00:00That's Rudolph the Red-Nosed Rat.
00:02Up next on American Restoration.
00:05Everybody got presents, and I got you one, too.
00:08Me?
00:08It's really great that Rick Dale showed up at my party
00:10because I got something for him.
00:12All right, here we go.
00:13Oh, whoa, no way!
00:16Dashing through the snow.
00:18I'm coming down to Rick's today
00:20because I want to get my horse-drawn sleigh restored.
00:23It had lacquer on it, gold pen stripe on it.
00:25I mean, I'm waiting for Santa to roll in, you know?
00:27It's awesome.
00:28Christmas is awesome.
00:29Oh, sonny.
00:30My dad put Brett and me in charge
00:32of decorating the shop for Christmas.
00:33So you guys ready?
00:34Yeah!
00:35All right, one, two, three.
00:39Look at a man's workbench.
00:43You see his passions.
00:46His work's in progress.
00:50The things that drive him crazy.
00:54Projects that...
00:56You get the point.
00:57Anyway, every workbench tells a story.
01:00And this is ours.
01:03American Restoration.
01:09Recently, Rick Harrison invited me to his Christmas party.
01:12It was a blast to hang out with the guys,
01:14have a few laughs, and just relax.
01:16And at the end of the night,
01:17when I was saying my goodbyes,
01:18Rick surprised me with something.
01:20That was a great deal.
01:20Yeah, it did turn out to be a nice party.
01:22Chum really arranged it well.
01:23Yeah.
01:23And everybody got presents,
01:25and I got you one, too.
01:27Me?
01:27Yes, I got you a present.
01:29No.
01:29I wasn't going to make you Tiny Tim.
01:32Hey, Corey, Chum.
01:34What?
01:34Let's go show Rick his gift.
01:36You want to come?
01:37Absolutely, man.
01:37It's really great that Rick Dale showed up at my party,
01:39because I'm always pressing him for deadlines.
01:42I'm always beating him up on the price.
01:43He does me a lot of favors.
01:45So I figured, you know what?
01:46I should get him something cool.
01:47Here we go.
01:48It will literally knock you out.
01:50Oh, man.
01:52I can't wait to see it.
01:53Come on.
01:54All right.
01:54Here we go.
01:57Oh, whoa.
01:59No way.
02:00That is so...
02:02That's cool.
02:03It's a 1981 Zamperilla punching machine.
02:06Just basically hit this thing,
02:07and it tells you how hard you hit it.
02:08I figured it's like a two-for-one gift.
02:10You can, like, restore this thing and fix it up,
02:12and you can take your aggressions out on it.
02:14I love it.
02:16I love it.
02:17I love it.
02:17We bought it a while ago,
02:18and it's been sitting there,
02:20and we didn't really know what to do with it.
02:22We thought it was cool,
02:22but there's nobody else better to give it to than you.
02:25Oh, cool.
02:26Well, I know what to do with it.
02:27You know, quite honestly,
02:29I wasn't in the Christmas spirit yet,
02:31and you doing this, I mean, I'm there.
02:33I'm all there now.
02:34Thank you very much, Rick.
02:35Thanks a lot.
02:36No problem, man.
02:36Thanks, Santa.
02:39Most people, when they get a gift,
02:41you know, they don't want something old, beat up.
02:43But that's what I love.
02:44And this is the coolest thing anybody could have ever given to.
02:57I've been doing this job for about 30 years,
02:59and one thing that never changes is around the holidays,
03:02people love bringing in Christmas-themed projects.
03:06Wow.
03:07That thing is awesome.
03:09I'm coming down to Rick's Restorations today
03:11because I want to get my horse-drawn sleigh restored.
03:14Dashing through the snow.
03:16What attracted me to the sleigh was the craftsmanship,
03:20and it also reminded me of Santa's sleigh.
03:23Wow.
03:24It's beautiful.
03:25It is beautiful.
03:26It's got a lot of detail.
03:27You can tell it was lacquer, too.
03:29It had lacquer on it, gold pen stripe on it.
03:31I mean, I'm waiting for Santa to roll in.
03:33You know, it's awesome.
03:34Where'd you get it?
03:35From a collector from Iowa.
03:37He stored it high up in his garage barn for about 50 years.
03:40It's built between 1895 and 1902.
03:44Wow.
03:45Most of these, from what I heard,
03:46ended up outside, and they just rotted away.
03:48Right, right.
03:49And that's why you don't see them.
03:50I love the way it's designed.
03:51At the front's the steer.
03:53It's pivoting.
03:53Mm-hmm.
03:54The rear's stationary.
03:55And then this piece here was basically to hold the horses.
03:58It was the draw.
03:59You know, the way it sits restored,
04:00it's going to be incredible.
04:02If there's a way to keep the sleds on it,
04:04but also have some wheels so I can move it around,
04:07that would be wonderful.
04:08So we'll make a set of wheels here,
04:10like a truck that goes underneath.
04:11It looks nice.
04:12You really won't see it.
04:13On the sled itself, we'll take it off
04:14just like a body on a car.
04:16Okay.
04:16Pull it off, strip all the wood, strip all the metal,
04:19and then paint everything, and then put it all back together.
04:22So, I mean, the whole thing,
04:24I'm looking at probably $9,500 right in there.
04:27$9,500?
04:28Yeah.
04:29I mean, it's halfway between a wagon and a car.
04:33Does that come with reindeer?
04:35No reindeer.
04:37Well, Rick, I think you're the right person for this,
04:39so let's go ahead and do it.
04:40Awesome. Awesome.
04:42Thank you very much, Mike.
04:43$9,500 is a lot of money.
04:46For that amount of money,
04:47I want this to be perfect when I come back.
04:52Hey, babe?
04:57Yeah?
04:58Yeah, I'm back here.
05:00Big Mike's here.
05:01Hey!
05:01Hey!
05:02How you doing, Mike?
05:03Good, good, good, good.
05:04Good to see you.
05:05Thanks, babe.
05:06Hey.
05:06What do you got?
05:07Got something that'll make you whistle Dixie.
05:09Yeah?
05:10What is this?
05:11It's a Dixie cup dispense.
05:12You ever seen one of those?
05:13Well, not like this.
05:15I'm always happy to see Big Mike here in Vegas
05:17because he's always bringing me stuff
05:19that I've never seen before.
05:21And I've definitely never seen a Dixie cup dispenser
05:24like this one.
05:25What's in that?
05:26Penny.
05:27It takes money?
05:28Takes a penny.
05:29Penny a cup.
05:30Wow, bad to the bone.
05:31Got a big glass tube on here.
05:33Where's that?
05:35Glass tube.
05:35Gone glass.
05:36Yeah.
05:37And this was like on machines?
05:39Bouldered right to the side of the bottle machine.
05:41For the...
05:41Pepsi, Coca-Cola, RCM, Dr. Pepper.
05:43Really?
05:43It's kind of neat because the cups are upside down.
05:46But when you flip this around,
05:47it grabs a cup and turns it around
05:49so you can just pull it out.
05:50Oh, oh, oh.
05:51It does a little...
05:52Oh, it does a number.
05:53It does a little loopy loop in there.
05:54That's very cool.
05:55This Dixie cup company,
05:57what actually happened with them
05:58is they were the first company
05:59that came up with a disposable cup.
06:01And this is actually in the early 1900s.
06:03Yeah.
06:04You would drink out of a community tin cup, right?
06:06Yeah.
06:07And this company came out with the first disposable
06:09because it was more sanitary and stuff like that.
06:11Yeah, you got spreading germs.
06:12Right.
06:12So they would have dispensers
06:14and they would, you know,
06:15you'd pull out your cup and you'd drink it
06:16and you'd throw it away.
06:17Don, let's say you end up
06:18letting me restore this thing.
06:20What are you going to do?
06:21Um, I'm out at my man cave bar, you know?
06:24I don't know too many guys
06:24who are going to drink a beer out of a cup.
06:27Yeah.
06:27I want to make it original.
06:28Is that what you want to do?
06:29I want it to look as original as possible.
06:30Maybe I can find one.
06:31Try to find another glass tube for it, you know?
06:33I mean, I can see this, the glass itself
06:35being the hardest part to find.
06:37And making glass like that, I mean, I don't know.
06:40I don't know.
06:41I don't know if Rick's going to be able to find that.
06:43I hope he can fabricate something
06:44because that is the most important part.
06:46If you don't find that, the machine's just worthless.
06:48Okay, with all that said and done,
06:51what do you think something this, you know, small
06:53would cost to get restored back to original shape?
06:56Um, I don't know.
06:57I'm looking probably $1,800.
06:59$1,800?
07:00I think it's worth it.
07:01My cup ain't going to run us over.
07:03All right, Mike.
07:04Rick's done a lot of things for me in the past.
07:06I hope when I go to pick it up,
07:07it just gives me that wow factor and blows me away.
07:14A little bit more.
07:17That's good.
07:18You just bought this?
07:19It actually, no, I didn't buy it.
07:21Rick and the crew gave it to me as a Christmas present.
07:23Isn't that awesome?
07:24Wow.
07:25The other day, I got this old Zamperla punch-out machine
07:28for Christmas.
07:28And today, I had a couple of the guys
07:30go pick it up for me.
07:31Okay, nice and easy.
07:33Okay.
07:33All right.
07:34All right, all right, cool.
07:35Thanks, guys.
07:36So what do you think?
07:37Is that cool?
07:38Yeah.
07:38It's a little rough, but yeah.
07:39Free's free, huh?
07:40Merry Christmas.
07:42What's all that weird football stuff?
07:43Somebody's had it at one time
07:44and done something crazy,
07:46added this on there
07:47instead of what it was supposed to say.
07:48The punch-out machine was a great gift,
07:50and I can't wait to get working on it
07:52after we get through with the holiday push
07:54here at the shop.
07:54It did give me some ideas, though,
07:56on how to spruce up this place for the season.
07:59It really got me in the Christmas spirit,
08:01so I want to spread that.
08:02What I want to do
08:03is I want to put you guys in charge
08:05of decorating the shop.
08:06So when people come in,
08:07maybe in the front or something, you know?
08:09Yeah, that'd be cool.
08:09What do you think?
08:10With some lights or...
08:10Yeah, no, that'd be really cool.
08:11Yeah, but just don't go nuts.
08:13I mean, I have a small budget.
08:15Reindeer, reindeer.
08:16Small budget.
08:16Can I get those really big lights
08:17like the, like, the casino?
08:19Where it goes up in the sky?
08:20Why?
08:21No.
08:22Maybe putting these two guys
08:23in charge of decorating the shop for Christmas
08:25isn't the best idea.
08:27All right?
08:28We got this.
08:28All right.
08:29We got it.
08:30Dang, you guys.
08:31You ready?
08:32Yeah, let's go figure this out.
08:34I'm horrible at decorating.
08:36I'm so excited to see this thing.
08:37I'm here at Rick's
08:38to pick up my horse-drawn sleigh
08:40that they restored for me.
08:41Yo, Rick!
08:42Go!
08:43Oh, my God, look at that.
08:45Ah!
08:46Ah!
08:47Brett Lee's really struggling
08:48with this hot glue gun.
08:49I mean, it's like something you learned
08:51in the fourth grade.
08:52Ow!
08:53Sorry.
08:53You put the tip right on my hand.
09:05A little while ago,
09:06we got in an old horse sleigh
09:07from the 1800s.
09:08I've done a bunch of research,
09:09and I found out that they used leather
09:11for the seats back in the day.
09:13So now I'm visiting my upholsterer, Charlie,
09:15to see if we can come up with a plan
09:16to give this sleigh some style.
09:18Hey, Charlie.
09:19Hey, Rick.
09:20What's going on?
09:20How are you doing?
09:21What do you got here today?
09:22It's actually the seats up a sleigh.
09:24A sleigh?
09:25Yeah, like a snow sleigh,
09:26like a one-horse open sleigh.
09:28Wow.
09:28Like that kind of sleigh.
09:29Well, that's not something
09:29we see every day, is it?
09:30Yeah, it's pretty cool.
09:32Somebody has redone the material
09:33and everything in it.
09:34The sleigh's actually black.
09:35I had to do some research
09:36because I didn't know
09:37how it should be done.
09:38It was sort of a dull leather.
09:40It wasn't shiny.
09:41It was like this.
09:42It was square.
09:43Okay.
09:43It had patterns in it,
09:44but it was folded square.
09:45It wasn't just sewn like this.
09:46But I'll need the red leather.
09:48Right now, the seats are
09:50like an automotive-grade type velour,
09:52and we're going to change it back
09:53to the original leather
09:54because that's what it was
09:56back in the day,
09:57and it'll be much more practical
09:58for this application.
10:00He'll be able to go out in the snow
10:01and do whatever he wants.
10:02Here's a nice big piece.
10:03Oh, yeah, yeah.
10:04Oh, yeah.
10:04That'll be nice.
10:05What we're going to do
10:06is we're going to strip these
10:06all down to the wood,
10:08the original wood,
10:09and throw all this junk away.
10:10Is this like...
10:12There's no way that's 1800s.
10:14There's some original tacks in it.
10:17What about that?
10:17It's got springs
10:18on the bottom of that.
10:19You think that was
10:20back in the 1800s?
10:22I don't know.
10:23It wasn't there.
10:24Right.
10:24Okay, I'm going to go
10:26get the other seats,
10:26and then you can get started, right?
10:28Okay, you got it.
10:28Thanks, bud.
10:29All right, brother.
10:30Charlie's never let me down
10:31on a project.
10:32If there's anyone that I trust
10:33to put the jingle back
10:34in these sleigh bales,
10:35it's him.
10:36Tyler.
10:52What's up, Bradley?
10:53Hey, Ben from the guy
10:55you called for the Christmas lights
10:56is here.
10:56Hey, Ben.
10:57Nice to meet you.
10:57My dad put Bradley and me
10:59in charge of decorating
10:59the shop for Christmas,
11:00but after thinking about it,
11:02I don't think that me and him
11:03are going to be able
11:03to pull this off by ourselves,
11:04so I hired a lighting expert
11:06to give us a hand.
11:07So, Ben, I mean,
11:08it's our first Christmas here,
11:10so I really want to do
11:11something special,
11:11something big, though.
11:13All right.
11:13Well, what are your thoughts
11:14on what do you want to do?
11:15I mean, I'd like to do something
11:17to individualize each building
11:18or each place.
11:20I mean, so it's all
11:21a little different.
11:21I don't want it all
11:22to blend together,
11:23you know what I mean?
11:24So in the past,
11:24I haven't been too good
11:25at decorating, you know,
11:26the old shop,
11:27but I feel with the new shop,
11:28I got to do good.
11:29All right, so we got a glue gun,
11:32got some lights.
11:32We're just going to outline
11:33the top part here.
11:34Okay.
11:35It'd be hot still.
11:36Oh, you almost put it
11:37right into your hand.
11:38Yeah, don't burn your finger.
11:39Since we got to cut this,
11:41just lower enough down
11:42to where the last one
11:43touches the ground.
11:44I feel like Santa.
11:45I'm excited.
11:45I think it's going to look
11:46really cool.
11:47Yeah.
11:47I feel like, for one,
11:48ah!
11:49Ah!
11:51Oh, my gosh!
11:52That stuff is hot.
11:54Caution, nozzle heats up
11:55to 380 degrees.
11:57You know, putting the lights on,
11:59I freaking burn my hands
12:01and my fingers,
12:01and Tyler's just sitting there.
12:03It's hot?
12:04Yeah, that was hot.
12:05Brett Lee's really struggling
12:07with his hot glue gun.
12:08I mean, it's like something
12:08you learned in the fourth grade.
12:10How about you, like,
12:11put your legs on the ladder first?
12:13Ow!
12:14Sorry.
12:15Oh, you put the tip
12:17right on my hand.
12:19Christmas is on.
12:20Ah, son of a bitch.
12:22Well, we only have
12:23700 more light bulbs to go.
12:25Are you kidding me?
12:26No, I'm taking a break.
12:27All right, I guess it's up to me, then.
12:29Damn, my hands hurt.
12:34Big Mike dropped off
12:35this Dixie cup dispenser,
12:36and while my guys work on
12:37polishing every nook and cranny,
12:39I'm headed over to a glass blower
12:41here in town
12:41to see if there is any way
12:43to replace the tube
12:44that was missing off this thing.
12:47Um, Robert?
12:49Yes, you must be Rick.
12:51Yeah.
12:52How are you?
12:53Good to meet you.
12:53Good to meet you.
12:54So I have a Dixie cup dispenser,
12:57and I'm out of ideas
12:58of what to do on this glass.
12:59I can't find it.
13:00What it is,
13:01is the diameter of the tube,
13:02it actually slipped inside here.
13:04Okay.
13:04I want to say
13:05it was about three foot tall,
13:07and it came up,
13:08and then it went to a dome.
13:09Okay, yep.
13:10So that's what I'm looking at.
13:11It looks pretty easy.
13:12Yes.
13:12Uh, would you like
13:13to see what we do?
13:14Yeah, I'd love to see
13:16what you do.
13:16Have to see, Rick.
13:17Okay.
13:18I've been a professional
13:19glass blower for, uh,
13:2130 years,
13:21and the main idea
13:23is to, uh,
13:24keep the glass blowing alive.
13:26So the fire we're working with
13:27is just oxygen and propane.
13:30It's a lot hotter,
13:31but a little bit cleaner.
13:32Oxygen and propane?
13:33That's pretty cool.
13:34Oxygen and propane,
13:35and then we're gonna
13:36feed the oxygen into it.
13:37Before he gets to work
13:38on the tube for the dispenser,
13:40Robert wants to show me
13:41what he's capable of.
13:42Working with the Pyrex tube,
13:45it's not like metal.
13:46The heat doesn't travel
13:47down the tube, so...
13:49Oh, okay.
13:49So it's not as conducted.
13:50We can heat it up.
13:52It doesn't conduct.
13:53Always turning it
13:54to get that even heat
13:55all the way around.
14:06Squashes it,
14:07so it's gonna be flat
14:08on one front,
14:09so it's gonna sit.
14:11Okay?
14:11Like that?
14:12Right.
14:13So I'm gonna heat up
14:14the next section
14:15where we're gonna pull it up
14:16and shape it
14:17into the neck of the quad.
14:20Oh, man.
14:32That is awesome.
14:34You know,
14:34watching Robert work
14:36with glass,
14:36it was basically
14:37an extension of his hand.
14:38I mean, like, crap.
14:39It only took him 20 seconds
14:41to make a total swan.
14:42So being able
14:43to blow this tube,
14:44I don't think it's gonna
14:45be that hard for.
14:46Thanks a lot.
14:52My guys have been
14:53cranking away
14:53like little elves
14:54on this old horse-drawn sleigh
14:56that we've been restoring
14:57for this new customer.
14:58So far,
14:59this thing has taken
15:00a lot more time
15:01than I thought it would.
15:02The woodwork alone
15:03has taken over 100 man hours,
15:05so I really gotta make sure
15:06we stay on schedule
15:07if we wanna get this thing
15:08finished before Christmas.
15:09But right now,
15:10Big Mike's coming down
15:11to pick up his Dixie Cup dispenser
15:12that we restored for him.
15:14Rick!
15:15Big Mike
15:16and his lovely sweaters here.
15:18Hey, Rick!
15:20How you been, bud?
15:21Hey, all right.
15:21I've been all right.
15:22Good to see you.
15:23You're looking jolly.
15:24Mama make that for you?
15:25Yes, you did.
15:25That's very nice,
15:26and I'm not gonna say
15:27nothing but nice things about it.
15:28Yeah, it's Rudolph
15:29the Red-Nosed Rat.
15:31I love it.
15:32So where's my Dixie Cup dispenser at?
15:34Yeah, it's ready.
15:35It's done?
15:35It's ready.
15:36Yeah, you ready to go see it?
15:36I wanna see this real bad.
15:38Okay, it's over here.
15:39I came down to Rick's today
15:40to pick up my Dixie Cup dispenser.
15:42I dropped that thing off.
15:43It looked like it came
15:43from the bottom of the lake.
15:44It had chips
15:45and a lot of pieces missing,
15:46so I don't know.
15:47I have my doubts
15:48if you got it back together.
15:49All right, so you ready
15:50to see this thing?
15:50Oh, boy, am I.
15:51Let's go.
15:52No piquet, no piquet.
15:53One, two, three.
15:56Woo!
15:58All right!
15:59Is that cool?
15:59Oh, man.
16:00That is cool.
16:01Woo-wee!
16:02Now, is this a new plate?
16:03No, that's an original.
16:04It's all original.
16:05Polished it out,
16:06and we just ended up
16:08highlighting the Dixie Cup
16:09area and the fingers.
16:10Wow, that's nice.
16:11Tell me about this tube.
16:12Yeah, well, the...
16:13Glass.
16:13Yeah, that's glass.
16:14What I did was
16:15I went to a guy
16:16that he blows glass.
16:18It was very cool
16:18how he did it, you know,
16:19and so he made that for me.
16:21Yeah, that's sweet.
16:22When you dropped it off,
16:23you thought it was a penny.
16:24Okay?
16:25Yeah, but it was set
16:26for a nickel.
16:27I don't know if the manufacturer...
16:28I'm pretty positive
16:29the manufacturer did it.
16:30Set it.
16:30You got a nickel?
16:31Yeah.
16:32I want to try this thing out.
16:33Put the nickel in.
16:33There you go.
16:34Hand down here.
16:35Yeah.
16:37There you go.
16:38Just like that.
16:39I keep trying to throw
16:40Rick Dale curveball
16:42on everything I bring in,
16:43but he keeps hitting it
16:43right out of the park.
16:44Big or small.
16:45I mean, he seems to find
16:47a way to resurrect
16:48these things
16:48and make them, like,
16:49brand new again.
16:50Man, this thing's awesome.
16:51I can't wait to get it
16:52home to display it.
16:53I mean, happy holidays.
16:54This thing's great.
16:55Thanks.
16:55I mean, I'm happy.
16:59Hey, I had to have a reason,
17:01and it is the season.
17:03With the holiday seasons
17:04upon us,
17:05it's important
17:05that you take
17:06preventative measures
17:07so that you
17:08and your family
17:08are safe.
17:10Which combination
17:10of ingredients
17:11can you use
17:12to fireproof
17:13a live Christmas tree?
17:14A, white vinegar
17:15and baking soda.
17:17B, caro syrup
17:19and borax.
17:20C, lemon juice
17:21and baking soda.
17:23D, clear soda
17:24and borax.
17:25The answer and more
17:26coming up.
17:27Which combination
17:34of ingredients
17:34can you use
17:35to fireproof
17:36a live Christmas tree?
17:38The answer is
17:39caro syrup
17:40and borax.
17:41What you're gonna do
17:42is you're gonna fill up
17:43a large bucket
17:44with two gallons
17:45of hot water.
17:46That two cups
17:47of caro syrup,
17:48which will allow
17:49your tree
17:49to soak up the water.
17:50Half a teaspoon
17:51of borax
17:52in order to distribute
17:54the water
17:54and sugar
17:55to each branch.
17:56Then you're gonna add
17:57two ounces
17:57of chlorine bleach,
17:59teaspoon of salt,
18:00and a teaspoon
18:00of chelated iron.
18:02Then you're gonna
18:02cut off one inch
18:03off the trunk.
18:05You're gonna take
18:06your tree
18:06and allow it
18:07to soak in your solution
18:08for 24 hours.
18:10Now you're ready
18:11to place your tree
18:11in your stand
18:12and decorate it
18:13with your family.
18:20We've been working
18:21on this horse-drawn sleigh
18:22for a while now,
18:23and we're ready
18:23to unveil it
18:24to the customer
18:24and just in the
18:25st. Nick of time
18:26for Christmas 2.
18:28I'm so excited
18:28to see this thing.
18:29Where is the sleigh?
18:30When I dropped it off,
18:32the sleigh was
18:33in decent shape,
18:34but it looked really tired.
18:35Some of the wood
18:36was gouged.
18:37I just can't wait
18:38to see what he did
18:38with that.
18:39You're right!
18:40Yo!
18:41Oh, my God,
18:42look at that.
18:43That's beautiful.
18:44On friendly.
18:45That's amazing.
18:46On friendly.
18:47Move it!
18:48It's on wheels.
18:50Merry Christmas!
18:52Santa, Mrs. Claus,
18:53an elf, reindeer.
18:56Not motorized,
18:56that's for sure.
18:57I got my
18:58chief of calls
18:59on work here.
19:00Rick, that's beautiful.
19:01I mean, this is amazing.
19:03Look how shiny it is.
19:04It's incredible.
19:06It comes with
19:07Santa Claus
19:08and Mrs. Claus.
19:09This is perfect.
19:11When I first saw
19:12the sleigh,
19:13I couldn't believe
19:14that it was
19:15the same sleigh
19:16that I brought in.
19:17It was beautiful.
19:19Thanks, guys.
19:20Thanks for the pulling.
19:20Good job.
19:21Oh, man.
19:22Rick, this is just
19:23phenomenal.
19:24Yeah, it's definitely
19:25a piece of craftsmanship,
19:27no doubt.
19:28I mean, the majority
19:29of this is wood.
19:30The bottom,
19:30the sleigh portion of it,
19:31the majority of this
19:32is wood also,
19:33and all the wood
19:34was cracked,
19:34chipped, splintered,
19:36all the nuts and bolts,
19:37every single piece
19:38of hardware.
19:39It's all new.
19:39It's all done in cad-plated,
19:41so it isn't gonna rust.
19:42Right.
19:42Robert, when he put
19:43the wheels on,
19:44all he really did
19:44was put some rubber,
19:45some U-bolts,
19:46run around some wood.
19:47You can just take them off
19:48whenever you want
19:49and set it right in the snow
19:50and take off.
19:50Uh-huh.
19:51This is actually
19:51the part where your reins
19:53would come across over here,
19:54so it didn't mess up
19:55your dashboard.
19:55Right.
19:56We left it all.
19:56We cleared it
19:57after we polished it
19:58so it won't stain out
19:59or it won't tarnish on you.
20:00The leather itself
20:01and the way that the design
20:02of these folds are done
20:04is actually how it would
20:05have been in the day.
20:06Wow.
20:06I mean, this is Mercedes leather,
20:08so it's very, very nice.
20:09It feels nice.
20:10I mean, I just want
20:11to run my hands over it.
20:12Yeah, well, sitting in it
20:13is even better, right, babe?
20:14Absolutely.
20:14You know, Rick,
20:15it looks like it needs
20:16to be in a museum.
20:19Absolutely perfect.
20:20You are the right guy
20:20to do this.
20:21Thanks.
20:21From getting it in that day
20:23to pulling it around
20:24the corner here at the end,
20:25I loved it, totally.
20:26Oh, that's great.
20:27Yeah, and this is the first time
20:28I've ever revealed anything
20:29in a Santa's outfit,
20:30believe me.
20:31Christmas in Vegas.
20:33Yeah, yeah.
20:33All right, thank you.
20:34Thank you, Rick.
20:35I appreciate it.
20:35Thank you very much.
20:37This is really a piece of art.
20:39It is a piece of artwork.
20:41I am so very pleased.
20:49Earlier, I put Tyler
20:50and Brett Lee in charge
20:51of decorating the shop
20:53for Christmas.
20:53Oh!
20:54And now it's time
20:55for them to finally show off
20:56what they did
20:57to everyone at the shop.
20:58All right, so here's the deal.
21:00When you told Brett Lee
21:01and I that you wanted us
21:01to make the shop festive,
21:02so we had to do something
21:03big and cheap,
21:04a lot like yourself,
21:05so that's what we did.
21:07So you guys ready?
21:08Yeah!
21:09All right, one, two, three.
21:11Yeah!
21:12Yeah!
21:13Yeah!
21:13Yeah!
21:13That's beautiful!
21:15What do you guys think?
21:19Made in purple!
21:20Two buildings of purple!
21:22There's actually two buttons
21:23on this remote.
21:24What?
21:25So, are you guys ready?
21:26On one!
21:27Yeah!
21:28One, two, three.
21:30Oh!
21:32That's awesome!
21:34That's cool!
21:35It's all synchronized.
21:37That's awesome.
21:38It's nice.
21:39Tyler!
21:40Yeah!
21:41Good job, guys.
21:42Success.
21:43Good job.
21:44And that was in the budget?
21:46No.
21:47That's all right.
21:48You did great, guys.
21:49I love it.
21:50I love it.
21:51Yay!
21:52Off a hand.
21:53They did a great job.
21:54Merry Christmas,
21:55you filthy animals.
