he will have the chance to steal the
31:32entire prize pool today is day 91 but most importantly it's my man ian's birthday i woke up
31:43to a nice surprise by my bunk mate over there he's such a good guy i can't believe i'm spending my third
31:50birthday now in prison but at least i got a good bunk but even with over 90 days behind them ian and
31:56linney never imagined that the final 10 days would be the toughest of their entire sentence it's going
32:01slow trying to find new ways to pass time in here there's nothing else for us to do you got access to
32:07the library right that would give us something to do if i just emptied the library if you put the
32:11computer out that would be hilarious that would be great and honestly i don't blame them because this
32:16is the only prison where acting up doesn't extend your sentence i'll wake up early tomorrow
32:21i get it operation computer is a go you're crazy we're set up shop there we go good job we're in
32:29business baby we got something new to do normally i would punish them for stealing but day 99 quickly
32:35approaching i'm just gonna wait until then should bring this thing in here today has a little chair
32:39that we could put in front of the computer yeah there's something nice there you go war and jimmy
32:43we're doing whatever we can to get back to you this week oh we could be like two brothers sitting down
32:47next to each other you gotta admit it's poetic that throughout this entire video the thing that
32:52brought the cop and the criminal closer together was stealing i like seeing lenny go over the dark
32:57side a little bit he's encouraging me to break the rules too this time we're taking extra direct time
33:02today time is up please stay down here another win for the inmates you're a troublemaker yeah i've adapted to
33:10it like i feel comfortable with it i'm glad that i got to experience this as a police officer to
33:15understand what it feels like to be on the other side of the fence i have no regrets but what both
33:21of these prisoners don't know i will be putting the relationship they've been building over the last
33:2599 days to the ultimate test boys boys boys well well well 99 days ago you two were strangers do you guys
33:34think you're gonna be friends outside of jail oh yeah we're definitely close well let's see if this final
33:39challenge changes that oh man here we go again for this entire video we've been seeing how two people
33:46from completely different backgrounds get along together you've been through so many ups and downs
33:51it all comes down to this final day here wow and that's exactly why for the next 24 hours i'm gonna put
33:58each of you in two different solitary confinement cells more than jim why solitary but this time
34:05there's a twist because in each of your cells there is a button and if either one of you
34:09presses it before the 24 hour timer is up you leave your cell immediately and walk away with the entire
34:15480 000 prize pool thus stealing all of your fellow inmates money that's foul bro i don't think you're
34:23gonna take it but you have to ask yourself is he gonna take it just like he stole the books the
34:29movies and if so should you take it before he does he cried a lot about solitary confinement when he came
34:35down to the family visit and he's been saying you cannot pay me to ever go back into there again well
34:40now i'm paying you 480 000 to leave this room i know that's why it's a very tempting offer i could
34:46imagine i think he'll do it you think he will i'll take you i'd hit that button before he does
34:50all right do you need anything uh freedom uh yeah just press that button all right 24 hours has now
34:58begun oh and one final thing you won't know if the other person leaves until that timer hits zero
35:07this sucks man i don't know if trusting the criminal with a red button that can give him
35:13480 000 was the smartest idea i mean a guy that went to prison for fraud could be a little tempting you
35:19know worried about you and not being able to make it through how do i know that i can trust them with
35:24this prize money they've been through so much throughout this video that it feels like they
35:27would never screw each other but as someone who spent a lot of time in solitary confinement a lot
35:31of time alone to yourself can make you see things differently i think someone's pressing it this is
35:35my first time in solitary confinement this is being second he's scared of tight spaces i don't like being in
35:42tight confined spaces like this this is not meant for me just remember you're free to leave whenever you
35:48want to all with the press of that button obviously for me i don't want to see this counter because
35:53it just gives me anxiety looking at it so i'm gonna use one of these garbage bags and i'm gonna
35:58put it over the clock i don't need it in my face but the longer they sat in those cubes the harder
36:03they thought about what they could do with their partner's half of the money if i just go and hit
36:07that red button right there i could pay off all my restitution and just one shot well i owed half a
36:13million when i got out of prison i could fix everything in the past and just one push there's
36:18a lot of things that i could do with 480 000 it's education for my kids new call for me and my wife
36:25possibly another house or to push that button do i hit the button get the 480 000 and pay off all my
36:32old debt and screw over lenny might have to and the longer ian thought about the money the more he
36:38realized he deserved it more honestly i feel like i had a way worse time than lenny's 100 days
36:44especially because i didn't get that visit and didn't get to see my family how come i gotta spend
36:49twice as much time in solitary than lenny does doesn't make sense if he left that'll be heartbreaking
36:55i'll put in just as much work as him if he can't toughen up for 24 hours and it just goes to show that
37:01his convict ways are still the same there's been too many doggings to go around i've had enough
37:07good night i hope that ian is out there when this all wraps up 100 days all dependent on the last 24
37:18hours if you're in solitary please come out to the middle i repeat if you are in solitary please come
37:26out to the middle there are currently black curtains blocking off both sections of the prison if
37:32you're both standing there you'll each evenly split that prize pool but if only one of you is there
37:37then you just spent 100 days in prison for nothing three two one drop the curtains
37:48they didn't screw each other over okay that is your 240 000 well now he dropped something on the
38:04ground and to celebrate you brought your families you two are free men
38:10hopefully they never go to prison again look how happy are this is amazing i love this video
