00:00We are obviously going to be discussing everything that happened in this episode
00:04but Lucy, first I want to chat to you because you were amazing in the Celebrity Series.
00:08How did you find watching the first episode of the new Civilian Series now that you're not in the castle?
00:13At first, I was like, oh god, here we go again.
00:17You know, like when you're like, oh.
00:20And then, I was absolutely hooked by the end, I was like, they have, they've done it again.
00:27But you'll want to talk about the twist in a minute, I'm sure.
00:31We'll probably bring it up, I'd imagine.
00:34But that just is taking it to a new level.
00:36Totally, yeah, total new level.
00:39This time round, there is a secret traitor, not even the traitors know who they are
00:42and we do not know who they are as we are watching.
00:46So everyone watching now is a faithful because we need to work out who this traitor is.
00:51Yes.
00:52So you've got a theory I hear, Lucy.
00:54When we watched it together, I just had to ask the group, did they say that the secret
00:58traitor was one of that cast?
01:00Because it could be Claire Balding.
01:05So you think it's not only a secret traitor, it's someone secret within the castle.
01:10You think Claire Balding is hiding something maybe in the suit of armour and she's going
01:13to pop out.
01:14Well, I did say, I said publicly online that I think Claire Balding will come back.
01:19Yeah.
01:19And then, and then you can, you can imagine how I felt when they said there's a secret
01:23traitor.
01:23Yeah.
01:24And in the cloak, when it was walking, it did look like Claire Balding's walk.
01:29And I thought that's why you made me move up because she's going to sit here.
01:34So you thought, we are going to reveal the identity of the secret traitor in this episode
01:38of Uncloaked and it's going to be Claire Balding.
01:40Yeah, I'm just so glad they've done this because, you know, it's so, you won't know
01:44this, but it's so infuriating when people are like, how did you not know?
01:49Yeah.
01:49I feel you with that one.
01:50It's time for the public to play this game.
01:52Yeah.
01:52And realise how hard it is.
01:54What was your instant thought when you, when you saw the twist, Mina?
01:57Can I be honest?
01:57Yeah.
01:58I was fuming because that screams Mina energy down to a T. I want to be in the red cloak.
02:04But then we were saying as well that they're going to be so anxious because even for them,
02:09it's not a comfortable, safe situation.
02:11They've not got the support of at least two other traitors when they get to the round table.
02:15They're by themselves.
02:16Yeah.
02:16So everybody's going to be feeling anxious now.
02:19You know, before it was like, the traitors have got the upper hand.
02:21Yeah.
02:21Traitors have now got to guess about the secret one, but then the secret one's going to
02:25be anxious because they're out there on their own.
02:28And obviously all the faithfuls are anxious anyway.
02:29So it's just good telling.
02:31Would you have been angry as a traitor if you found out there's a secret traitor?
02:36You get there, you're like, as a traitor, you think, I want to be picked, I want to
02:39be picked.
02:39And then you get picked.
02:40And then you find out someone else is running the show.
02:43Yeah.
02:43And you're limited to who you can murder because the secret traitor ultimately gives
02:48you the options.
02:49All the power's gone.
02:50All the power's gone in the turret.
02:51Hugo's not a happy buy.
02:54He is not happy.
02:55It's funny though, because they get everything they wanted.
02:57Like they've obviously, they've made it to the show, which is amazing.
03:00Yeah.
03:00They've been able to be a traitor, which they want to do.
03:02And now it's like snatched away from them.
03:04That power's gone.
03:05And I love it.
03:07I'm happy about the Hugo situation because when he said before that he was a psychopathic
03:11teddy bear, I was like, this is what you want to happen to a psychopathic teddy bear.
03:15Take away all the toys and they go mental.
03:18Yeah.
03:18I mean, he had it all planned, didn't he?
03:20I've got a hug in my name, but if you get too close, I'll stab you in the back.
03:23And then he became a traitor.
03:24You must have been so happy about it.
03:25And then suddenly the rugs pulled.
03:27Do we have any speculative theories so far as to who the secret traitor might be?
03:31We've only had one episode, but has anyone spotted anything?
03:34We thought Amanda would be great.
03:36And we also all warmed to Judy.
03:39I love my mum, but I would also happily have Judy as my mum.
03:43Yeah.
03:43Love you, mum.
03:44So I feel like she'd be a really good person in kind of like a motherly, instinctive way.
03:49And then if she's pulling all the strings behind the scenes, although they are slightly
03:52onto her already.
03:53Yeah, this is it.
03:54Did we spot Judy's head turn at the round table?
03:57Not another head turn.
03:58Oh, no.
03:58There was a little bit of a Linda moment.
04:00Really?
04:00Yeah, to the word traitors.
04:02Yeah.
04:02Oh.
04:03So if Judy is the secret traitor, she's not done a great job of keeping it secret so far.
04:07I really hope the secret traitor gets far, because I just think it's fun.
04:11Yeah.
04:11Like, it is fun, and it's like added such another layer to the game.
04:15Imagine if, like, Judy's the first to go and that's it.
04:17I think Jessie could be the secret traitor.
04:19Yeah.
04:20I don't know why.
04:20I think when she was speaking on the train, she just really, like, I don't know, I connected
04:25with her and I thought she could be a good traitor, and she said she wanted to be a traitor.
04:29Yeah.
04:29They all seem to this year.
04:30Yeah, yeah.
04:31I feel like everyone just wants to be conniving.
04:33It's great.
04:33But that makes it so hard to work out who the secret traitor is, right?
04:36Because there's so many discussions in the gold chats where everyone says they want to
04:40be a traitor.
04:40You're like, well, who could it be?
04:41Amanda, I thought, potentially a good secret traitor.
04:44I think a terrible secret detective, because I'm watching Amanda, and I'm thinking, I'd know
04:48you were a copper as soon as I meet you.
04:50Yeah.
04:51Yeah, she's, like, central casting, like, lead in the bill.
04:54Yeah.
04:56I'm surprised they've not done any sort of shots of just her feet walking across the gravel.
05:00But maybe that's the walk she was getting confused with.
05:02Yeah, maybe.
05:03That's who you think Claire is.
05:05Does Claire boarding walk like a bulletproof?
05:08They have, obviously, like, a couple of people mentioned Jade looked nervous.
05:14And then, obviously, they showed Jade.
05:16But, you know, you don't know whether they're just, it's a red herring.
05:20But it would make sense that you're seeing the secret traitor a lot within this episode.
05:28And she did, she did look nervous.
05:30And being there, you know, you don't look nervous because it's, like, a relief, really.
05:37See, I disagree.
05:38I feel like I looked nervous.
05:39Oh, did you?
05:39I was nervous.
05:40I was petrified.
05:42Oh, really?
05:42Yeah.
05:42In case someone was, like, thought you was...
05:45I think I was just out of my depth a little bit, to be honest.
05:47Yeah.
05:47And I think, you know, you've signed yourself up for something to the unknown completely, really.
05:52Like, it's...
05:52I was probably just nervous in general.
05:55You're around loads of new people.
05:57So, I don't know if it's fair to say, like, that nervousness is just because she's guilty.
06:03Because I was nervous as hell.
06:05Like, I...
06:05But people obviously didn't pick up on that.
06:08Because, obviously, even though you were nervous, people can still tell that's authentic.
06:11And it's not for that reason.
06:13And I suppose it could be like that for Jade.
06:15I think maybe people just need to get to know her a little bit more.
06:18Maybe the people that don't know her so well are the ones kind of picking up on that energy.
06:21Yeah.
06:22Whereas if they've had a few chats with her, they might know she's a bit of a nervous person anyway.
06:25Or we could be wrong, and it's her.
06:27We could, yeah.
06:28Has anyone made any comments so far that you think, oh, they're a bit suspicious?
06:32They're a little bit... you're a bit on edge with them?
06:34I think James needs to be real careful.
06:36He is throwing names out left, right and centre.
06:38That point he was doing.
06:39Yeah.
06:39That was wild.
06:40It just... you need to be under the radar.
06:43Like, you do.
06:44And as much as you can get excited, especially when you feel something and, like, you're sure it's right.
06:49Just be careful with what she's saying, I think.
06:52I worry about Fiona.
06:54Yeah.
06:54Because of the mission.
06:56I think at that early on in the game, everyone's just holding on to any little thing that happens.
07:01And that's, like, the only thing that's really happened.
07:03And I just think it was an accident.
07:05Or is she the secret traitor?
07:06She might... what if she's putting all this on?
07:09What if she's not...
07:09What if she's not mixing anything up at all?
07:13What if it's like Willy Wonka when he comes out of the factory and he's on a walking stick and then he does a tumble?
07:19Exactly.
07:20Exactly.
07:20Fiona's going to start doing flips.
07:22Yeah.
07:23She's going to do flips in a red cloak.
07:25Now, we know who isn't the secret traitor because of the murder shortlist.
07:29Yes.
07:29We've got James, Nettie and Maz.
07:31Do you think there's anyone else, Jack, that we can rule out of being the secret traitor?
07:35Who's 100% faithful, essentially?
07:37It's funny because I feel like I trust Judy, but I literally want her to be the secret traitor.
07:44So, my want and my actually thinking it may be a different thing.
07:48I want her to be, but I actually don't think she will be.
07:50I think she's faithful and, unfortunately, is just sadly on the chopping block at the moment.
07:54Now, we don't know who the secret traitor is, but neither do the traitors themselves.
07:59They were very shocked when Claudia told them.
08:01Let's remind ourselves of that.
08:02I just had to pop in because I have a small confession.
08:08Oh, no.
08:10You are not the only traitors in this castle.
08:15At the round table, I picked one other traitor.
08:20The secret traitor.
08:22Oh, my God.
08:23You still have power, but not quite as much.
08:30Hugo was gutted, wasn't he?
08:32I think they all were a bit fuming, to be honest.
08:35I don't blame them.
08:36We also said it makes it even worse for the faithfuls because if you, as a faithful, end up directing some attention at one of the traitors, not actually knowing if they're a traitor or not,
08:47you're immediately going to look like the secret traitor to the traitors.
08:51Because, obviously, the secret traitor knows who the traitors are.
08:53So, if you just happen to stumble as a faithful onto the right person and, say, in one of the traitors, you, even more than normal, maybe put more of a target on your back.
09:02But just because the traitors are going to want to get rid of you, so the secret traitor's gone.
09:05So, do you think the secret traitor will be looking to knock out fellow traitors at this point in the game?
09:11Yeah, I think they're already showing that.
09:13You know, when they found out who the shortlist was, they all looked a bit perturbed, but, like, they were like, why have they picked them?
09:23Like, we are, as if there's, like, there's almost an agreement that these were the wrong people you needed to pick.
09:28And either that's just a fluke, or the secret traitor's laying the stall out early of, I'm not on your side, and I'm not going to go with people I think you want to.
09:37As much as I think the secret traitor is against them, I don't necessarily think they're going to be trying to get rid of them just yet, because there's no need.
09:44They're going to just recruit them.
09:45Do you know what I thought was interesting, though, to Lucy's point?
09:48How come all three of them were annoyed at the shortlist?
09:52So surely there's something that the traitors have, like, cottoned on to, or, you know, they would have picked three different names.
10:00So I think, a part of me thinks the secret traitor has done that to maybe, like, make their lives a bit harder, the actual traitors.
10:08Because all three of them were like, why have they picked these people?
10:11Well, they had a discussion.
10:12They came to a sort of vague idea of who they might want to murder themselves.
10:16And then, obviously, it was completely different.
10:18I don't think there was any malice from the secret traitor picking those particular names.
10:23I just think they have very different ideas at this point.
10:25Because there's so many people, aren't there?
10:27Yeah, true.
10:27So then there's maybe a chance that, at some point, the traitors start to work out who the secret traitor is.
10:34Is that what you mean?
10:36That's such a clever point, because they'll throw the heat onto them and they'll be like, whoa, that's weird.
10:41But then can only mention it at the round table because they can't murder them at night.
10:46Such a clever game.
10:47It's so clever now this is added into it.
10:49Who's part of this?
10:50It's good, this show, isn't it?
10:51Yeah, it's a good show.
10:52I can't live any more of my life in this headspace, though.
10:55It's like, oh, God, I've got other things to be doing.
10:59I can't be, I can't believe I've now got to work out who a secret traitor is.
11:05I've had months and months of this.
11:07I'm sorry we made you come on this, Lucy.
11:09Now I'm, can you just tell, who is it?
11:12I don't know, I've got no idea.
11:13Oh, isn't it frustrating?
11:14Yeah, it is.
11:15Mina, if this had happened on your series, how would it have altered your gameplay as a traitor?
11:20Oh, I feel like you just go into panic mode because, like you guys said, as a traitor, that's all you want to get picked.
11:28You get picked.
11:29I'm with Armani and Linda, fantastic.
11:31And then Claudia tells you, actually, there's somebody else pulling the strings.
11:35And I just think you'd have to try and keep everyone on side until you can work out who it is.
11:42Yeah.
11:42It's the only thing that you can do.
11:44But then you don't know who it is.
11:45So then what if you try to spread rumours about them and they're like, okay, I think you know what you're doing.
11:51Your days are numbered.
11:52I don't know.
11:53It's so hard.
11:54I just feel like you'd be so annoyed as a traitor.
11:57You think, I think Hugo actually said it, you want all the control as the traitor.
12:03Yeah.
12:03And actually, with their show, they haven't got all the control because there's this massive thing that they don't know about.
12:09We should talk about the new cohort of non-secret traitors.
12:13The traitors that we know about.
12:15How do we think Hugo's going to be as a traitor?
12:17Mina, what do you reckon?
12:18I think the other two are going to get rid of him.
12:22Yeah.
12:23That's what I think.
12:24I quite like him, to be honest.
12:25But I feel like Rachel and Stephen are synced up on how they want to play this game.
12:30And I think they'll work as a team.
12:32But I think Hugo's got the potential to potentially rub them up the wrong way.
12:37Therefore, they'll be like, you're not helping our plans to win as traitors.
12:42They already have said, haven't they, that they think if anyone's going to sneak out, it's Hugo out of the three of them.
12:47And Rachel even said she don't trust him.
12:49And she...
12:49Yes.
12:50Yes.
12:50And I think, like, if you don't trust each other...
12:54Yeah.
12:55It's not going to work.
12:56Bye-bye.
12:57What do we think of Rachel as a traitor so far?
13:00Great.
13:01Good reaction faces to Storm.
13:02Yeah.
13:03Yeah.
13:03I'm enjoying watching her.
13:05I think she's going to go very, very far.
13:08Yeah.
13:08I think she's a bit like you.
13:09Yeah.
13:10She's a shard from the stack.
13:11Yeah.
13:12Yeah.
13:12She seems in control, but in a very calm, like, measured way.
13:16Mm-hmm.
13:17And Hugo's, I think, relishing playing the part.
13:20Yes.
13:20Like, calling Claudia the Queen of Darkness and all of this sort of stuff.
13:23He's just...
13:24He's ready for panto.
13:25Yeah.
13:26Yeah.
13:26Yeah.
13:27He'd make a great dame.
13:28Yeah, he would.
13:30He's being very open about his job, being a barrister.
13:33And is that the sort of job that you would have thought, maybe try and keep that secret?
13:36Definitely.
13:36Yeah.
13:37I also think that he's going to really struggle not having all the power.
13:41Yeah.
13:41I think that he's going to...
13:42I think he's going to really, really find that hard.
13:44Because he went in there with that mindset.
13:46Yeah.
13:46And now it's flipped.
13:47I think it's flipped his whole game.
13:49Yeah.
13:49And, like, I think he's going to really struggle.
13:51Because, obviously, once you're a traitor, like, the whole thing is people not knowing who you are.
13:56Mm-hmm.
13:57So the fact that there's someone in that group...
13:58Who knows.
13:59...that knows is scary.
14:01Yeah.
14:01And he strikes me as someone who has quite a lot of control and power in his life anyway.
14:06Yeah.
14:06He's scary, that, isn't he?
14:07So that's what he's used to.
14:08Yeah.
14:09Yeah.
14:09So to suddenly not have it, I think, is going to mess him up a little bit.
14:13Yeah.
14:13Yeah.
14:13And finally, Stephen.
14:14We should talk about Stephen.
14:15Very well-dressed.
14:15Best-dressed man on the show.
14:17Totally.
14:17Yeah.
14:18Do we think that's going to help him as a traitor?
14:19Yes.
14:20Yes.
14:21People trust fashionable people.
14:22Yes.
14:22Do they?
14:24Yeah, look at Jonathan Ross.
14:25He stayed for ages.
14:26He wasn't fashionable.
14:27Do you not think it was his looks that kept him in?
14:29And I think these lot were like, do you know what?
14:31Let's just see what he's going to wear tomorrow.
14:32Wear tomorrow.
14:33Yeah.
14:33So we're not saying he's as fashionable as Stephen, but he was quirky.
14:38I think let's see what Jonathan's wearing tomorrow is different to fashionable.
14:41Okay.
14:42I agree.
14:43There was one thing he was wearing I thought it was alive.
14:48He sat next to me and I went, skunk in it, he moved.
14:52And he said, no, it's attached to my jacket.
14:56But yeah, Stephen seems very affable as well.
14:58I think people will naturally trust him.
15:00Yeah.
15:01Yeah.
15:01He seems quite like warm.
15:02Very friendly, charming.
15:04I think he's going to probably go for this out of the three.
15:07To describe him?
15:08Wholesome.
15:08Yep.
15:09He is wholesome.
15:09Yep.
15:10I think, like you said, everyone's going to trust him.
15:13Yep.
15:13And therefore, the faithful will doubt that he is a traitor.
15:17But I think Rachel trusts him and I think he's going to have Rachel's back.
15:20So they'll work well together.
15:21Yeah.
15:22Lucy, now, obviously, you and the other faithful in your series struggle to catch traitors
15:27for quite a long time.
15:28Yeah.
15:29What do you think the chances are in this series of the traitors sneaking under the radar
15:33like Alan and Kat did?
15:34I don't think it's going to happen.
15:36I don't think it's going to happen with this.
15:38And I think, adding the secret trait, I think there's going to be a bigger turnover.
15:43I think they're going to get there.
15:45Molly, if you were in there as a faithful, is there anyone that you're suspicious of at
15:50this point?
15:50You're asking the wrong person.
15:52Whoever she says, it's the opposite.
15:54Literally.
15:54Don't listen to me.
15:57Well, is there anyone in there that you'd trust and would be your best friend right
16:00until the end of the game?
16:01Oh, yeah, definitely.
16:02All three of the traitors.
16:03To be honest, at this stage, it's so early.
16:08Like, it really is.
16:10You don't know each other yet, which is the hardest thing, because, like, it's hard to
16:13know if someone's slipping up, like we talked about earlier.
16:14You don't know their personality, so is that just them, or is that them being guilty?
16:20I think once you kind of get to know people, you can pick up on things a lot better.
16:24Yeah.
16:24I say.
16:25But, I say, not to him yet.
16:28Who would you write down on the first banishment?
16:32Whoever everyone else is writing down, to be honest.
16:33Would you?
16:34Yeah.
16:34That Fiona thing doesn't help, does it?
16:37Like, what you were saying about the small little things to go on.
16:39Yeah.
16:39Maybe you'd vote Fiona.
16:40If I was a faithful, that's the only thing that I've got to go off.
16:43Yeah.
16:44That's it.
16:45You sit at the table with pretty much no idea.
16:47Nothing, yeah.
16:48You're obviously just going to take in everyone else's ideas.
16:50Yeah.
16:50And to be quite honest, you're scared yourself of looking dodgy, so you're going to literally
16:54put kind of what the group's saying.
16:56Yeah.
16:56And also, you need the group to work together to get someone out, and someone has to go,
17:00unfortunately, so it kind of makes sense if you have no idea.
17:03Obviously, if you have an inkling, then, yeah, it's good to bring it up.
17:05If you have no idea, then go with the group, I say.
17:08Yeah.
17:08So, we've got a whole bunch of new players to get to know over the coming weeks, so let's
17:13discuss a few of them here.
17:14We've got a lot of people with interesting jobs this series.
17:18We've obviously got a secret barrister, someone who is a barrister, but keeping it secret in
17:23Harriet, but we've got Hugo, who is an actual barrister.
17:27Or is he?
17:27Or being, and Hugo's being honest about being a barrister.
17:31Oh, so now you're worried that Hugo is pretending to be a barrister.
17:33He's a lollipop man.
17:34I think he's a Claire Balden impersonator.
17:38I love how this secret traitor thing has made none of you trust anything that we've seen.
17:42Like, I don't believe him.
17:44Okay, well, I think I can tell you that Hugo is genuinely a barrister.
17:48It'd be a rubbish job to choose to lie about otherwise.
17:50Yeah.
17:51Do you think that is going to draw suspicion to him?
17:53Yeah.
17:53Yeah.
17:54I think when people have got nothing, you grab onto anything.
17:57Yeah.
17:57Yeah.
17:58So you think it's smarter, the thing that Harriet's doing, which is concealing being
18:02a barrister?
18:02Yeah, or like what Leanne did.
18:04Like, I just think, do something that people see as more, like, everyday relatable.
18:08True.
18:08I think makes sense.
18:09And if she can keep it a secret, that is.
18:11Do you know what I mean?
18:11She might slip up.
18:13And I think that's another thing she's got to think about, is you are lying in some way.
18:17And of course, we have the massive secret relationship.
18:20Judy and Roxy, a mother and daughter.
18:22Yeah.
18:22Let's remind ourselves of when Roxy revealed the secret.
18:25Oh, my gosh.
18:28James is running wild saying Judy is a traitor.
18:31I don't know if she's a traitor or not.
18:34Judy seems lovely, but I'm bound to say that, considering she's my mum.
18:42Bloody hell, well, my mind's crumbling.
18:44Keeping it secret just because I think if you come in as a pair, it's almost like an alliance.
18:50I feel super protective over her and hearing anyone, like, cast out on her for her actions
18:57is just generally not quite nice.
18:59So there we are.
19:00I mean, I personally think that Roxy's already doing quite a bad job of concealing the relationship
19:05because there's been conversations where she is talking to Judy in such a way that
19:09only a daughter would talk to their mum.
19:11Yeah.
19:11So going, you're quite loud, aren't you?
19:13It's like, no, you're supposed to have just met.
19:15You've just met me.
19:16You've just met.
19:16You're quite a loud lady, aren't you?
19:18I was thinking, of course, that's your mum.
19:20And also giving her tips, didn't she, in front of people.
19:22Yeah.
19:22It wasn't kind of like pulling her off to the side.
19:24Yeah.
19:24Because I know, like, Ross and Diane had little chats on the side, like,
19:27Ross said to her at breakfast that morning, like, mum, sort yourself out, kind of thing,
19:31didn't it?
19:31But with this, it was in front of someone, and she was kind of like,
19:34maybe go round to the group, kind of giving her advice.
19:37Yeah.
19:37Why are you giving another player advice at this point?
19:40It was also with DCI Amanda.
19:42Yeah.
19:43Yeah.
19:44Because I thought, if I was Amanda, and Amanda's not the secret traitor,
19:48I was a thought, Roxy, are you the traitor?
19:50Because that's quite a weird thing to just say to someone you've met.
19:53Yeah.
19:54Like, 24 hours ago, kind of thing.
19:56Yeah.
19:56They're goners, aren't they?
19:57Yeah.
19:59Tomorrow, they're going to come into breakfast,
20:00and Judy's going to be cutting up Roxy's food for her.
20:03Yeah.
20:04She's like, thanks, mum.
20:04Yeah.
20:05Here comes the aeroplane.
20:07Yeah.
20:08I didn't like them when they were accusing Judy,
20:11because you instantly really like her,
20:13and the fact that she's got a daughter,
20:14and the job she does and stuff,
20:16you feel quite protective.
20:18Yeah.
20:18So then, I mean, it would be a clever twist if someone so sweet is a secret.
20:23And also, it would be an interesting twist,
20:25because she has a daughter in there.
20:27Yes.
20:28And again, like, I just think the secret traitor
20:30is just so mysterious that it being someone's mum as well on top of it,
20:33it's like, bam, bam, bam, like you get him.
20:35I hope it's Judy.
20:36It would be good.
20:37I don't know.
20:37But, not if they're going to get her out.
20:39No, no, no.
20:39No.
20:40She needs to stay till the end.
20:41Now, the other major thing that happened in this episode for me
20:44was Nettie and Ross happened to know each other outside of the game.
20:47Poor old Ross.
20:48Ross was fuming.
20:49He did not want that bomb drop, did he?
20:50No, he didn't.
20:51And this, I mean, this appears to be a genuine, complete coincidence.
20:54Yeah.
20:55That they just happened to have met beforehand.
20:56It's a long time ago as well.
20:58It's not, like, a recent thing.
20:59No.
21:00And Nettie's like, Nettie just runs, like,
21:01oh, my God, it's you.
21:03And Ross is like, whoa.
21:03He's like, whoa, no.
21:05Please.
21:07I'm convinced that they're actually, like, brother and sister
21:10or, like, they're married.
21:11Because, I don't know, she was just, he was like,
21:15I think he said to her, let's pretend we don't know each other.
21:18And she wasn't listening.
21:20So then she's just, like, forgot that they're supposed to not know each other.
21:23And then she's done that.
21:24And now he's like, yeah, we haven't seen her in 10 years.
21:27And it's like, you've seen her last night.
21:29So it's just a bit like, it's just like, yes, and.
21:30It's just, yeah.
21:31It's gone, right, let's just do whatever.
21:33I think it is genuinely just the coincidence.
21:34Me too.
21:35And she's made the decision in that second.
21:37She's not thought about it.
21:39And she said, oh, hello.
21:41We know each other.
21:42Whereas he's obviously had that extra thought of going,
21:44this will not help us in the game.
21:45Yeah.
21:46Well, it didn't because they both had their names.
21:48He did.
21:49Did she as well?
21:50She did.
21:51Yeah.
21:51I think everyone's thinking what I'm thinking.
21:53Is there more to this than what they're saying?
21:56Second guessing everything.
21:57Yeah.
21:57I do think if people come to believe Nettie,
22:01then I feel like that that was genuine.
22:04Yeah.
22:04Then maybe they'll believe that she's a faithful
22:06because clearly she's not someone who's playing any kind of game
22:09or like a poker situation and has just gone, oh, yeah.
22:11And then maybe afterwards they'll be like, oh, I shouldn't have said that.
22:13Yeah.
22:15But it's therefore trustworthy.
22:17Yeah.
22:17Well, it was a jam-packed episode,
22:19but we can't move on until we've talked about the massive first mission,
22:23the coffins in the lake.
22:25But it wasn't as simple as it seemed because true traitors fashion,
22:28there was an extra layer of savagery.
22:30Whoever had a coffin with the gold symbol put into their grave,
22:35that meant that they were up for murder.
22:37Everyone who didn't have the coffin put in technically had a shield at that point.
22:40Pretty brutal.
22:42How do we think tactics played into this?
22:44One of the groups said that they were just going for the first names that they saw,
22:49which I think this early on in the game, that's probably what you're best doing.
22:54When you start to put people's names down for basically murder,
22:58it's kind of like you're saying they're a traitor or you don't trust them or...
23:02And then that's going to cause people to think, well, why did you pick my name?
23:05I'd be upset.
23:06If I was a faithful and my name was one of those 10 names, I'd be really upset.
23:10It's like if it was anything other than just at random.
23:12Yeah, whereas if it's random, then you're like, fair enough, it's the first name, whatever.
23:16Because they were all claiming random, weren't they?
23:18They were like, just put it in the closest one.
23:20Well, the other team were.
23:20But there was a little bit...
23:21That one team said that they had two people that they thought were maybe traitors,
23:27therefore don't bother wasting it on that.
23:30And then that's poor old Fiona's downfall when she got the wrong end of the ore.
23:33But I'd also be upset if that was me,
23:36and they'd just taken away my opportunity to have a shield.
23:38But I'd be like...
23:39Agreed.
23:39Yeah.
23:41You're going to remember that as well, aren't you?
23:43It's so difficult to know whether you should put the coffin in
23:46if you suspect someone of being a traitor,
23:47or you should absolutely not put the coffin in.
23:49And even if you do think those things,
23:51nobody wants to stick their neck out so early on.
23:54Yeah.
23:54I think doing the first thing you see is the easiest thing to do.
23:58Because there's very little game playing.
23:59I think I'm just at the back of the coffin, I'm holding on to it.
24:01Totally.
24:02Keeping quiet.
24:03Yeah.
24:03Okay, where do you want me to put it?
24:05Yeah.
24:05With the new twist of the secret traitor,
24:08Molly, what do you think people should be looking out for on the missions
24:11in terms of suspicions?
24:13The missions are going to be a good time for the traitors
24:16to look for the secret traitor, I guess.
24:20Anyone who's just wearing a bit of red, maybe?
24:22A red cloak would do it, wouldn't it, really?
24:24That would help, I think.
24:26Would help me, first of all that.
24:28The thing is, the only person in there who would, I think,
24:30have red trousers would be Hugo,
24:31and we know he's a traitor already.
24:32I think the thing that people could pick up on about the secret traitor
24:38if they're a traitor is kind of anyone trying to maybe throw them under the bus
24:42and kind of give clues, especially when it gets a bit deeper into the game
24:45and they need to find a traitor, because it does get to that point
24:48where the faithfuls need to find a traitor because someone needs to go.
24:52So I think when it gets to that point and they're doing missions
24:55or even just day-to-day, seeing who's trying to throw you under the bus
24:59maybe might be a good way to pick them out.
25:01And obviously, we're narrowing it down now with who they can murder
25:05and things like that.
25:06But yeah, maybe something like that could help them.
25:08So who do we think is going to be the first murdered player?
25:12Obviously, the traitors are working from the shortlist of James, Nettie and Maz.
25:17So it's going to be one of those three.
25:19Oh, not Maz.
25:20No, not Maz.
25:21Maz is a sweetheart, isn't he?
25:22He is.
25:23But I don't think it'll be James, because I think he's been too vocal so far.
25:27Yeah.
25:27Therefore, the traitors could do with keeping him in,
25:29because he's going to be one of the hot suspects.
25:31So I feel like maybe Nettie considering the connection to Ross.
25:36But then do you not think there's suspicion on Nettie because of that connection?
25:40Right, so then Maz.
25:40I fear that it's going to be Maz, and I don't want it to be.
25:44He needs to practice his Cobra mark.
25:46Yeah.
25:48He wasn't quite there with it.
25:49No.
25:50Yeah.
25:50And he's not going to have time.
25:52No.
25:52Yeah, I think because James has been throwing out accusations,
25:56so the traitors would be silly to get rid of him,
25:59because he will get himself banished.
26:00Yeah.
26:01That's what I think.
26:02Nettie is potentially looking shifty with the Ross connection,
26:06and then that leaves Maz.
26:07I don't want Maz to go, and I'll be devastated if it isn't him.
26:11Isn't it funny how you instantly, like, some people are just,
26:14you know, not that they're not all kind,
26:16but some people just radiate a really kind face.
26:19There's a lot of very warm players this time.
26:22Yeah.
26:23I think Maz and Ross as well just really come through the screen.
26:27Yeah, definitely.
26:28I sort of love them already.
26:29When Maz said he had five kids, we all went, oh.
26:31Yeah, we did.
26:32Nice guys finish last, they say.
26:35Oh.
26:36I hope not.
26:37Well, we've run out of time here, but if you can't get enough,
