00:00happy new year happy new year i don't know about you but
00:12this new year is off to a great start it is
00:17pancakes i well i made way too much so you better stay for breakfast
00:30you had me at pancakes hope you don't mind i borrowed some of your things
00:35that looks good on you you look better off but oh
00:41thank you so much for coming over on such short notice
00:49ace's nanny called in sick that's a drug yeah it is for all of us i mean i wouldn't have called you
00:56except that well i have someone coming over to the house for a meeting and i won't be able to
01:02keep an eye on ace i know the mayor worked all the time but i thought you'd get today off
01:06yeah well apparently some things can't wait
01:10anyway um i uh i don't know how long i'm going to be
01:18but uh i can't look after him until uh
01:24until it's over no problem
01:27how about we get out of your hair maybe i could take ace to the park
01:33unless you'd prefer we stay home if you're worried about my father
01:39thank you for tearing yourself away from the office son on a holiday
01:46billable hours are billable hours so what was so urgent that couldn't wait till i got home
01:53you work with alexis davis
01:56her last day in court was to put it mildly a disaster
02:02alexis is a brilliant attorney i'm sure she can salvage the case
02:07really can she
02:08for as the damage done is willow tate going to prison
02:14so the digital file is still there but everything that was tracing willow's movements and that of the shooting
02:20it's been corrupted or tampered with
02:23is there anyone in your department that could have done this
02:26you know a few days ago you asked me that i would have said not a chance
02:29but the way this trial is going i guess we can't rule anything out
02:34how bad is this for the case
02:37losing that footage was a blow
02:40but by the time we adjourned
02:43alexis had herself on the ropes
02:45yeah well she's not going to stay on the ropes
02:47she's going to bounce off and hit back even harder
02:50i'm just going to start with your investigation
02:51so if i'm going to secure a conviction
02:54you're going to have to be ready to defend every action taken by the pcpd
02:59that's for coming by son
03:02yeah no problem
03:03what's up
03:04i uh ran into ada turner
03:07and there's something about the trial i think you should know about
03:12would you do me a favor
03:15and organize these exhibits for evidence
03:18and then submit a new witness list for the prosecution
03:22you're changing your strategy
03:27i am
03:29we're going after a person that's more suspicious than willow
03:34michael corinthos
03:36so rather than going after a broad array of suspects
04:04on who could have shot drew
04:07that we focus on one simple plausible scenario
04:11michael corinthos
04:12i know things didn't go as we had hoped with dr robinson
04:16yeah that's an understatement
04:17but reasonable doubt is reasonable doubt
04:20there's still a long list of suspects
04:22that's true that's true but going after several suspects at once
04:28i think it's just too confusing for the jury
04:30so i think it's better if we just present one clear view of what happened
04:34at drew's house that night
04:36and that makes sense but
04:38i have to ask
04:40are you taking your lead from the anonymous letter you were
04:45no
04:45no of course not
04:46it's unsubstantiated
04:49but i'm going to do everything in my power to prove that
04:52what was in that letter
04:54is in fact true
04:56well i can defend our investigation we followed the evidence
05:00it took us a lot of places but ultimately to willow
05:04and it built a strong case
05:06a strong circumstantial one
05:09well
05:10we have phone records
05:12that show that willow's cell pinged off a tower
05:16near drew's house
05:17that's hardly a smoking gun
05:18but it's not nothing
05:19i mean it was the one piece of evidence that anna was missing when she left
05:24that traffic cam footage
05:26and now we're missing it too
05:27yeah we had it
05:28we know willow was in the vicinity of drew's house at the time of the shooting
05:32but the jury doesn't know that
05:34and with that traffic cam footage gone
05:36we have to proceed like we never had it to begin with
05:39and
05:40alexis will use that evidence gap
05:43to create doubt that willow was our shooter
05:45which means she'll be looking for someone else to pin it on
05:49like she did with portia
05:51but that didn't work out too well did it
05:53there are other suspects
05:55and i don't want to be blindsided
05:57because we cleared someone who could still be viable
06:00you mean uh michael
06:02him too
06:04but i also want to know what the hell curtis ashford was doing with selena wu and his club
06:09i know there's no need to rush into anything
06:12and we should
06:14take this day by day
06:16okay
06:19but
06:21i don't want to be one of those couples that
06:25get back together just to make the same old mistakes
06:29right i was thinking the same thing because
06:31after last night
06:33i can't believe we were ever apart
06:35how did we manage to mess up something so good
06:40yeah well there were a lot of different reasons
06:43but whatever we did
06:46we thought our relationship could withstand it
06:49and that it would
06:51always be there
06:53we won't take it for granted this time
06:55and in order to do that
06:58we need to make our relationship a priority
07:00right from the beginning
07:02except for trina
07:05they both can be my priority
07:09this time
07:12i'm gonna do it right
07:14alexis is an excellent attorney
07:18and drew has given her more than enough motivation to win
07:22and what happened with
07:24portia robinson
07:25that was a rare misstep
07:28well i hope you're right
07:29because if willow tate is convicted of shooting drew
07:34he'll be useless to me on the hill
07:36there'll be no chance of getting him re-elected
07:40and if he's impeached
07:42and convicted for blackmail
07:44oh even worse
07:45either way we'll have to find a new ally in washington
07:49so that our import businesses remain intact
07:54fortunately
07:55i have the local politicos
07:58where i want them
08:00mayor collins did a great job at the press conference
08:04announcing the sale of the peers
08:06she was convincing
08:08but laura
08:10she's a resourceful and determined woman
08:14who does not enjoy being told what to do
08:18so
08:20what do we do about that
08:22we must never let her forget what she stands to lose
08:26ace will be perfectly safe with me i promise
08:30i've got a uniform cop tailing me wherever i go
08:33not to mention the surveillance the wsb must have me under
08:36yes i'm sure they do
08:38so if you're worried about me running off with my dad
08:41while i have ace
08:42no honey of course not
08:44i am not worried about that
08:46i trust you
08:47if i didn't
08:48i wouldn't have asked you to babysit at all
08:51come sit with me for a minute now
08:54i honestly don't think that your dad would ever try to approach you in broad daylight anyway
09:00i keep telling people i don't see him approaching me at all but no one wants to hear it
09:05that is not because they don't respect what you're saying it's because they respect your father's ingenuity a little bit more
09:14you know it's your father's history here that's why people are being kind of hyper vigilant
09:19no one wants me to get snatched on their watch
09:24i don't really think that's what they're worried about sweetheart i don't
09:28anyway uh the reason that i hesitated when you mentioned going to the park is that well to be frank
09:36well to be frank
09:37ace is a real handful right now
09:40so me you trust completely
09:42mhm
09:43ace on the other hand
09:45would gladly walk right up to a pack of coyotes
09:49really you're out into traffic
09:51you know i just want you to sign up for more than you bargained for
09:55and i know that he's gonna be perfectly happy in his room
09:58it's such a nice day out
10:00plus if i take that tiny chaos machine out
10:03he can burn off some of his taller energy that way you can have your meeting in peace
10:07and he'll be too tired to drive you crazy when we get back
10:11don't be silly my grandson is a pure joy all the time
10:17and i believe you mean that
10:19no
10:20please grandma
10:24i promise i'll keep a close eye on him
10:26okay
10:29all right fine you can go
10:31thank you grandma i promise you won't regret it
10:33i know i won't
10:34and charlotte
10:35thank you
10:37you're a real lifesaver
10:39mom
10:42molly
10:43i can't find my charger
10:45have you guys seen it
10:46what are you doing
11:01what the hell mom
11:03do you not know these are privileged
11:08i don't care
11:09you're you're framing my brother for something he didn't do
11:12i hope you don't think i'm of that influence
11:25why would i think that
11:27well
11:29what happened last night
11:32i don't have any regrets
11:35my sister told me i need to start living my life
11:41last night i think i finally did
11:45i'm glad i could help
11:47can't believe how lucky i am
11:50thought it was a long shot
11:52you'd want to come back here with me
11:54i didn't want the night to end
11:56i don't want the morning to either
11:59it doesn't have to
12:02we could spend the day together
12:05go riding
12:07maybe watch a movie
12:10did they ever make a sequel to titanic
12:13it's not a sequel but they did make a movie where they go down to the wreckage and then race the titanic
12:19but
12:21i was thinking
12:23we could do something else
12:25oh cody
12:36why are you carrying molly
12:38is she hurt
12:39what have you got for me
12:43oh miss davis's revised witness list
12:46take a look at this commissioner
12:54tell me what you think alexis is up to
12:58since when do you hang out with the ada
13:08uh well i was supposed to meet
13:11the brick
13:13at cafe cheree
13:15yeah last minute he cancelled
13:17and uh i got up and i looked to my left
13:20and it was
13:21justine having dinner alone
13:23and so i thought i'd
13:25say hi to her before i left
13:28justine
13:29you're on a first name basis
13:31with the ada
13:32i'm cultivating friendship
13:34you know i thought it would be useful
13:36for you or for her
13:38well friendship goes both ways
13:41i mean don't get me wrong
13:43i think she likes me a little bit
13:45but you know she wouldn't hesitate to take me down
13:50that woman doesn't take her eye off the ball
13:53so am i the ball or is it you
13:59in general i am
14:01but today
14:02right
14:04did you get subpoenaed
14:06i'm already on alexis's witness list
14:09all right that means you're in between two incredible lawyers who are going to use your testimony
14:15to their advantage
14:17you're going to be a target
14:21for both of them
14:22it is one thing to be
14:25throwing suspicion onto michael as a possible suspect
14:28but it is another to be actively building a case against him
14:32aside from everything else that is going on
14:34it is my fiduciary duty
14:36to defend my client to the best of my ability
14:39and this
14:40daughter is what it looks like
14:42no it doesn't
14:43that looks like you are prepping witnesses to falsely accuse michael of shooting drew
14:47can you testify to his innocence
14:50can you give him an alibi that is even halfway believable
14:53no i can't
14:55because i have investigated every aspect of this case
14:59and i have looked at all the evidence and all of the suspects
15:03and i firmly believe that if the police had done their job
15:07michael would be on trial and not willow
15:10gentlemen
15:14happy new year
15:16happy new year
15:17yeah
15:18oh
15:22i'm gonna take this outside
15:24so
15:34that's it you just uh
15:36say happy new year
15:39then go on with your day
15:40you don't have to
15:41stop and make nice with the boss
15:43sidwell's not like that
15:45really
15:46yeah i mean if he needed to talk to me he'd be talking to me
15:49otherwise he respects that i have a personal life
15:53have you ever had a boss
15:56or a job for that matter where
15:59it was like that before now
16:01never
16:02never
16:03you know it's funny
16:05in many ways
16:07sidwell's a great boss
16:09the work is engaging
16:11it's challenging
16:13exciting
16:14i mean don't get me wrong
16:16i still have my own agenda
16:18good to know
16:20good to know
16:21but other than my suspicions about this underlying criminality
16:26it's honestly the best job i've ever had
16:29okay then um
16:32i think i should tell you this
16:35i know we agreed to put our relationship first
16:39but regarding
16:40sudol
16:42you don't have to tell me everything
16:46that said
16:48i'm here if you need me
16:50and i appreciate that
16:53listen in case you're wondering
16:55i know that this job with sidwell is gonna end at some point
17:00but until then
17:02i'm gonna enjoy it
17:06right up until the moment
17:08i take him down
17:10madam mayor
17:15what a pleasure
17:33thank you so much for inviting me to your home
17:35shut up
17:37get in here
17:38now now
17:39i don't want anybody thinking
17:40that we're friends
17:42but aren't we
17:43friends
17:45of a sort
17:47no
17:49bye
17:50look
17:51i know you're a very busy woman
17:52so i will make this brief
17:54i am a very busy woman
17:55so spit it out
17:56what does sidwell want now
17:58hey buddy
18:03uh felicia
18:04happy new year
18:06looks like it could be
18:08you don't seem hurt
18:10no i'm not
18:12cody was carrying me because
18:15i thought i saw a mouse
18:16oh
18:17cool
18:18well i mean it's cool
18:20it's cool to us
18:20but not to
18:21got it
18:23uh isn't james's writing lesson tomorrow
18:26it was but we moved it to today to work around your school schedule
18:31yes we did
18:33yeah
18:34well i know we're a little bit early
18:36but james was so excited about trying out his new saddle
18:39santa brought it
18:40oh yes and he had a little help from a very special elf
18:44grandma and grandpa mac let me stay up late to watch the fireworks
18:49did you see them last night
18:51i sure did
18:52they were great
18:54you know i can bring james back at another time
18:59hey buddy
19:01uh felicia
19:02happy new year
19:04looks like it could be
19:06you don't seem hurt
19:08no i'm not
19:10cody was carrying me because
19:12i thought i saw a mouse
19:14oh cool
19:15well i mean it's cool
19:17it's cool to us
19:18but not to
19:19got it
19:20uh isn't james's writing lesson tomorrow
19:23it was
19:25but we moved it to today to work around your school schedule
19:28yes we did
19:31yeah well i know we're a little bit early
19:33but james was so excited about trying out his new saddle
19:36santa brought it
19:38oh yes and he had a little help from a very special elf
19:42grandma and grandpa mac let me stay up late to watch the fireworks
19:47did you see them last night
19:48i sure did
19:50they were great
19:52you know i can bring james back at another time
19:57no
19:58no
19:59no absolutely not
20:01james has to try out his new saddle
20:03and i should go see my mom
20:06only for sure
20:07totally
20:08all right well i'll be back to pick you up in an hour
20:12can't i stay longer than an hour
20:14well let's start with this and see how the morning shakes out
20:18nice to see you molly
20:20you too
20:21ready for my lesson now
20:26alexis and turner are gonna set you up to say something you're gonna regret
20:35i know now alexis she's gonna try to make a case that i'm a suspect in the shooting
20:40i mean she already has but
20:41honestly after what happened with portia i'm not too worried about it
20:46that's not all
20:47on cross turner's gonna use you to establish willow's questionable judge
20:53and then she's gonna make you say all the mistakes willow has done right in front of the jury
21:01that makes sense
21:02and then she's gonna give you an opening
21:05to bury willow now is that a bad thing it's worse than bad michael it's a trap you get on stand in front of the jury and you say
21:16how bad willow is as a mother how capable she is of violence
21:20it's gonna be all over the press not to mention public records
21:24yes she deserves it they're not your kids
21:26you do something like that
21:30wiley and amelia at some point
21:33are gonna know what you think of their mother
21:38and it's gonna stay with them for the rest of their lives
21:43so you're telling me that whatever's in those files
21:47proves that michael shot drew and willow didn't
21:51i don't have to prove that willow didn't shoot drew i just need to provide reasonable doubt and there appears to be plenty of it
21:56okay so in your mind
21:57you have no doubt that michael did it
22:00there doesn't need to be doubt he's not the one on trial
22:03well if you had it your way
22:04if i had it my way
22:06none of this is my way
22:08look
22:10i have reason to believe
22:12that michael was at the house the night drew was shot and tracy quartermain saw him
22:18yeah i know i saw it
22:19i saw the anonymous note in your file
22:22you kidding me
22:23someone may as well have cut words out of a magazine
22:26which is why i'm not submitting it as evidence
22:28mom anyone could have sent you that note
22:31i mean did you dust it for fingerprints
22:33because if you had i bet drews were probably all over that
22:36he hates michael so much
22:39that it's not enough for him
22:41that willow go free
22:42no he has to make sure that michael pays for willow's crime also
22:46and he is using you to make sure that happens
22:49you expect me to get behind multiple helipads on spoon island helipads plural
22:57well i don't expect anything
22:59the person with the expectations is sidwell
23:02well you're gonna have to tell him that it's just impossible
23:04because the noise violations alone
23:06he also wants him on the piers as well
23:08what
23:09so what do you want me to tell the boss
23:11hmm
23:12that you're gonna take care of it
23:14or instead you are standing in the way of progress and commerce
23:18the boss
23:22yeah
23:23makes you sound like a dime store hood
23:25but then you would
23:27wouldn't you
23:28well
23:29the city doesn't give a damn
23:31about
23:32a thriving economy in port charles
23:34all he cares about is not getting caught in traffic
23:36on his way to the airport
23:38well time is money
23:39so let him work remotely
23:41he can do that
23:43can't he
23:44and then he'll never have to leave spoon island
23:46uh you know
23:47he won't go for that
23:48no he won't
23:49because he wants to land
23:51his privately owned helicopter
23:54on
23:54a public waterfront
23:57just because he can't be bothered to take the launch
23:59that's not fair to the people of port charles
24:02well that's
24:04why you're gonna need to sell it to them
24:06and if i refuse
24:10Laura
24:17take my advice
24:20give Sidwell what he wants
24:23you don't want to know what he's like
24:27when you don't
24:28yeah thanks
24:31well
24:33hello
24:34hi
24:35do i know you
24:36not yet no
24:38but i do know your grandmother
24:39and you
24:41must be charlotte
24:42cassadine
24:43and i believe
24:44that this handsome young fellow
24:46is ace
24:48is he not
24:49alexis is gonna suggest
24:58that the pcpd
24:59focused on willow tate
25:00as the shooter prematurely
25:02and we chose not to pursue
25:04another equally viable suspect
25:06who was
25:07right in front of us
25:08yeah
25:09yeah she's gonna say
25:10that i'm biased
25:11and that my investigation
25:13was arbitrary
25:13and not only because
25:15michael is the
25:16ex-husband of the defendant
25:17but he is
25:19a viable suspect himself
25:21and she's gonna say
25:22we chose not to pursue
25:23him because
25:24uh he's my brother
25:25i would
25:27but you're not worried
25:28you know how to handle this dante
25:30just be consistent
25:33methodical
25:34and transparent
25:35you know
25:36tell the truth
25:38well that was
25:39always the plan
25:40you know
25:40i know
25:40just stick to the facts
25:42and be yourself
25:43the jury will love you
25:44meanwhile alexis is gonna
25:47come at me with everything
25:48she's got
25:49and i'll object if necessary
25:51but i doubt i'll have to
25:52i think
25:53alexis has dug her own grave
25:56and willow tate's along with it
25:59wow
26:00didn't realize that you had
26:02such low regard for my skills
26:04as an attorney
26:05of course i don't
26:06that's not
26:06do you really think
26:07that i would build a case
26:09based on an anonymous letter
26:11without evidence to support it
26:13you have other viable suspects
26:14so why are you zeroing in on michael
26:17because i zeroed in on portia
26:19and that turned out to be a fiasque
26:21now i need to build
26:24the strongest case that i have
26:25to provide reasonable doubt for willow
26:28that's my duty
26:29and not just for her
26:32but for scout
26:34and sam
26:35if you lash out
26:40on the stand
26:41about willow
26:42amelia
26:44and wiley
26:46are gonna sooner or later
26:47find out
26:48what their father said
26:49about their mom
26:50dad it's too late
26:51all right
26:51my kids already have to live
26:53with the knowledge
26:53that their mom
26:54chose drew over them
26:55i mean drew manipulated
26:57our son against me twice
26:58and willow didn't care
26:59you gotta rise up
27:00why
27:00why should i have to do that
27:02how did you feel
27:03when your mother married the man
27:04who beat the hell out of you
27:05huh
27:06yo mike you wasn't in your life
27:08at the time
27:08but my kids
27:09they have me
27:10and they need to know
27:11i'm not looking the other way
27:12they need to know
27:13that i know the truth
27:14about their mom
27:15that she puts her needs
27:16over theirs
27:17and they need to know
27:18that i would do anything
27:19to protect them
27:20anything
27:22look
27:25don't shoot the messenger
27:27okay that is my district too
27:29i live there
27:30those people are my constituents
27:31on paper perhaps
27:33but you only care
27:35about one constituent
27:36yes
27:37yes i do
27:38and he wants helipads
27:39look between us
27:40i'm the one
27:41who's gonna have to
27:42put up with that
27:42construction noise
27:43i'm the one
27:43who's gonna have to
27:44listen to those
27:44helicopters flying
27:45back and forth
27:46and what about
27:48your other constituents
27:49what are you gonna
27:50tell them
27:51well
27:52oh let's see
27:54publicly
27:54i will be vehemently
27:56opposed to the helipads
27:57i will say
27:59oh my goodness
28:00i wish there was something
28:01i could do
28:02woe is me
28:03mayor collins
28:03is much too powerful
28:05ezra
28:06ah
28:06that's disgusting
28:09is this
28:10is this really
28:13what you want to be
28:15to be
28:16sidwell's
28:17messenger boy
28:18his
28:19his bootlicker
28:20i mean
28:21you must have cared
28:23about people
28:24at some point
28:25to have gone
28:26into politics
28:27not everyone
28:31is like you
28:31laura
28:32it really is
28:35remarkable that you
28:36and your
28:36ethics
28:37have lasted
28:38this long
28:39you make ethics
28:41sound like a dirty
28:42word
28:43just an inconvenient
28:44one
28:44don't make this
28:47so hard
28:47from here on out
28:50you need to be
28:53more selfish
28:54you have to start
28:55looking out
28:56after yourself
28:56yeah well you
28:57would be the
28:58expert on that
28:59wouldn't you
28:59and you
29:01being you
29:03can do some
29:05good when you
29:06can
29:06which won't be
29:08often
29:08but knowing you
29:10you'll manage
29:12thank you
29:14for your
29:15faith in me
29:16i have faith
29:18in sidwell's
29:18ability
29:19to get what
29:20he wants
29:21or if you
29:25give him
29:25what he
29:25wants
29:25he can
29:27be the
29:27best friend

29:45nice to
29:45meet you
29:46yeah
29:47do you
29:48know
29:48that charlotte
29:50used to live
29:51at windermere
29:52with her
29:52father
29:53really
29:54that must
29:55have been
29:55kind of spooky
29:56living there
29:56as a kid
29:57it was
29:58i prefer
30:00spooky
30:00our house
30:03has such
30:03a complicated
30:04history
30:05my understanding
30:07bet is
30:08if your
30:08uncle nicholas
30:09had been
30:10presumed
30:10dead
30:11it wouldn't
30:12even be
30:13our house
30:13it would
30:14belong
30:14to ace
30:15where are you
30:16going now
30:16uh oh
30:17i think ace's
30:19loss of
30:19inheritance
30:19is a
30:20touchy
30:21subject
30:21he's just
30:22ready for
30:23his nap
30:23i was gonna
30:24take him
30:25into bobby's
30:25for a
30:25cookie but
30:26i think
30:27i'd better
30:27get him
30:27home
30:28okay
30:28well
30:29please
30:30give my
30:30regards
30:31to the
30:31mayor
30:31i will
30:33and please
30:34keep an eye
30:35on this
30:35young man
30:36you know
30:36children
30:36at this
30:37age
30:37they could
30:37be so
30:38reckless
30:38curious
30:39explorers
30:40trusting
30:41turn away
30:42for a second
30:42and boom
30:43they're gone
30:44okay well
30:46that's not
30:47gonna happen
30:47but thanks
30:50for the
30:50tip
30:50let's go
30:51come on
30:52easy
30:57alexis did
30:59herself no
31:00favors with
31:00the jury
31:01when she
31:01showed them
31:02that she
31:02was willing
31:02to throw
31:03an innocent
31:03woman to
31:04the wolves
31:04on the
31:04off chance
31:05that it
31:05might save
31:05her client
31:06it felt
31:07desperate
31:08and the jury
31:09won't like
31:09her forcing
31:10dr.
31:11robinson
31:11to profess
31:12such profoundly
31:13personal
31:13things on
31:14the stand
31:14things that
31:15had no
31:16bearing on
31:17the case
31:17yeah i heard
31:18about that
31:19with portia
31:19that sounds
31:20uh
31:20sounded rough
31:21even i felt
31:23bad for her
31:24which is why
31:26alexis's move
31:27worked in our
31:28favor
31:28do you think
31:29the jury
31:30feels bad
31:30for willow
31:31it's hard
31:32to say
31:32alexis would
31:34never put
31:35willow on
31:35the stand
31:36she'd never
31:37hold up
31:38under cross
31:38but on the
31:39other hand
31:40a defendant
31:41who doesn't
31:42want to
31:42testify on
31:42their own
31:43behalf
31:43could make
31:44the jury
31:44suspicious
31:45what about
31:46a cop
31:47whose brother
31:48is the
31:48defendant's
31:49ex
31:49like i said
31:51you're professional
31:53and you're
31:53likable
31:54believe me
31:55you've got
31:56this
31:57well
31:59ada
31:59turner
32:00i appreciate
32:00your faith
32:01in me
32:01i'll work
32:01to keep
32:02earning it
32:02question
32:05though
32:05are you
32:06prosecuting
32:08this case
32:08because it was
32:09anna's
32:09investigation
32:10or
32:11do you think
32:13willow's guilty
32:14that charlotte
32:17what a charming
32:19girl
32:19and potentially
32:21very useful
32:22how so
32:24well her father
32:25is valentin
32:26cassadine
32:27valentin
32:28cassadine is a
32:29man of many
32:30talents
32:31i could use
32:32someone like
32:33him on our
32:34current project
32:34if only he
32:36weren't number
32:36one on the
32:37wsb's most
32:38wanted list
32:38well
32:39he may be
32:40in the wind
32:40but his daughter
32:42is in port
32:42charles
32:43which means
32:44can't be
32:45very far
32:45when i look
32:47back at
32:48our marriage
32:49i see a
32:51multitude
32:51of missed
32:52opportunities
32:53i mean
32:54there were
32:54so many
32:55times
32:55where we
32:56where we
32:57almost
32:58connected
32:58but
32:59for whatever
33:00reason
33:01we just
33:01didn't
33:02yeah
33:03well
33:03i had
33:05my job
33:05my secrets
33:07and you
33:08tried yours
33:09both of us
33:11living in a
33:12world that
33:13we couldn't
33:13share with
33:14each other
33:14and
33:16i don't want
33:18that to happen
33:18again
33:18neither do i
33:19but there are
33:21still things
33:21that i can't
33:22tell you
33:22and i'm sure
33:24there are things
33:24that you can't
33:25tell me
33:25so
33:27has our
33:30situation
33:31really changed
33:31we went to
33:34the park
33:35and then we
33:35went to
33:35bobby's
33:36oh
33:37did ace
33:38get his
33:39cookie
33:39no he
33:41was getting
33:41pre-nap
33:42grumpy
33:42oh
33:43how'd your
33:44meeting go
33:45better than
33:47i would have
33:48thought
33:49still agonizing
33:50but it
33:52helped me a lot
33:52to know that
33:53you and ace
33:54were having fun
33:55together
33:55we did have
33:56fun didn't
33:57we ace
33:57yes
33:58he really
34:04looks tired

34:07probably get
34:07him up to
34:08his bed
34:08i can do
34:09it
34:09if you

34:22sidwell
34:22he told
34:23me to
34:24give you
34:24his
34:24regards
34:25come on

35:12call
35:12gody
35:14is mo
35:15your girlfriend
35:15now
35:16yes
35:17that's the
35:22beauty of
35:22the system
35:23it doesn't
35:24matter what
35:24i believe
35:25or what
35:25you believe
35:26either
35:26you're a cop
35:28with integrity
35:28i am an
35:29officer of
35:30the court
35:30we follow
35:31the letter
35:32of the law
35:32our responsibility
35:34is to
35:35present the facts
35:36in the best
35:37possible way
35:38we can
35:38hoping that
35:40the truth
35:40comes out
35:41we gotta do
35:42a lot better
35:42than hope
35:43true
35:44meanwhile
35:46Alexis has to defend her client to the best of her ability after both sides have had their say
35:54The jury will decide
35:58Of course I'd do anything for my kids and I know what you're thinking
36:01Yeah, what's that but I could have taken Edward's gun at any time
36:05That I could have shot Drew and I could have paid just center to be my alibi
36:08And then I could have wiped that gun and waited for the perfect opportunity to plan it on Willow because just shooting Drew
36:13That wouldn't have been enough. I need to make sure that Willow was out of the picture
36:18And then the front nail in the coffin I'd have to get up on that stand and make sure that everyone knew exactly
36:23What Willow was capable of so they would put her away for good because then and only then would my kids finally be safe
36:31So what are you telling me?
36:34And when I do finally get on that stand
36:39Everything I say will be for the benefit of my children
36:43We can't see Scout if I don't exonerate Willow
36:49And that little girl needs us
36:51So we have to protect her
36:53Of course we have to protect her
36:55But why does that mean you have to sacrifice my brother in the process?
36:59That you love your brother
37:01I know how loyal you are to him
37:05But he is a grown-up
37:07And he will be able to take care of himself
37:09But he didn't do it
37:11We don't know that
37:13Christina if you're thinking
37:16Of warning your brother of the new direction that we're taking
37:20I want you to remember
37:22That Scout's well-being is at stake
37:27She is just a little girl
37:28And she can't defend herself
37:33But Michael is a grown man
37:36And he's very capable of handling this
37:39And he's going to have to
37:40So if we're right back where we started
37:47How do we change where we're headed?
37:50Okay, how about this?
37:51I promise to be as open as I can about my work
37:56So do I
37:56Do I have to do that?
37:57In fact
37:58Let's make a promise
38:00Right here
38:00Right now
38:01That we will
38:03Always have the difficult conversations that we would much rather avoid
38:08Because
38:11Whatever this is
38:13What's happening between us now
38:17That is the most important thing
38:19Yes, Charlotte could be very useful bringing Valentine on board
38:31Now I get it
38:33Why you turned on the charm with her
38:35Well, I'm a charming fellow
38:37You certainly can be
38:38And you were
38:40Right up until the moment that you made a veiled threat against a child
38:43That was hardly a threat
38:45Come on
38:47I was just sending Mayor Collins a message
38:52Charlotte, thank you for everything you've done
38:54Anytime, he's the cutest little monster ever
38:57Um, I'm sorry, but I have to ask this
39:02Do you know Jen Sidwell?
39:05No, he introduced himself
39:06We mostly talked about Windermere
39:09Um, he was nice
39:12Except
39:13Except what?
39:16After he told me to give you his regards
39:19He told me I should keep an eye on Ace
39:22He said children are reckless at that age
39:25And you only have to look away for an instant
39:28And they're gone
39:37On the next General Hospital
39:38Give me a little bit more time, please
39:41You have got to get Ace out of harm's way
39:43That was incredible
39:45I need to find Jacinda
39:46You need to leave town immediately
39:48What if the person he reached out to is Anna?
39:50What are you doing here?
